The nursery has being beneficial to my child's growth and learning. They really helped him during potty training, informs us of any problems that may have arisen during school hours. Most importantly they teachers are so friendly especially but not limited to Becky, and her twin , Hannah, Chelsea and others I can't remember their names. God bless you all.
The experience of the nursery is really good the teachers are very nice and helpful and they look after my son really well my child loves coming to nursery to see his friends and to do lots of fun things.
Great nursery. Professional approach to childcare, interesting activities, and a very friendly team. My son is happy, which is the most important thing for us. I would definitely recommend it to any parent.
my son attended this nursery from sept 23 to April 26 he has additional needs and needs extra care not only have the staff gone above and beyond, they even had full training with my son's epilepsy team, meaning I felt reassured that he truly was in the best hands, we even moved out of the Wigan borough but we decided that this nursery was best for our sons needs and we kept him enrolled here, every member of staff is fabulous, they truly are the most caring and dedicated staff, my son has only recently left and that's only because he's now ready to join his special school xxx
My little girl was upset when she first started coming, and the staff made her feel happy and comfortable and now she asks me if she can go everyday.
The office staff are extremely helpful and any issues I have with dropping off or picking up are dealt with straight away.
The nursery do lots of different activities and have lots of different areas to play in, out door areas and have even started to do swimming.
It really is a fantastic nursery and I'll be sad when my daughter leaves in the summer!!
My boy enjoys going to nursery! The teachers are kind, attentive, and genuinely committed to nurturing each child's development and well-being. The staff does a fantastic job of communicating with parents, providing us with updates through photos and daily reports. I strongly recommend this nursery to any parent seeking a loving and professional setting for their child.
Couldn't have asked for a better nursery for my 3 year old. He is in Lower Preschool now. So well settled. He is there from Baby room and the staff are so good with him. He doesn't want to leave when we go to pick him up.
We love the Nursery, our son has been here since September of 2022, and has grown and developed really well. We see his progress daily after being at nursery. The staff are very caring and responsive and give timely feedbacks and reports. When we were looking for a nursery for our son in 2022 we were had no idea where our child will be safe and cared for while we were away at work, but since Herons has made us confident that our son will be safe and cared for and not only this, but also will grow as an individual child. If we have any concerns Herons staff are always welcoming to receive advice and suggestions to improve or provide additional caring. We, as parents, also enjoy dropping our child off and picking him up again three times a week. Herons has family feel in it. Keep it up!
My daughter loves the nursery and all the staff. Her face lights up as soon as she sees we are getting near and when we get to hand over she is jumping out of my arms with excitement. The staff are diligent and caring. I couldn't have wished for a more warm and friendly environment for her to be looked after in. She has had issues with gaining weight and everyone has gone above and beyond with extra bottle feeds and encouraging her with food. I recommend Heron Day Nursery to everyone.
Staff team are always welcoming, friendly and fun activities in line with celebrations or Halloween, Easter or birthdays, sporting events.
Whilst at times it can be busy the team know your child and can always feedback how they have been during their stay.
I like that they show an interest in my child outside of their involvement, knowing the teachers and their activities.
The school has been closed last minute on a few occasions and the club has provided holiday club at the last minute.
Would recommend to anyone.
Our daughter has been coming to Heron Day for 7 years, in both the nursery and now in the breakfast club - she still loves it! The staff are amazing and show genuine affection for the children and there is always an interesting activity on offer. We have always had great communication and updates from them and they were even able to reach out and offer a last-minute holiday club when the primary school had to close unexpectedly for a day. Wonderful!
Amazing care for my children. Always patient and understanding. Always so much to do in the school holidays as well. Have helped out with me on short notice before. Would recommend to others in the area.
There is never too much trouble for one staff member in particular, she is always so kind and helpful.
Thank you for everything!
Two members of staff in particular have been brilliant with my son since he started reception, making the transition between nursery and school an enjoyable one. My son looks forward to breakfast club days which makes mornings a lot easier!!
My little girl has been coming for around 2 years now and adores the staff, as you can also tell the staff adore the kids! They are very caring and welcoming to everyone, they all go above and beyond, I'll be sad when the day eventually comes my little girl will no longer need to go because she enjoys it, which is an added relief when you have to work, thank you so much to all the team.
Thank you to all the staff.
The girls are amazing here always smiling and my little boy loves going and seeing the girls at Heron Breakfast Club. I don't drop him off but I know he has the best time in the morning and he always gives them a huge hug when he sees them.
The out of school club staff are fantastic with the children at Heron Day. They are kind, fun and create a very positive and caring atmosphere in the rooms. They also implement positive values and endeavour to come up with varied activities for all. All the children always look happy and my children enjoy spending time at Heron.
My daughter has been at Heron for 3 years now and what stands out the most for me is the amazing staff! Everyone there is so kind and caring and they look after my little one so well. She enjoys the food and they set up some great activities!
The nursery's Special Educational Needs team stands out as particularly attentive and knowledgeable, always providing tailored support that has made a real difference for him. The friendly, approachable management team is committed to high-quality care, and their dedication to each child's development shines through. We're very pleased with the level of care, communication, and preparation for school that Heron Nursery provides.
