Holyrood Nursery Swinton is proud to be graded 'outstanding' by Ofsted in May 2018.

Holyrood nursery provides care for children from birth to five years of age throughout six large playrooms that are age-appropriate.

Each room provides quality resources in a stimulating environment. The nursery also has two rooms in which carers provide wrap-around care for a local school and a holiday club for children aged four to 11-years-old.

Holyrood also has a large outdoor space that has a sand and mud pit alongside a water pump that the children love to play with on a daily basis.

The nursery chef has been working with Holyrood since December 2005. Alongside making yummy food, she also enjoys covering in the rooms and her 'Cooking with Cath' sessions.

Children are central to all that staff do here so to make sure of this the nursery has a children’s committee, this allows the children to participate in decisions that will affect them at nursery.

The entire key person planning is based on the unique child principle taken from the EYFS document and this allows professionals to cater for and develop the child’s individual needs.

Holyrood provide a range of session patterns to suit all childcare needs including variable sessions, extra sessions and full-time discount.

My children have attended the nursery since being 3 months old. They now both use the out of school club. Fantastic nursery, very clean friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend this nursery! Well done Holyrood Nursery Swinton.

A very good nursery. The staff seen with a smile always. My son is very happy to be there.

The manager and the team are fantastic. They all clearly have passion for the job and the children are central to their day! My daughter always comes home with lots of exciting stories about the fantastic activities she has done that day! My daughter loves the nursery and I truly believe she is 100%
safe and happy there. I never worry about leaving her when I go to work.

Our daughters nursery have been wonderful; from the friendly staff to the ongoing improvements being made to the facilities. Both my wife and I feel our daughter has got good personal skills with other children, which she might not have, had she not been at nursery.
We see an improvement almost on
an daily basis and some of that is down to the brilliant staff of Holyrood Nursery (Swinton). Thank you.

Holyrood Swinton is amazing. I wouldn't send my son anywhere else. The staff are professional but very personable too. The facilities are brilliant especially after the recent refurbishment. As a parent my requirements are simple, a safe environment for my child with exceptional care but above all an enabling environment where my child can grow as an individual. Holyrood Swinton meets all these. I do not have to worry about my child because in just over a year he has developed exceptionally
well. The nursery is the epitome of cleanliness , the staff are polite, forthcoming and keep me well informed about his progress or what I can do to help with his development. The upgrades they have made outside are pretty wonderful and safe for children to play in. I am confident leaving my child all day because I know in my absence he won't miss me while he enjoys himself under the best care available. Thank you all, you do a wonderful job and I appreciate it .

My daughter has been going to Holyrood Swinton for three years and loves it there. She always asks to go even at weekend and loves all the staff especially the staff in the kitchen and loves the food that they cook. I will be very sad when she leaves in September as she has learnt a lot there. The refurbishment
looks great and my daughter loves it too.

The nursery was recommended to myself from a mum at school, I was not disappointed. From meeting the manager for the first time, she immediately put my mind at ease, welcoming me and my daughter to the nursery. Staff very friendly and accommodating, the recent works at the nursery are a fantastic addition
with amazing outdoor facilities. Excellent meals/snacks and I love the fact that the children selves themselves. Thank you and well done Holyrood Swinton.

Love this nursery will definitely be using it again in the future if I have any more children, my child wakes up happy wanting to go there everyday, I will be sad when he leaves there as he's been there a long time but I will be using the holiday club aswell.

Holyrood Swinton is an amazing Nursery. I love every aspect of it. Both my children have been here and currently my youngest goes to full time Nursery and my daughter comes to Holiday Club.
The activities, rooms, food and staff are 5 Star! I cannot recommend any higher.
I come to work knowing my
children are 100% safe and looked after. My children love attending Holyrood Swinton.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff they genuinely love and care for the children.
Your children spend a lot of hours at Nursery so to know they are having fun means so much.
