Holyrood Nursery has been brilliant for my son! He didn't attend any nursery setting until he started in September 2025 and he absolutely loves it! My son has additional needs and since starting at nursery he has come on leaps and bounds! His social skills are amazing, his ability to listen and
follow instructions has improved greatly and his speech is now starting to come on too! The staff are so wonderful and patient and keep my son engaged with many fun activities. This nursery is brilliant for any child with additional needs. The SENCO has started to put in place everything for my son for his diagnosis and continues to put things in place to help my son grow and learn at his pace. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. Thank you to all the wonderful staff, you mean a lot to me and my little boy!

My son has been at the nursery for over 18 months now and loves it. He had trouble settling in at first but all the staff have been brilliant in helping him. He is now settled in the toddler room and has made lots of friends.

Overall review of Holyrood Nurserey since my son started he's improved in motor skills & also when he started he only said a couple of words now he's saying full sentences with understanding also every one that works there are so happy,always greet us at the door,my child has formed bonds with
staff members not just children and that's great to see that everybody is included.we always get updates on meals and accidents and that's a great way to stay in-touch throughout the day.im so happy and proud of my son & staff since starting holyrood.

My son attends Holyrood Castleton nursery and has a great relationship with all staff. They manage all of his needs and are effective in helping him learn and grow. They are caring and quick to respond in any situation. I am very happy with how my son has settled and being cared for by all staff at
the nursery. Thank you, much appreciated!

My daughter attends the nursery and smiles every day walking in! She has had the best settling-in period and the nursery staff are all so kind and welcoming. The girls in the baby room worked really hard to make sure she settled in well and I'm very happy with everything so far. Especially the new
meals she has been having a very good variety of foods.

Excellent nursery my son has attended from 9 months old and now he is turning 2 this summer, all the staff are lovely and my son thoroughly enjoys going to nursery, he has developed so much with the help of the girls and the activities they carry out. Would recommend 10/10. It’s always been a safe
and friendly environment that I have felt at ease leaving my son at such a young age! Thank you all!

I would just like to say how impressed we have been at the improvements made in the nursery in the past 6 months or so. My child has made so much progress with our child’s development and getting him ready for school in September and has built a great parent partnership with us to bring Our son on
in areas he struggles with such as recognising his name and recognising numbers. Almost every day we are able to see observations on the app and our child’s meals are uploaded now daily which works much better for us as a working family to see what he has eaten. Overall we feel Holyrood Castleton is the best place for our son and preparing him for school.

My daughter loves her time at Holyrood. She has grown and thrived during her time there. I find the staff very friendly and approachable.

My daughter has been attending Holyrood Nursery Castleton for two full days a week for the past two years and absolutely loves going! She regularly talks about the fun she has with her friends and staff. The staff have been brilliant throughout, very professional, friendly and always available to
have a chat about our daughter if needed. In terms of management, they are also always on hand to answer any questions and have accommodated our childcare needs very well, allowing us to change the day our daughter attends due to our work commitments. The app is also used very well and we love to receive photos via it with updates on how our daughter's day is progressing. We have no reservations and only praise the nursery, from the people who work there to the variety of food that is served. Our second child will be joining our daughter there! Many thanks and keep up the good work!

Very welcoming, friendly staff, good facilities. All activities for every age group. No problem too small. The manager runs the nursery very well.

The communication between staff and parents is amazing and the app is working really well to be able to see growth in the children is great, really well used.

Both my children have attended Holyrood Nursery Castleton, I would not pick elsewhere If I had a third child! They have given my children the best possible start and when they are in nursery, the children are provided with interesting and stimulating activities. Staff help to progress my children on
any areas of concern e.g. my son is struggling with his tripod grip ready for school, so the nursery engaged him with fine motor skill activities to help him.

My daughter has spent the last 4 years at Holyrood.
She has made lots of friends and become very fond of the staff in every room.
She will miss everyone!
She has loved learning and growing in the environment.
She will be sad to go.
