Partou Little Acorns Day Nursery & Pre-school

Our daughter loves going to nursery at Little Acorns. The nursery staff know our daughter really well and she always talks about the staff and other children when she is at home. The variety of activities they take part in during the day is brilliant- and it has really helped our daughter to develop in every way. They really do care about the children and their development.

Our Son attended Little Acorns from 6months old. Due to health issues he was taken out for a short while but returned in January 17 - thankfully (and quite unusually) they had space to take him back as I wouldn’t have wanted him to go anywhere else!! The setting is amazing and the staff, from key workers through to management are a real credit to the nursery. Our Son has needed additional support in a number of areas and nothing has ever been too much trouble, in fact, we’ve had fantastic support from Tracy and the team. Keep up the fantastic work...

My little boy has been so well looked after during his time at Little Acorns. His ability has been nurtured and encouraged, never would I have believed he'd be speaking so much of a second language already. The staff are amazing they teach the children so much but look after them so well.

My daughter started attending at 10 months old and is now 27 months old. As parents we go to work with total ease of mind & our little girl just loves her "school". She has transitioned through the rooms based on her abilities and not just age. The staff in each room are so caring and kind and build genuine relationships with the kids. I do not have a bad word to say about the nursery, we all love it and would recommend it to anyone. Although it is slightly more expensive in comparison to other nurseries close by, it's worth every bit of it.

Your staff are so engaged with the care of my children and all my children have been happy here. There is always a range of activities provided to all the children and the staff are keen to get involved. The staff are approachable and always interested in what my children have been up to outside of nursery. I would always recommend this nursery.

I am very happy with Little Acorns Private Day Nursery Atherton and have never had any concerns. My daughter attended nursery here and my son is in his final few months before school. I love hearing about my son’s days as he has so much fun - he especially loves the Just Nature days which I think are a fabulous idea. The staff are lovely and I have already recommended this nursery to friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to continue doing so.

Little Acorns nursery is fantastic. They have an amazing outdoor and indoor space for all sorts of activities and our daughter loves going. The staff are outstanding and always give every child their attention and care. We would definitely recommend this nursery.

The setting feels homely and welcoming and I would (and have done) recommend Little Acorns to family and friends.

My child cannot wait to get into nursery and has built up amazing relationships with the staff within the infant room. He is always greeted with smiles and comfort and I feel nothing but happy in regards to my son's care. His development whilst being here has been amazing, his speech has come on so well and I cannot wait to see him develop even more!

Our second daughter is now attending nursery here after our first daughter left to go to school in September last year. All the staff are really friendly and helpful and our youngest has settled really well. As they get older, the trips and outing and activities are great. Our youngest will be here now until she also starts school in another couple of years.

I can’t recommend Little Acorns Nursery enough! Since my little girl started at 8 months old I’ve been nothing but happy with the care she has received! She’s currently 20 months old in the infant room and each week she comes home asking for her teachers. The girls in the room go above and beyond when looking after her and planning so many fun and exciting activities. Each evening I pick her up, I’m told all about her day and how she has developed each week and what they are going to be working on next! I feel so at ease leaving her in the mornings, I couldn’t trust anyone more. Thank you so much!

The just nature days are brilliant and the Spanish/French lessons. It is also time-saving for a working parent that you have the facility to take the children swimming. I also like the look of the new computer room and my child has already said she enjoys it.

All of the staff are caring and knowledgeable and have a real personal connection with the children which is lovely to see.

This is a very good nursery, I believe the best in the area. The staff are engaging and offer lots of encouragement to the children. My son enjoys going to nursery and the various methods in which they learn through play. The food always smells delicious and the nursery cook is also friendly and I've been told by my son that the food is yummy. My son enjoys spending time outside in the fantastic garden space and I feel it is good that they offer French and Swimming as extra activities.

Most of the staff I have encountered are easy to speak with and discipline and offer praise to children fairly. I do feel that more training could be given to staff to encourage different ways of bringing up what they feel are issues or problems. All the rooms in the nursery seem clean and tidy and up to date with age appropriate materials. I feel that my son is safe when left in nursery and I am happy to recommend this nursery to others.

Both my children have gone to Little Acorns Private Day Nursery, Atherton. We are extremely happy with all aspects of care provided and have confidence in the staff and management. We feel they pay particular attention to the development of the children and help them to progress to be school ready by the time they leave. Highly recommended.

I have never had any issues with my child at this nursery. He has been attending for almost 18 months and he loves it. The staff have bonded really well with him and care about his education and welfare. My son is thriving at nursery and enjoys playing with staff and other children. I'm so glad we decided on this nursery for our child and would recommend it to anyone.

Great nursery. Lovely caring staff. Great range of activities for preschool including swimming and French. Good food and a varied menu. Really helpful with toilet training which was much appreciated.

I would definitely recommend Little Acorns.
