Holyrood Nursery Castleton

One happy mum.

When my daughter started at this nursery she was very delayed on her speech, with the help and encouragement of the amazing staff she has caught up in 6 months. She is constantly surprising me with new words. She is also always super excited to go and to tell me about her day which I take as a sign of an amazing nursery. They have healthy meals which even a picky eater would love. They have an amazing relationship with us as parents and always make sure they can do everything they can to support our child to the fullest.

Friendly, nurturing staff. My child enjoys coming to nursery and her speech, motor skills and development are coming along really well.

The support, care and dedication they have given to not just my child but us as a family too has been invaluable. The SEND support is exceptional and they are always supporting his needs, nothing is ever too much and they are not just like this for my child, I see this every day with how attentive they are to every single child they have. I wish we could take them all along with us on his transition to school!

Cannot fault this nursery, my son has come on leaps and bounds since starting at the nursery a year ago. He really enjoys his time there and tells me who he plays with, what he’s been doing and what songs he’s been singing with a big smile on his face. The staff are lovely and always so welcome and helpful. I’d recommend this nursery to anyone.

My three year old daughter goes there three days a week and she has so much fun. The staff are absolutely amazing in terms of interacting with the each individual child's needs. The nursery is nice, clean and tidy. My daughter enjoys this nursery compared to her previous ones which I am very pleased with. If you're looking for a place for your child then I would definitely recommend you go and visit the nursery for yourself.

My experience with Holyrood Day Nursery Castleton. He's been nothing but positive. My daughter loves this nursery and her learning and development has progressed so much with all the support the children have from staff. Also, the staff are helpful in anyway possible including help with paperwork student finance.

Our son has attended since 2014, he loves this nursery. He loves it here. Each year has been brilliant. Very accommodating, helpful, clean, tidy and full of smiles.

Having twins with 2 different personalities the staff have been amazing at treating them all as individuals. They have both learnt so much, grown in confidence and we are both more confident with the school move. They have loved every minute here.

My grandson has come on leaps and bounds since coming. Singing, dancing and being more independent. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the nursery is lovely inside and well taken care of.

I would say my overall review is good. The reasons I would say they could do better is more outdoor trips. I am aware if teacher/child ratio but I am sure myself and others would volunteer. I also think extra activities such as dance/language would be good.

Holyrood is fantastic for its range of indoor and outdoor activities. My daughter started several months ago and has really enjoyed every session since. It makes me really happy listening to all the wonderful things that she has been involved in.
