Glen Jakes Private Day Nursery

My son has been at Glen Jakes Nursery for nearly 12 months and he always comes home stimulated and content. Glen Jakes Nursery has a great set up with a creative use of space and toys well beyond the usual range, the nursery is very clean and bright with a fantastic range of facilities. Glen Jakes Nursery is very organised and communication with parents is excellent, the staff are helpful and very approachable. The wall displays are always changing with the children's own work and lots of artwork is brought home too. I really feel that staff have always dealt with my son in an excellent way and treated him very much as an individual. I am confident my son is well cared for and would definitely recommend Glen Jakes Nursery to my friends and family.

My daughter is currently in the baby room. I am very happy with the care that is given, she is always happy to see the staff. I always know what she has done throughout the day with regards to her daily routine and activities she has done. I am very happy with the care at Glen Jakes Nursery.

I currently have a son in the baby room and my eldest son used to attend. Glen Jakes is a great nursery. All the staff care for the children and show nurturing and affection. Activities and resources are varied with lots as variety. My children's learning journeys have always been detailed and full of evidence and achievements. I love seeing photos they have taken during the day. I feel very involved with my child's learning. My eldest son had a brilliant start here and was in good stead when he left for school. I can see this happening for my youngest too. Thank you.

My two girls (3 years/10 months ) went to Glen Jakes Nursery and both loved it. They were full of smiles every day they went to nursery. Unfortunately, due to moving out of the area, we had to move nursery and my oldest still talks about the staff and friends there and misses them. Excellent, friendly and caring staff and great facilities. I would definitely recommend this nursery to others.

Both my babies have been attending here since April 2015 aged 2 years 2 months (son) and 1 year 2 months (daughter)...they both settled in great and the staff really helped me with my clingy unsociable daughter. They have both come on heaps and bounds with their social skills as well as learning. My babies will be attending until they both start full time school as I know they both love going to Glen Jakes x

Glen Jakes is a fantastic nursery! Our son loves his time there and the staff are excellent. They are constantly doing different activities and have lots of outdoor fun! The staff really care about each individual child and make them feel really welcome.

Overall I'm happy with Glen Jakes, and my son always seems happy which is the main thing. I'm happy with his development and the support he gets from the staff. However, I do find it difficult sometimes to find out how he has been all day as the staff that are there in the morning are no longer then in the evening, or staff move from class to class. I do feel it would be better if staff were present from drop off to collection, although I understand for various reasons this is not always possible.

We have no issues with our son's care here. He loves it and I never feel like he's just a number. The girls will notice things like his new shoes or haircut. They are all so nice.

He does lots of varied activities which he always enjoys.

Brilliant nursery good care given, teaching skills outstanding my child is advanced in her social skills and physical development due to such brilliant input from the staff at Glen Jakes I would strongly recommend this nursery to anyone who wants high standards of childcare for their child.

Lovely staff, my son has come on so much since attending . Great meals, excellent activities, lovely outdoor space and facilities my son never wants to leave. I'm sending him more often and would highly recommend this nursery to all parents, it's clean and friendly and a lovely atmosphere.
