Holyrood Nursery Castleton

My daughter has been attending Holyrood Day Nursery Castleton since August 2019, and she loves it. Her development is so good, the staff are amazing, and she loves them all. They recently carried out a transition day for all parents whose children were moving to the next room. It gave parents the chance to see the room and meet their child's key worker. It was a brilliant idea and certainly put us at ease, knowing the transition into the next room would go smoothly for our daughter.

Food - could ve more healthy (for example porridge for breakfast instead of toast and cereals) and less spicy.

Great nursery. Both my children have attended Holyrood Day Nursery Castleton. My son still attends and loves his time in the nursery. All the staff are amazing, and he has learnt a lot during his time here.

My son seems happy and settled at nursery, engaging his time with staff and friends. I appreciate the 'courtesy calls' to keep me informed if there has been an accident.

Staff at Holyrood Day Nursery Castleton are consistently brilliant. Our child has thrived under the care of the staff and particularly her keyworker. Both of our children have been very happy here.

We couldn't ask for a better nursery for our son. He absolutely loves Holyrood Day Nursery. He's gone since he was nine-months-old and has developed so much since then. His confidence has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are all brilliant, they encourage and support him without pushing too much. As parents, we couldn't ask for more or a better environment for our son. The staff, the range of facilities, the food, everything is brilliant. We can't praise you all enough, and we appreciate it all so much. Thank you.

Since my son starting here in September, he's doing great. He comes out happy and is always singing a new song he's learnt. He loves the staff and they are great, always giving feedback when he's picked up on how he's been that day, what he's been doing and how much he's eaten. Staff are always cleaning when I turn up and all kids always look happy. I'm very happy I chose this nursery for my son to go to.

Great nursery, fabulous staff. I will be sad to see my little boy leave in September. He’s been at the nursery since he was 9 months. He’s confidence, development has come on leaps and bounds. I can’t thank the nursery enough.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for over a year now. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. They have helped my daughter grow so much, her confidence has blossomed, her language skills and communication are excellent now, I can not thank them enough. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone in the area.

I'm really happy with how the girls and the nursery as a whole have been with my daughter all the girls are amazing with her and make her feel comfy and settled. She really loves them. I would recommend this nursery to anybody as its the best one I have come across. My daughter has come on so well since being here.

My Sons time at Holyrood Castleton is coming to an end as he starts primary school in September. He’s been at Holyrood since he was 18months old. I don’t have a bad word to say about the nursery or staff. My son has always been shy and the staff have always made him feel welcome. I’ve watched how quickly nursery has helped him progress to him being able to near enough write his own name to him being able to pour his own drinks and serve his own lunch. There are always regular updates on your child’s development and opportunities to express any concerns you have. And most of all Holyrood makes nursery fun for the children, my son is always bringing something home that he’s made/ drawn. And I will be putting my daughter in from September

My son as a 3-year-old loves everything about nursery - there’s so much to do and learn, he loves the food, the themed activities, the chance to make friends across the rooms not just in his own age group. The staff are very thoughtful and always go that extra mile - I couldn’t ask for anymore.

We can't thank the ladies from the toddler group enough, they are doing a wonderful job!

My little girl has attended Holyrood since she was 6 months old I don’t have a bad word to say about the nursery. My little girl has learnt so much and made so many good relationships with the staff and children, all the staff are fantastic friendly and easy to approach with any queries or questions I will be sad to see my little girl leave in September!.

My little boy has been there since he was 8months old, he absolutely loves it and had grown up so much, he learns so much from nursery. The girls are amazing and I couldn’t leave him every day if they weren’t so great with him. I’m so glad I choose this nursery. I’m grateful for all the girls who look after my little boy and don’t mind me ringing up to check on him :)

My child attended nursery when she was a toddler and is now currently in preschool since then her cognitive and language development has improved and is improving to a good standard. Her confidence level has also improved and loves gaining attention. Teachers have a good understanding with parents and management. Good diverse culture and a good range of knowledge have been learned within the milestones.

A fantastic nursery with lovely staff. My two-year-old is always excited to come to nursery which is a great peace of mind, knowing you're leaving them somewhere they are excited to be. She has also learnt so much whilst being here and loves to get messy with the paint. All staff are approachable and I'm glad we've been coming to this nursery for the last 12 months! The staff make you feel very confident and comfortable with leaving your child in their care, my child enjoys going to nursery and has come on and developed very very quickly. My second child will also be joining this nursery in a couple of months.

My child loves this nursery, she always comes out happy and tells me what she done in the day and what she has eaten! She gets up in the morning wanting to go and play with friends and learn.

She is always happy.
