Holyrood Nursery Prestwich is a stunning, large detached house on Bury Old Road.

The nursery began in this beautiful house in 1994, owners chose to keep the original feel and character of this property which has resulted in a warm and homely atmosphere throughout.   

Situated in a residential area of Prestwich, Manchester, close to a number of local shops and motorway links.

The nursery has access to Heaton Park where children enjoy going for walks, looking at the animals and feeding the ducks.

The nursery has 7 playrooms over 3 floors these are generously proportioned, carefully planned and extensively resourced to create inspiring learning environments, where children are able to access a wide range of activities based around their interests.

The nursery also has access to a large enclosed outdoor space where children can explore the natural environment on the grassed area or ride a bike on the painted road. The large castle and outdoor equipment allow plenty of outdoor adventures.

An experienced and skilled staff team have many years of continuous service and work with children and parents in an enthusiastic, supportive manner encouraging every child’s growth and development. The nursery has a full time qualified teacher and one of the senior staff has an early years professional status.

From day one, I have felt comfortable leaving my child in their care. It has been a great journey seeing my child improve and learn new skills weekly. I am particularly pleased with the written and verbal communication I receive on a daily basis. My child is being positively encouraged to socialise
with others his own age and the adults who look after him.


I feel confident leaving him at nursery knowing that he will be well taken care of.

Holyrood, Prestwich is a fantastic and very inclusive nursery. My daughter has additional needs and they are excellent and supporting her and including her in activities.

My daughter joined Holyrood, Prestwich in September 2016 after spending 2 years at a local childminder.
She has been made very welcoming and the pre-school staff spend time getting to know her and planning activities around her interests. My daughter is quite quiet and reserved yet staff still ensure
she feels included and her needs are met.
She shares with me what she has done during the say and it is all very positive for her. The pre-school here is very diverse with many children with additional needs. It's clear to see how hard the staff work to included everyone in such a busy setting.

Holyrood nursery is fantastic. All 3 of my children have been here. My youngest daughter has come on so well since being here. All staff work so hard and I'm so happy with what they do. My daughter enjoys going to nursery and one member of staff in particular, has really helped her settle in.

Brilliant nursery.
I started my son in September 2016 and from day 1 he loves it.
He is coming on leaps and bounds. His vocabulary is improving everyday and the pictures he comes home with and the ones up in his nursery room, you can tell that the staff take extra special care and the kids all have
a ball every day. I'd go if I could.

We have put both our young daughters in Holyrood and we have always been extremely pleased with the care they have received. I think the biggest compliment we can give Holyrood is that when we drop the girls off we don't have a moments worry for the rest of the day that they're being anything other
than wonderfully cared for.
