I moved my son to this nursery when we moved house, he never really settled into his old nursery and used to get upset at drop off but after 2 weeks at Holyrood he started going in confidently. All the staff are brilliant, especially Dawn, Demi & Amanda who my son loves! They are always doing lots of different activities and get to spend plenty of time outside which was important to me. They have lots of outdoor space with different climbing frames and things to explore which my son loves. The support we have got with potty training has been brilliant. There are lots of varied meals and the updates I get on the parent app are great. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking in the area.

Cannot speak highly enough of this fantastic nursery! My son has the time of his life every day and is always full of smiles and stories when he comes home. The farm animals this month were a particular favourite and the effort the team put in to make sure the kids have fun experiences and learn important life skills at the same time is outstanding. You can see a mile off how much they all adore the kids and working at Holyrood. I will be absolutely gutted when my son leaves for primary school this year. Team Holyrood - you are the BEST!

I cannot thank them enough for being such an amazing nursery & having such great facilities!

My child started preschool during a period of significant family change with the arrival of a new sibling. The staff, including management, have been consistently patient, kind and supportive, especially during emotional moments. They are honest and fair in their communication, openly discussing challenges while also celebrating achievements and positive behaviour. Staff have shown genuine care through creative learning activities, thoughtful support during stay-and-play sessions, and practical help at pick-up times, often going above and beyond to support both children and parents. Their warmth, humour and consistency have helped my children feel secure, confident and ready to learn. They have also sensitively supported medical and toileting needs without fuss, maintaining dignity& reassurance. Managers are totally dedicated, approachable, EXTREMELY hands-on& professional.

My daughter has been attending Holyrood Swinton for 2 years and she absolutely loves it there. Every day she comes home having learned or experienced something new. The nursery keeps me up to date daily with her activities and posts regular pictures of what she's been doing. The staff are absolutely amazing and cannot speak highly enough of them; they all go above and beyond and are always there to answer any questions or concerns I may have. My daughter is always talking about her friends and staff at the nursery and goes in with a smile every day because she knows how much fun she is going to have. I would not hesitate to recommend them and I am so thankful I sent her there.

Both my children have attended Holyrood Swinton, my daughter started in 2020 and my son in 2024. Both absolutely love nursery, the staff are amazing.

My son has Down Syndrome and the staff have and do go above and beyond to make sure he has the support he needs and is included in everything the other children are despite his developmental differences to his peers.

Staff are always approachable and take on board our suggestions and our preferences when it it comes to our sons care. They have engaged with Sign -a-lng for him to aid communication, grown sunflowers, do odd sock days. We couldn't ask for more.

A wonderful nursery, with amazing staff, I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.

The nursery provides a warm, nurturing environment and communication with parents has always been excellent. It's clear that the team works hard to create a safe and happy place for children to thrive.

My daughter moved to Holyrood in January 2026 from being with a childminder for the previous 7 months, Holyrood ensured her transition into an environment with more children was smooth. She has gained so much confidence with the ladies and peers within the baby room, exploring different activities, food and environment. The staff at Holyrood have been particularly 10/10 when it has come down to some ongoing issues I have had. These has been personal issues with my daughter struggling with food, the full team in the baby room along with the management staff have ensured I have been updated daily and adapted her meals to help. Each member of staff greets you at drop off and collection on a personal level, and no question is never too much. The parent portal is updated on a regular basis showing food, nappies and activities. I really cannot wait to continue our journey with Holyrood until we reach school age.

Holyrood truly is an amazing nursery. As first-time parents, we were so nervous about leaving our daughter, but we really didn't need to be. It's a relaxed, nurturing environment that reassures both children and parents. I always felt calm and confident leaving her in their capable care.

The babies team and management are wonderful - so warm and welcoming. In the 7 months she attended, our daughter came on in leaps and bounds. Unfortunately, we moved house and Holyrood became too far away.

At drop-off and pick-up, staff always listened and provided detailed updates - especially Donna in babies, who gave a lovely rundown of each day. The education is phenomenal and shines through in the children. The app updates, including regular photos, are a joy to receive.

We're still so sad to have left such a fantastic nursery.

I wish we had found this little gem sooner!

Since my son started nursery, it's been a great experience for him. He is thriving and has grown in confidence since joining in May. We were talking about how much a particular member of staff has impacted my sons time at nursery which in turn has made us parents feel so content and welcomed here. We love this staff member as much as he does!! A massive thank you to her for impacting our lives in such a positive way.

I made a great choice in sending my kid to Holyrood Nursery and thanks a lot to the entire staff and management.

In my opinion the most important thing about a nursery is that you can trust them with your kids. You can absolutely do that here. Apart from that, of course my kids have been having so much fun as they have different activities. Food arrangement is good as well.

My daughter has attended this nursery for two months, she has settled in well already and smiles going into the nursery. Communication is fantastic I am always kept up to date with what my child is doing throughout the day via the nursery app. The staff are lovely! Management is so proactive in replying to any emails/queries and seems to be actively involved within the rooms supporting staff with the children which is great to see. The nursery is clean, and warm and has a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend this nursery as soon as I looked around it I knew I wanted my daughter to attend. It is also a great benefit that the nursery offers a 10% NHS discount as this is a good amount of the bill thank you!

The variety of activities at the nursery is also really impressive. I love that they have taken time to see what things she individually likes to do, making her as happy and settled as possible. The staff are nurturing professionals and I cannot praise them enough, thank you Holyrood!

It's nice to see so many staff to a room. Something that not all nurseries have and it really shows. The kids are so happy and well taken care of.

Our son loves this nursery. He is always happy to go there. The staff are all amazing and they genuinely care about the children they look after. They constantly keep us updated with meals, sleeps and activities throughout the day. I have no issues with the nursery and would highly recommend them
