Tiddlywinks Nursery at Hill Lane Blackley has been established since September 1994, with over 30 years as a family run business.

The nursery provides care for children aged from four months to five-years-old.
Tiddlywinks Hill Lane has a homely feel. It is a warm, safe and stimulating environment in which children can explore, learn and develop.

The nursery garden has been refurbished and now has an amazing play environment for children which includes a new safety surface, pagoda, astroturf area, a marvellous mud kitchen and several planters where the nursery will be growing herbs, vegetables and flowers.

I couldn't ask for a better nursery for my son to attend, always lovely and friendly staff, my son always comes home with a huge smile on his face, if I have an issue I can feel comfortable in speaking to any of the staff to resolve this

My little girl has loved being at Tiddlywinks since she was 1 and is coming up to age 4 now. Everyone is brilliant with her and you can tell a lot of time and effort goes into planning the curriculum.

Tiddlywinks is hands down the best nursery! My daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old, and the care she receives is amazing. The staff always keep me updated on what she's been doing, and they put so much effort into planning activities that are not only fun but also support her development.


Now

that she's 2, I've really noticed the difference. I was initially worried about her speech, but since joining, her communication has improved so quickly - it's incredible to see how much progress she's made.


Today, I logged onto the app and saw the cutest pictures of her with her hair all plaited - she looked adorable! It's the little things like this that show just how much they genuinely care. The love and attention they give is second to none, and I always feel reassured knowing she's in such a warm and supportive environment. I couldn't recommend them more.

My daughter has attended Tiddlywinks Nursery for the second year. The Nursery creates a harmonious and warm environment for my daughter, She enjoys her time playing and learning there and is excited

Tiddlywinks is a great nursery, all the staff are so friendly and polite, always so helpful. My little boy has come on so much since attending the nursery, I originally put my son in nursery has I am worried about his speech and my HV advised me to put him in nursery, and honestly it's the best thing
iv done. He loves going nursery. I love how the staff keep me updated on his day - IE updates on what he has been up to, what he has had for his dinner etc. the staff have been so helpful for us both with his speech delay and helping me on to the right path to get my son the support he needs and I can't thank them enough.

Tiddlywinks on Hill Lane is a fabulous nursery, both my children went/go here and I always felt confident my children are/were looked after. The meals are great, a lot of variation and they are planned weeks in advance.
Staff are always friendly and helpful they keep me informed of my son's day on
the app i.e., what he's learning, observations, food, sleep and pictures of him playing.

The team at the Tiddlywinks Nursery in Blackley have always been helpful, polite and friendly.
They always have the children's welfare and learning as top priority and have been great at helping my son bring on his speech with the waiting list for speech therapy being so long.
They do a wide range
of activities and each term focus on a different author and artist really developing the children's experience.
My son loves going each day and I have no worry in the service of care being provided,
Since the new mangement have taken over it really has been a great nursery with communication and the family app being used the best it can. Staff in the whole nursery are very welcoming and make it feel like a second home.

My granddaughter has been at the setting now for 4 months and although only one year old she gets excited to go to nursery. She has a really good bond with her key person and all the staff give 100% to all the children to make sure they are having the best fun and also making they feel safe and secure.
As a grandparent who lives miles away it is so nice to see photos and observations on how my granddaughter is getting on and even how she is eating and sleeping. She has come on so much already and that is down not only to wonderful parents but also to the dedication of all the staff team. I huge thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my granddaughter so happy and having lots of fun whilst learning.

I was very nervous sending my daughter to nursery due to her additional needs and a previous bad experience at a different nursery but so far everything has been perfect. My daughter absolutely loves her days in and it has been so lovely seeing her interact and play with her key worker who takes care
of her so brilliantly. They have an amazing app which the nursery uploads pictures from and it is very reassuring. I am now sending my second toddler and I have no doubt she will settle in just as fast. All the staff here are amazing in general and are always on hand when you need anything. I don't think I could have picked a better nursery!

Today we visited the nursery for the bonfire-themed stay and play. It was so lovely to see our child in his nursery setting, playing with his favourite toys and interacting with his key worker, other members of staff and the other children. The activities that were set out were bonfire-themed, and our
child was so excited to get involved in them. The session was really well thought out, it was lovely to see all staff including the kitchen staff getting involved. It was a lovely atmosphere and we really enjoyed the opportunity to participate.

My child started Tiddlywinks in early October 2024 at 11 months old. From the minute I rang to look around I instantly got a lovely feeling which only got better, the team are absolutely amazing and keeps me updated frequently. Couldn't recommend enough.

My son started Tiddlywinks Nursery in April 2024. Since starting the nursery he has come on so much with his development and most definitely with his speech and language. The staff at the nursery have always been so polite and professional and are always available for any support when needed. Me, my
family and especially my child have always been made to feel so welcome by all staff. His journal is always updated so while I'm at work I can see how he is being at nursery which I really enjoy. I couldn't thank the staff enough for all their hard work and dedication to the children and families. I'm just so glad I did pick Tiddlywinks as my son's nursery I couldn't have picked a better nursery. Thank you all for everything you do.

Amazing nursery, my nephew has been coming here since November 2023 when he started settling. He has always been treated with the utmost care and support from all staff in the nursery. Whenever I have been in the nursery it has been a lovely homely environment where the staff have great bonds with the
children and the parents, the professionalism of the staff is bang on but they also know how to make you feel comfortable and cheer you up when leaving your child in their care. Whilst my nephew has been in Tiddlywinks care he has come on leaps and bounds in every aspect he has come out of his shell and is a lot more confident and independent, he also has progressed lots in his communication and understanding. All in all, I cannot fault the experience I have had with Tiddlywinks the pure comfort and trust I have when I do drop him off at nursery makes the world of difference and knowing my nephew treats it as a second home is heartwarming. Perfect place for him!

My daughter has been attending Tiddlywinks since she was one and is now 3. She's gone through the baby room, Tweenies and now in preschool. This is my first child and first experience with a nursery. When my child started I was very very anxious, the manager and the ladies in the baby room have been so supportive every step of the way, they keep me updated during the day letting me know how my child is doing even with photos at times.
It's
so amazing to see my child's key worker and my child have such a special bond in such a short space of time. The progress in every aspect is so obvious to see.
I can't thank everyone enough for giving us such a positive experience and I look forward to seeing my child come on even more leaps and bounds.

Our oldest child went to the Crumpsall branch first so when we had our second child we knew which nursery brand to send our child. We sent our second to Blackley. The team that supports our child cares for him. Helpful and approachable about any concerns. We would recommend this nursery every time!

Amazing nursery and staff, always been brilliant with my little boy and made him feel comfortable and safe. They have always gone above and beyond to put my mind at ease with regular updates and photos.
