A lovely nursery that has the best staff. Our princess is well looked after and there are lots of exciting activities that take place.

Highly recommend, one of the best (if not the best) in the area.

I have two children who currently attend the nursery. We started our journey in 2020, and even though we were in the pandemic, the staff at the nursery were amazing. Communication was excellent, and the handover with children was also great. The children get to experience lots of different things at the nursery, such as trips, swimming, gymnastics and walks out around the town, and all year round, they put different days on for the children to experience different activities. All of the staff have been incredible, the transitions throughout the nursery into the different rooms have been incredible and been done when they have suited my children. They go above and beyond to ensure all needs to the children are met, and my children love going to nursery. Nothing has ever been too much, and even the office staff are really friendly and helpful. I couldn't recommend this nursery anymore. We will be really sad to leave.

Amazing nursery. My child has been attending for nearly a year now, and I feel like the staff all know him well, even though he only attends one day a week. He loves going there. When he first started, and he didn't settle initially, they supported us both through this, as for me, it was very difficult leaving him. The communication is great via the app, and I love that we get lots of pictures throughout the day. The staff are all so lovely, and even though im forever mithering them with questions, they will give me time and answer them.

Absolutely amazing nursery.
My daughter attends every day and has an amazing time.
The staff are lovely and friendly, with lots of activities and stuff going on.
The app is great; you get to see everything your child’s up to.

I’ve had no issues in the 12 months she’s attended.

Over The Rainbow is a caring and loving environment for children. They put the effort into every child's needs, and you feel supported because of the extra steps they always take to go above and beyond. I currently have a four and a 2-year-old at the nursery, with the 2-year-old having selective mutism. The steps they have taken to help my 2-year-old overcome his anxieties are fantastic, and I can honestly say I don't know what I would do without them. The staff are what makes this place special.

For the last 20 years, I have been the owner and Manager of a childcare setting in Nottingham. As part of this role, I have gained significant experience regarding the standards of care and education which are required within a nursery setting. As part of my own professional development, I have undertaken an Early Years Foundation Degree in Early Years Studies and am now a level 5 qualified person. My passion for childcare is one of the fundamental reasons that we decided to proceed with the new venture of becoming one of the new owners of Over the Rainbow Day Nursery in Ashton-in-Makerfield, which I am the nominated person for.
