Tiddlywinks Nursery Blackley

My daughter went to Tiddlywinks a few years ago and learnt grown and blossomed here. I would always recommend to anyone looking for a nursery and I have now returned with my new baby! He has settled in so well and so quickly considering how anxious he has always been as a child. Can't thank the staff enough!

My son started Tiddlywinks Nursery in April 2024. Since starting the nursery he has come on so much with his development and most definitely with his speech and language. The staff at the nursery have always been so polite and professional and are always available for any support when needed. Me, my family and especially my child have always been made to feel so welcome by all staff. His journal is always updated so while I'm at work I can see how he is being at nursery which I really enjoy. I couldn't thank the staff enough for all their hard work and dedication to the children and families. I'm just so glad I did pick Tiddlywinks as my son's nursery I couldn't have picked a better nursery. Thank you all for everything you do.

Amazing nursery, my nephew has been coming here since November 2023 when he started settling. He has always been treated with the utmost care and support from all staff in the nursery. Whenever I have been in the nursery it has been a lovely homely environment where the staff have great bonds with the children and the parents, the professionalism of the staff is bang on but they also know how to make you feel comfortable and cheer you up when leaving your child in their care. Whilst my nephew has been in Tiddlywinks care he has come on leaps and bounds in every aspect he has come out of his shell and is a lot more confident and independent, he also has progressed lots in his communication and understanding. All in all, I cannot fault the experience I have had with Tiddlywinks the pure comfort and trust I have when I do drop him off at nursery makes the world of difference and knowing my nephew treats it as a second home is heartwarming. Perfect place for him!

My daughter has been attending Tiddlywinks since she was one and is now 3. She's gone through the baby room, Tweenies and now in preschool. She's always loved going to nursery and had great relationships and bonds with staff. I have always felt happy with her being here - everyone is lovely and keeps you up to date always.

I can't thank everyone enough for giving us such a positive experience and I look forward to seeing my child come on even more leaps and bounds.

Our oldest child went to the Crumpsall branch first so when we had our second child we knew which nursery brand to send our child. We sent our second to Blackley. The team that supports our child cares for him. Helpful and approachable about any concerns. We would recommend this nursery every time!

Standards have slipped since my son started at that nursery, and app updates are sparse. There has been a huge staff turnaround and regularly my son leaves with missing clothes and sore bum from lack of attention to toilet care.

My daughter is thriving at nursery, every day she comes home she has learnt something new. The staff are very friendly and professional. She is so excited since starting pre-school and she’s forever telling me how she has the best day up the stairs.

The staff at Tiddlywinks are amazing! They never fail to make me and my baby welcome! They go above and beyond wherever they can! I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough! My son has developed so much since starting here!

Amazing nursery, the staff always go above and beyond. My toddler has Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and this nursery has brought him on so much. The nursery is always clean and has so much equipment for the children to enjoy and improve on their development. The staff are very patient, caring and kind which the children do feel making it such a happy place, especially for my child who loves it there.

It’s a brilliant place for anyone to take their child/children. I would highly recommend the nursery to anybody who is anxious about leaving their child. The staff go above and beyond and the new manager is always more than happy to help in a timely manner. I have nothing bad to say about the nursery. My son has attended since he was 9 months old and has just become a preschooler.

My son recently started this nursery ladies massive help through all stages whether it was to do with the settling-in process or paperwork! would highly recommend and look forward to my son's progression through the year to come.

Cannot fault the professionalism and friendliness of the whole team at the nursery. From day one we have seen the confidence and growth of our child. His learning skills and abilities are definitely more advanced than they would be without their guidance.

I couldn’t be any happier with the care and support my son receives at nursery. I have noticed such positive changes in him, he is much more confident and is thriving. I love the constant updates and the photos to see how he is doing throughout the day. I will definitely be telling family and friends looking for a nursery in the near future.

A few occasions I had to go into nursery due to the lack of care for my child including not having her nappy changed enough to the point she kept getting sore. On one occasion I was standing outside the building waiting to pick my child up and I heard a member of staff screaming at my child which was followed by her crying hysterically she was only 2 years old at the time (action was apparently taken but it should not have happened in the first place as it’s supposed to be a professional environment not every child responds well to shouting) there were a few more things that added up to not be the best experience it could have been. Having said that the manager of the nursery at the time was very understanding and any problem I had she did take on board and the issues were dealt with. Some positives did come out of the experience my daughter created some lovely bonds with certain members of staff and children.

Tiddlywinks Nursery is a fantastic setting. We have used this nursery for both of our girls. The staff have really helped them bloom from babies into the little people they are becoming. We would recommend this nursery.

Tiddlywinks Blackley has an excellent standard of care, I feel confident leaving my son knowing he’s going to be looked after throughout the day.

My daughter goes to the nursery in higher Blackley it is a lovely setting and she has settled in and has come on with everything. She will be sad when she leaves in July. Many thanks to the staff for helping her to grow.
