Holyrood Nursery Swinton is proud to be graded 'outstanding' by Ofsted in May 2018.

Holyrood nursery provides care for children from birth to five years of age throughout six large playrooms that are age-appropriate.

Each room provides quality resources in a stimulating environment. The nursery also has two rooms in which carers provide wrap-around care for a local school and a holiday club for children aged four to 11-years-old.

Holyrood also has a large outdoor space that has a sand and mud pit alongside a water pump that the children love to play with on a daily basis.

The nursery chef has been working with Holyrood since December 2005. Alongside making yummy food, she also enjoys covering in the rooms and her 'Cooking with Cath' sessions.

Children are central to all that staff do here so to make sure of this the nursery has a children’s committee, this allows the children to participate in decisions that will affect them at nursery.

The entire key person planning is based on the unique child principle taken from the EYFS document and this allows professionals to cater for and develop the child’s individual needs.

Holyrood provide a range of session patterns to suit all childcare needs including variable sessions, extra sessions and full-time discount.

My girl attends here and I was very nervous about her switching nurseries, however, it was a great decision. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly and always have time for us. My girl is very happy and I feel like the staff make every attempt to fully support my child. I recommend Holyrood Nursery

I am so pleased with Holyrood Nursery Swinton, my 18-month-old daughter absolutely loves it there. The staff are amazing, you can tell that they truly care about the children in the nursery. I can't thank them enough for making such a fuss of my daughter every morning when I drop her off, it puts both
me and her at ease and I can see how happy she is to see them! It is so reassuring to see how much they genuinely love their job. I also really appreciate that when I pick her up the staff take the time to give me feedback and detail about my daughter's day and her development. She is treated like an individual and I am so impressed with how much she is learning every day. The facilities are also great, particularly the outdoor garden area where the children are often making the most of the space.

Holywood Nursery provides a brilliant environment for our daughter. We have recently moved from another nursery to Holywood and her progress over the last three weeks have been amazing! The teachers are very kind, warm and loving to our daughter. She is having a great time here.

I am very pleased about my choice of Holyrood Nursery Swinton. All staff are so friendly, very good and very close to the kids. They seem to know every kid in nursery so make them feel like home! The nursery managers are excellent too! We always receive supports and have information in details for all
activities at nursery.
I wish the nursery would have an app where all parents can access and see only all images of their kids playing in nursery, also including sleeping time, meals they eat.

Holyrood Nursery and the management/staff are amazing!
They made us feel very welcome and settled from the minute we walked through the door. My daughter loves it and has come on in leaps and bounds. The nursery has lots of things and activities for the children, not to mention the fab gardens outside.
It’s very clean and bright inside.
Couldn’t be happier knowing I’m leaving my child in the capable hands of lovely people.

I take my 1-year-old to this nursery once a week and could not be happier with my choice.

Holyrood has been a blessing, it has helped my little girl so much in the few months she's been going. All the team there are so welcoming and fastly becoming my saviours. They help me with day to day knowledge and advice and are now my go-to people.
I can see how much my little girl loves each and
everyone she's come in contact with from the smile and joy on her face daily.

My eldest son attended this nursery before moving onto school a few years ago and when I had to choose where my second born son attended, there was no doubt in my mind. Having gotten to know the staff beforehand, I knew my 2nd born would be in extremely capable hands.
Since starting at Holyrood in
Clifton, my son has come on leaps and bounds, particularly with his speech, being able to speak in complete sentences after attending for a matter of weeks. I also saw first hand, his relationships with the staff blossoming and his confidence soaring.
A particular moment I will forever be thankful for is when we were going through a tough time at home and the staff, particularly the manager, went above and beyond to make sure that both myself and my son were ok. I will also be sending my daughter there once the time comes.

The team at Holyrood Swinton are exceptional. I have had two children attend the nursery in different capacities. I am confident they provide the best possible care. This is a fantastic nursery where both my nieces have attended from being small babies right up to after school & holiday clubs. The staff here are fantastic and work very hard day In day out. The management is exceptional and extremely professional. My nieces love coming to the nursery where they
progress academically on a level that is second to none.
