Stepping Stones Day Nursery - Worsley

We're incredibly happy with the nursery and the care our son receives. The staff in babies (and throughout the nursery) are warm, attentive, and clearly dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children. It's wonderful to see how much he enjoys going each day and how much he's learning and developing. Communication with parents is always clear and reassuring, which gives us great peace of mind. We truly appreciate all the hard work the team puts in and would highly recommend the nursery to other families.

Amazing staff and excellent facilities. Really happy with the progress my daughter has shown over the years. The teachers at the Nursery are very professional, can't thank them enough. Highly recommended!

My son absolutely loves going to nursery as soon as he gets through the door he puts his hands up to be picked up by the practitioner working at the time whoever they are which shows the great relationship he has formed with each of the staff members. He has developed so much since being there whether that's been learning new words or practising motor skills. What's really useful Is that the nursery send regular updates via the app and we can send them to so that there's a complete picture of his development and his learning can be supplemented at nursery hand at home. He's not even two yet and we are already going to our second parents evening, which I think showcases the level of care and detail they go into. We chose this nursery because they clearly have a plan that they articulate as to how they support young children to develop in a structured way whilst also giving the child the space and freedom to be a curious young mind.

We are so happy with this nursery. We couldn't ask for nicer staff who we really feel genuinely care for our child and want the best for her. From day one, we have felt so welcomed and there is always someone to help with anything and answer our questions. It's like we are part of a family. Since starting this nursery, our little one has really flourished and thrived, developing in all areas amazingly well. That is thanks the dedicated staff.

Everyone at Stepping Stones is just wonderful. All the staff go above and beyond ensuring we know our child is being well looked after, educated, and has lots of fun! Our son loves going to nursery in the morning and is certainly fed well (the food smells amazing!).

We are very happy with Stepping Stone Day Nursery Worsley. My son is settling very well and enjoys going there. The team and teachers are very kind and supportive. Their happy faces make my son even happier every day.

My daughter has also been with them since 2021, and we have always had a great experience. Thank you to the wonderful team for taking such good care of our children.

Going back to work has been a lot easier knowing that my little boy loves attending nursery so much. They always plan just fun things to do and he is a big fan of all the food he gets. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to make sure he has an amazing day everyday.

My Son goes to Stepping Stones currently and all my children have also gone through nursery there through to pre-school (2 girls and 1 boy). We have loved every step of our journey with the manager and the team and we'll be very sad in the future when we won't be going through the nursery doors. My son currently is in pre-school and he loves it. He's been slightly delayed with his speech development but management and the team have gone above and beyond to keep us informed and help us to work with them at home to help my son flourish. He's come on leaps and bounds and he happily walks into pre-school. Every-time we pick him up the smile on his face is from ear to ear. Stepping Stones Worsley is not just a nursery, the manager has continued to make it feel like you are part of a big family and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone in the area. A real asset to Boothstown.

Both of my children started at this nursery after already attending a different nursery, they both settled in so well and developed such good relationships with the staff over the last 6 months. I'm really pleased with my children's routines here at stepping stones and all the activities they get up to. The staff are so warm and welcoming and nothings ever to much trouble.

My daughter absolutely loves her time at nursery which speaks volumes to us, she's always excited to tell us what she's been up to in her day and what she's been learning, and often talks about the staff even on a weekend which shows the bonds she has with all of the staff throughout the nursery. The staff all go above and beyond to meet each child's individual needs and are so supportive and informative to parents. The various learning opportunities, fun, meals and outdoor activities are amazing and more importantly the children always seem so happy and content in nursery. We are so pleased that we chose Stepping Stones and have had the best experience

Communication is the key and I feel Stepping Stones excel in this both verbally and electronically.

We are still new at the nursery having joined this February 2025. Our son is enjoying his stay at the nursery. The employees are friendly and welcoming. I like the creativity I have experienced so far. I also like the flow of communication so far.

We've been very happy with our experience of Stepping Stones Day Nursery so far. We are very impressed with the variety of activities they put on for the children and the huge number of toys and games they have to play with. Our daughter seems to really love it there and we feel this is because the staff really make a huge effort to make her feel not just comfortable but actually cared for and loved. We would strongly recommend this nursery to anyone in the area looking to send their child to a trustworthy, caring and fun environment where they can grow and thrive!

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent with the children, they take the time to know each child and really understand them and develop close bonds with them. Always a thorough run through the day when we pick them up and advise of anything we might need to know about their day.

He is now thriving in his speech and from this his confidence in interacting with staff and peers is clear. Our son has started to inform us about his activities at nursery and has been so enthusiastic about the activity that he has gained an understanding of the body that we have continued with this learning with new books from home. This shows how creative and stimulating the activity sessions are and my son has gained more vocabulary and an understanding of science at a young age. The staff commented on how his confidence has grown and that he is aware of his interests and needs. All of his learning at Stepping Stones will prepare him for reception at school.

Both our children have thrived at Stepping Stones and we'd recommend it to anyone.
