The Cottage Nursery

My granddaughter currently attends The Cottage Nursery, as did her two older brothers in recent years. That in itself shows how much my family appreciate and value this nursery. Each of my grandchildren has loved being at the nursery and happily engaged in a wide variety of activities and valuable experiences. Any time I ever had the pleasure to take or pick them up myself, I was always given a warm and friendly welcome from the staff as well as feedback about their days and what they had done. I was always confident with the high standards set by the nursery and the competence of all the staff. I am truly thankful that my grandsons and now my granddaughter have had the best start to their education at The Cottage Nursery. Thank you!

My son was only meant to be there temporarily until I found somewhere for him permanently, but I loved it that much that he stayed on there for another few months and then moved up to there Prep School. Amazing nursery!

My little boy has been coming to this lovely nursery since November, despite only doing 1-day per week at moment, but will soon be up to 3-days from April. He has come on so well, and all the staff and keyworkers there are amazing. Can't thank them enough for how well they teach and look after him and all other children. Making friends, potty training; he's doing brilliantly. Aso, he enjoys going and loves to join in, in all the fun, as well as learning along the way. Would highly recommend this nursery.

Our little boy has been there since September 2019 now, and I was so apprehensive at first of sending him to the nursery. We visited a lot of nurseries previously, but as soon as we entered The Cottage, I knew I wanted my little boy to go here. He absolutely loves nursery, he smiles as soon as we say nursery or the names of the staff. He has come on so much in such a short time, and I could never thank the staff enough! I love how I can have a quick look in on his day and see the lovely observations added to the app. I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone.

My little boy started here in June 2020 and even though I was very nervous about sending him to nursery for the first time I couldn't have picked a better nursery. The girls from his previous class and his current class are so loving, caring and work so hard with each of the children providing them with new experiences each day. His confidence has grown, his speech has come on so much, he amazes me every day with certain words and phrases he can say and he always comes home with a big smile on his face after having the best day! The management team and secretary are also lovely and are always there to help if I have any questions or queries or to give any advice if I needed it. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough!

Our little girl absolutely loves going to nursery, the Tapestry app is an excellent way to see what she’s been up to and the activities always look fun and engaging. Staff are friendly and helpful and supported well after we had potty trained her. Overall a great setting!

A lovely nursery with a real family feel. The staff know every single child whether they teach them or not and make such an effort with everything they do. I love the educational focus as well as having fun. All the staff do everything they can to support you and your children on their little journey. It makes going to work so much easier knowing how well your children are looked after.

Wonderful staff, who are attentive and caring. There is always a new interesting activity for the children to participate in. We have found our child to be constantly growing in both ability and confidence from the structure and routine provided by the nursery. Alongside the fantastic teachers, the management team are easy to contact with any questions and eager to help with anything they can.

I couldn't recommend The Cottage enough, the staff really care about the development of the children and the experiences and variety of activities they get there are amazing. My little boy picks up his bag and gets his shoes ready to go there.

My child attends The Cottage Nursery and we have been beyond impressed. I really struggled the first week I dropped her off and the staff took care of my needs as well as my child’s. They went above and beyond to make the experience as positive at possible for both of us. 5 months on and she is thriving and continues to cheer as we park outside. Walks in waving and saying hi to everyone. She has come on leaps and bounds with the encouragement of all the staff. I also really love the longevity of the members of staff. I think that proves what a lovely environment it is.

There is very little I can say to fault The Cottage Nursery. The staff are amazing and very committed! The additional activities such as French, music sessions and trips are great and offer more variety to the children. All of the staff are approachable and are always happy to discuss your child and any concerns. The tapestry app which allows for regular updates and photos is a lovely tool and is updated regularly. It's lovely to be able to see what my child is doing each day and how the activity is relevant to their development. The mix of activities is good.

A fantastic nursery and I would highly recommend it to other parents.

Both boys have come here. Youngest still here. Both love the nursery and confidence has come on leaps and bounds. Really friendly staff and both developed language skills quickly. Happy to recommend to anyone.
