Fire Station Day Nursery is a purpose-built nursery in Mossley, built with the care and development of children as highest priority. Housed in a restored old Fire Station which has been converted to a modern bright and inspiring day nursery with ample parking, their nursery is sure to be the right choice for you and your child.

Fire Station Day Nursery offers excellent facilities. Each room creates an environment that has been designed with a focus on the unique needs of children.

There are a number of additional features that enhance the nursery facilities including a Sensory Theatre and a large indoor adventure play area, designed especially for their older children and not forgetting their babies and toddlers, they have a purpose designed soft play area.

To complement the facilities the Fire Station also has an imaginative toy town, where their children's imagination have no boundaries, an area for parents to relax and have refreshments while visiting, and ample parking and drop-off zones.

My little girl attends Fire Station Day Nursery, I honestly couldn't be happier that we chose this particular nursery.
My daughter has developed so much hitting her milestones and beyond. The nursery team are second to none, they keep you informed with photos, they debrief at collection and genuinely
are some of the nicest people you can meet. My daughter genuinely loves nursery and is thriving. The care they give my daughter is like the care you would give family members, nothing is ever too much trouble. The nursery is clean & tidy and the facilities are great- Especially toy town! Not only have they been superb with my daughter but they have helped me out on multiple occasions by being so accommodating with early drop-offs or late pick-ups. I'd highly recommend Fire Station.

The staff are wonderful and really care for my baby as if he's their own. They are excited to see him, and to tell me all of the things he gets up to in his day. There are lots of opportunities to get involved with activities at the nursery and some also include parents. It's a lovely nursery and I'm
so glad both of my children have been here. I think it says a lot that the same staff from when I first went are still there now.

My daughter absolutely loves her days at nursery and it is all down to how wonderful the staff are. They are very attentive to my daughters needs and seem to really know her well. She enjoys the daily activities, indoor and outdoor play and even the food! My daughter is beyond her developmental milestones

Our 2nd child that we have currently going through this setting and we wouldn't want to go anywhere else! Both my daughter (who is now at school) and my son is currently in the baby room, both of them have thrived at nursery thanks to the hard work and dedication of the staff and manager. The staff
in every room are wonderful, they are so caring and warm and the activities they come up with to engage the children are fabulous. Both of my children have felt safe at nursery and have enjoyed every day. My son gets so excited when he sees the staff in the morning, and he usually can't wait to greet them. The nursery is clean and tidy, the artwork on the walls is always well presented and clearly put up with care and pride. Communication between staff and parents/carers is brilliant. Not a single complaint.

One of the most significant decisions is where to place your child. I'd consider a nursery equally as responsible for a child's development after the age of one, and I am so grateful to the staff at the Fire Station nursery.


The staff engagement, facilities, activities, food-everything is excellent.

My child always has a smile on his face whenever I peek through the door during collection, and he knows the practitioners by name, saying he loves them all.


From the moment you're sat down with the manager, reviewing the facilities and signing the documents, to the day your child starts (and beyond), you feel so welcomed as a family, and nothing is too much trouble.


The safeguarding in place is thorough, which we recently experienced when my mother-in-law collected our child - the requirements were beyond a minimum expectation, and ensured that only the allowed and notified people are able to enter the building.


I'm so thankful to everyone at the Fire Station nursery.

My daughter thoroughly enjoys her days in nursery. She is well socialised and happy in the nursery environment, and her nutritional intake is great. I love the updates via the app during the day as to nappy changes, feeding times and nap times - this is a great feature which reduces my anxiety whilst
not with her. The staff are lovely and I can see that they really do enjoy working with the children. The nursery is clean and well presented, the outdoor areas are great and the selection of toys available in the age-specific rooms are very well chosen.
It makes me happy to know that my daughter is happy and well looked after!

I have two children who attend the nursery. Both absolutely love attending and have developed so much since starting.
I recommend the nursery to everyone. We do travel from another area to the nursery only about 10 mins drive but it's worth it in our opinion you can tell the staff actually care for
your children.

My 2-year-old has been with Fire Station Day Nursery since he was 4 months old. He has truly thrived and developed within the nursery and I find him coming home learning and saying new things every day. The nursery nurses are great and cater to each child's needs. I can't recommend the nursery enough

We've had the best service from Fire Station, from the nursery staff to management to accounts. Everyone is super helpful and responsive. The nursery itself is secure, clean, bright, welcoming and engaging. Our daughters love going to nursery, learning new skills, playing with new things and love the
outdoor space. The food choices are balanced and the girls have tried new things whilst being at nursery. We would recommend the nursery to anyone.

We knew from the start that our daughter would be going to the Fire Station Day Nursery as all of my nephews and nieces have also attended there when they were growing up. When our daughter actually started we got to meet a lot of the staff, who are just brilliant and that goes for them all as our girl
is now in preschool 1! The staff have always helped us out whenever we've needed to adjust things, even at last minute, very professional and friendly, as for our daughter she's doing amazing with her growth in all aspects, always happy and smiling whenever we drop her off or picking her up, and it is all down to the amazing staff at the Fire Station Day Nursery, I would HIGHLY recommend this nursery to everyone without question!

Over the last six years, both my children have attended the Fire Station Day Nursery and they have been very happy and well looked after. The staff do an amazing job and the children are in a happy and safe environment. The staff have been there many years and really form strong bonds with the children.
My son is in his last year as he is starting school next September and we will miss the nursery and the amazing staff. I couldn't thank them enough for all they do!

My baby boy has been attending this nursery since October 2023. Although he's only been there for a couple of months, he has settled in really well. The staff are so kind, lovely and approachable. They keep us informed about his day at nursery, including his nap times, feed times and activities that
he's been doing. They also send pictures, which puts our minds at rest during the day when we're missing him. They also have a soft playroom, which looks really fun. I could not recommend this nursery enough.
