Fire Station Day Nursery is a purpose-built nursery in Mossley, built with the care and development of children as highest priority. Housed in a restored old Fire Station which has been converted to a modern bright and inspiring day nursery with ample parking, their nursery is sure to be the right choice for you and your child.

Fire Station Day Nursery offers excellent facilities. Each room creates an environment that has been designed with a focus on the unique needs of children.

There are a number of additional features that enhance the nursery facilities including a Sensory Theatre and a large indoor adventure play area, designed especially for their older children and not forgetting their babies and toddlers, they have a purpose designed soft play area.

To complement the facilities the Fire Station also has an imaginative toy town, where their children's imagination have no boundaries, an area for parents to relax and have refreshments while visiting, and ample parking and drop-off zones.

Early bird (07:30-08:00): £4.00 per day

My child has been at Fire Station Day Nursery since 10 months old, and at every stage has been well supported and looked after by the staff at nursery. The nursery is a safe place and all staff are friendly and nurturing. I have full confidence in this nursery and my child is very happy here.

Over the last six years, both my children have attended the Fire Station Day Nursery and they have been very happy and well looked after. The staff do an amazing job and the children are in a happy and safe environment. The staff have been there many years and really form strong bonds with the children.
My son is in his last year as he is starting school next September and we will miss the nursery and the amazing staff. I couldn't thank them enough for all they do!

My son loves coming to nursery every day. He's always happy when I pick him up and loves his key worker. I'm so happy with the progress he's made in pre-school too, I think this is the most settled I've seen him in nursery. She always keeps me informed and I'm really impressed with the new skills she's

My baby boy has been attending this nursery since October 2023. Although he's only been there for a couple of months, he has settled in really well. The staff are so kind, lovely and approachable. They keep us informed about his day at nursery, including his nap times, feed times and activities that
he's been doing. They also send pictures, which puts our minds at rest during the day when we're missing him. They also have a soft playroom, which looks really fun. I could not recommend this nursery enough.

Every time I drop my granddaughter off she is met with lovely, cheerful staff who make her so welcome.
She loves her meals which are good, tasty, wholesome food and her activities, especially her Christmas theme, of course.
I feel very happy leaving her there and when I pick her up, she is usually
having a lovely nap in a calm room with nice music playing.
I can highly recommend the Fire Station Day Nursery.

My son is so happy at Fire Station Day Nursery. I chose this nursery based on my daughter’s previous experience, who has since left for school. The staff have become such a large part of their lives and I have felt comfortable since day one leaving my children in their care. We receive daily updates
and are very happy with everything overall. Would highly recommend.

My little boy has been going to Fire Station since he was six months old. From booking a viewing of the nursery to enrolling him and this past year and a half, everything has been amazing. The facilities are amazing, and the staff are just so lovely! My son absolutely loves it - he runs in every morning
without hesitation. He has developed so well, and so many other mums comment on this. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome!

Our little girl loves attending and has a great relationship with the staff.
The staff are friendly yet professional and always really welcoming.
We like the updates that the app provides and find it really reassuring knowing what our child is up to and whether she has eaten etc.
Pick up and drop
off is always friendly and calm, with further updates of what they have been up to throughout the day.

We love the Fire Station Day Nursery - and most importantly, so does our baby daughter! The nursery has a relaxed feel yet we know that our daughter is always safe, secure and well looked after. Our daughter has enjoyed getting stuck into a whole host of activities that we might not have tried with
her (yet) at home, and so it’s brought her on and given us confidence too. We’ve also really appreciated the nursery accommodating our work patterns and making small amendments for us. Overall, we’ve had a wonderful experience so far, and we suspect we will continue to do so!

My child looks forward to going to nursery. This is testament to the fun and safe environment that the staff create. Facilities are good with outdoor and indoor play areas. Arts and crafts are a regular occurrence. Development is monitored well. App is regularly updated to monitor food and sleep. No

Fire Station is a great nursery, both of my children are very happy there. The staff are welcoming, attentive and enthusiastic. Both children are encouraged to develop and learn and are supported well by the staff. I highly recommend Fire Station.

Our daughter has been attending Fire Station nursery for just over two years. I cannot recommend this place enough. She is meeting and exceeding all her milestones, with brilliant and varied activities, learning numeracy and literacy skills and most importantly having fun and growing into an independent
little girl. The staff are just amazing and we have no doubt that she is very well cared for and supported. We get substantial and regular progress updates and photos via the app, which help us to continue the learning at home. We love that the kids get to do dance and PE too and the meals are healthy and varied (clean plates always!) Thank you for everything you do.

I have sent my twins to this nursery for nearly two years. They absolutely love coming to nursery and have progressed significantly throughout the nursery journey. They love each individual member of staff they encounter. The staff are knowledgeable, caring and friendly. From the twin's first day at
nursery we felt so welcome. Daily progress is tracked on the app so we can check what they have been doing throughout the day. They get plenty of outside play time and also make plenty of stuff at nursery for us to bring home. For us this nursery has been perfect as we are shift workers. We have a flexible agreement so we pick different days each week, we give the nursery a month's notice. I used this nursery for my daughter also who is now twelve and she has the most amazing memories of this nursery. The manager is the same and is lovely with all the children and so welcoming.

The preschool 2 nursery staff are amazing. I know he is looked after so well and he loves spending time with them. They clearly care about his progress and have gone above expectations on getting my child the help he needs. The environment is also super nice, clean and fun with lots of different activities
that he loves to tell me about or show me when I pick him up. They make an effort to teach the children through fun ways about the world, special days etc. I can’t recommend them enough and wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else! Only downside is him realising that the staff won’t be there when he moves up to school, wish he could stay there!

The nursery staff are fantastic - they really care for the children and want them to develop in a fun and imaginative way. The variety of themes and activities is excellent - from music to cookery lessons and themes of special events and related crafts and activities. The range of foods served is very
good - with all dietary requirements and tastes catered for. The app is excellent at telling you what your child is up to as well as being able to post messages directly to the room staff on it. Communication generally with the manager is very good and flexible.

Our one year old daughter started with Fire Station Day Nursery in August 2022. Now at 19 months old she has continued to thrive and develop under the care and attention of the staff and her key workers. She is happy and has formed special bonds with other children. The day to day activities continue
to support her development and the communication received by the nursery via the app allows you to monitor your child's daily progress. Could not recommend this nursery enough we now know that we made the right choice!
