Holyrood Nursery Salford Royal

My son has attended this Nursery since he was 1 year old and the staff have been nothing but amazing with him. My son was quite unsettled when he first started and the staff were always so reassuring and kept me up to date with everything. My son has a great time each day he comes and is down to the lovely staff members who care so much for the kids and always make extra effort with activities to engage them! I also love the outdoor area the nursery has and how they encourage the children to go outside in all weathers which my son loves. The nursery staff are always so accommodating and always listen to parents' requests

Holyrood Salford Royal is a lovely nursery. It is professionally and efficiently run and I have no hesitations in recommending this nursery.

Very friendly caring staff, my daughter loves it there. She has been there since she was 8 months old (she is now 2.5 years) and all staff in every room have been amazing and caring. I know she is in good hands when I drop her off.

Our daughter really enjoys her time here and has built such a lovely relationship with her carers. It’s only been a few weeks but already we feel her development and skills have soared since starting and could not recommend the nursery more.

My child is well settled in the nursery and loves to go there. He takes his breakfast, has lunch. Sleeps in a settled environment. Plays with natural things. Goes outside and plays. Overall I am quite happy with the care and satisfied with the service. Thanks to the team.

I've had nothing but a positive experience with this nursery. My child started in the baby room and has now moved up to the toddler room. All staff interventions and communications have always been professional and caring towards myself and my child. Whilst being present at pick up and drop off times the staff always make an effort to talk to you and make you feel instantly comfortable. You are always greeted with a positive happy atmosphere and staff. I have never had any negative issues here. All the children look comfortable and very cared for and catered to their own individual needs. They also provide the children with multiple activities to do on a daily basis. As a first-time Mum, I had concerns about leaving my child in child care from previously working with in the sector but I feel I am leaving my child in very safe hands at this nursery and my child's confidence and independence have come on so much since going to nursery and being able to interact with other children and adults.

A special thanks to the lead worker in the toddler room, who goes above and beyond for the children and parents. I could not recommend the nursery more.

I always feel informed when I need to be, but they also never worry me unnecessarily during the day if it can wait. The boys love it and have come on in their development since they’ve been attending.

There’s recently been a change In staff in the toddler room which I was worried about due to my child being attached to the member of staff in question. However, I didn’t need to worry. The transition has been handled so brilliantly. The nursery are so considerate of every child’s feelings and have been slowly easing the transition with different staff. The new member of staff is just as brilliant with my boy as they all are and I really can’t thank them enough. Additionally, I have another child who’s just started in the baby room which has been handled amazingly well. He’s settled in so quickly and his key worker is a dream with him! Love this nursery, thank you for putting us parents so much at ease!

Staff are always friendly and welcoming, helpful at drop offs and pick ups. It’s lovely to see how warmly the staff interact with the children. In the 2-3s room, the team come up with lots of innovative and interesting ways to keep the children entertained and develop new skills. My daughter is very happy here and enjoys coming to nursery every day.

My daughter loves going to nursery, she is always so happy and in a great mood when she sees the staff. Which is a big relief for us as she was a lockdown baby and is very shy. The manager and the team have been very accommodating and I feel confident in them looking after her. They provide lots of fun activities and we are always getting lovely updates. Nothing is too much trouble they are always willing to help and I would recommend the nursery.

He always has a good day at nursery coming home having enjoyed his day. They have been so supportive of our choice of reusable nappies and were also so reassuring the early days encouraging me to call after any tearful drop-offs to reassure myself that my son had cheered up. I feel confident with their care at all times. A special mention to some of the staff, I'm very grateful for your work!

Amazing nursery with fantastic staff, honestly couldn’t fault them. They are great with my son and he is coming on leaps and bounds with their support. They are so supportive with parents as well, always there for a chat if you have any worries or concerns, couldn’t have chosen a better nursery to help me bring up my son. Thank you all the staff.

Staff are brilliant, feels like a family. Care is tailored to each child individually with support for parents at home. Flexible with sessions wherever possible. Rooms are brilliantly set out with attractive displays and stimulating variety of activities espenially the 2-3 room. Social development is encouraged with great mealtime culture and healthy meals. Will be sorry when my children leave. Great culture of outdoor exercise and play.

I have just returned to work and my second child has completed their first week at the nursery. The manager and baby room staff have been amazing! They’ve been so attentive to my child during his trials and nominated care days and they have listened to and followed requests I have made. My baby uses cloth nappies and they have embraced this fully as he is not the first to do so! Plus they also have the added complication of food allergies to follow and they’ve been super attentive to this which has put me at ease greatly!

My daughter goes here one day a week, she is quite clingy to me so we have had our moments but the nursery staff have made us both feel at ease and now she runs to them for hugs in the morning which is just lovely to see and makes leaving her so much easier as I know she is in great hands. She is learning how to draw shapes and she is counting a lot more than before. This is a very calm nursery, the children are very well behaved and the staff cannot make you feel any more part of the family.

I heard a member of staff say to another member of staff here's thingies mum which I did not appreciate as my child has been here for a couple of years. I think teaching is very good my child has learnt a lot since being in the bigger class. She has become a more confident person and now she's a bit older she loves her class.

The team ay Holyrood Hope have looked after both my boys for the past 4 years. The team from babies have steeled both boys into the nursery with such love and warmth making it home from home. The support they showed with regards to our choices of baby led weaning, potty training and development give us confidence in our choice of nursery childcare. The manager unbelievably finds the time to know all the children and help share joint decisions of class moves and development. The preparation of early years and pre-school gave our eldest confidence in transition to primary school.

A very friendly and encouraging nursery. My daughters are thriving because they are stimulated and individual interests and needs are noticed, yet they aren't pushed. The staff are very caring and care the same ways I parent. They manage behaviour in a kind and positive way. I am always impressed and surprised at how my daughters develop.

My son started here when he had just turned one. The staff have been great with him and his younger brother who started in February. He has been taught all essential skills and his speech has come on leaps and bounds! He will miss all the staff and his friends that he's made throughout the three years.
