My son has attended Cherubs for 18months now and I can not praise this nursery enough. The friendly atmosphere and homely environment were what made us choose this nursery. The staff are very welcoming and know my son's needs and wishes which make me feel at ease leaving him during the day. The facilities
are fantastic particularly the outdoor area. I can log onto my child's development file at any time which is a lovely added extra.
The manager is always there if you need her and my son adores her.
I will be sending my unborn child here next year without a doubt.

Our little boy has been going to Cherubs since he was 7 months old. The communication between staff and parents is fantastic, I receive daily updates of all the activities he has taken part in and all the lovely new food he has tried.
The nursery has recently undergone a massive refurbishment with
a considerable amount being spent on their resources and in particular the garden. This for me is a massive bonus as nowhere in the area offers the same amount of grassed outdoor space. We are often told stories from our little boy from his adventures either being spent in the tree house or in the secret garden. There is also the added extra of the tasty mud pies he makes in the mud kitchen! Overall an amazing nursery... well-done team Cherubs!

We are very pleased with cherubs nursery and all the great work they do with our son, all the staff are friendly and helpful. Our son really enjoys his time there and the refurbishment has enhanced the environment both inside and outside. The management is great at keeping you informed of all events
going on at the nursery and you feel that they really care about your child's wellbeing and development.

Our daughter has been going to Cherubs since October. As a mum returning to work, I was worried about putting our daughter in childcare full time. Our daughter settled into nursery very quickly and now gets excited in the mornings when she realises she is going to nursery. The staff are all very friendly
and our daughter seems attached to them all. Her physical and verbal development has come on noticeably since she started at Cherubs and most importantly she always seems happy. I would fully recommend Cherubs.

My 20-month-old daughter has been at cherubs since she was 1. She really enjoys her time there and has many friends. She loves the food and always eats all the different meals on offer. The friendly down to earth staff are the people that make cherubs so great. It always feels like a fun place to be.
There is a real sense of community where all the staff from the different rooms know my daughter. The staff are knowledgeable have really got to know my daughter's character making her time there great. The manager is always contactable. Really recommend cherubs.

My daughter has been going to cherubs day nursery since she was 9 months old August 2015, my daughter settled in very well, My daughter is now in the toddler room and is a very young sociable outgoing little girl and that is the help of cherubs they do so many different activities go out for walks and
do French lessons and they have multi skills on a Wednesday.
My daughter is always coming home with paintings.
They now have a parents zone where we can see are children's observations and pictures I love this always nice to be reassured when in work.
The nursery has just a home vibe to it and the garden is outstanding my daughter comes home every day saying she has been in the secret garden or the tree house and in the mud kitchen I love that there is so much my daughter can do inside but then there is so much outside as well.
The staff at cherubs are amazing such a lovely bunch of women.
Overall cherubs is an amazing nursery and will always recommend whenever asked.

I do not know where to start. The nursery has been recently refurbished and the children have an amazing outside area with a bug hotel, nature trail and so much more to encourage learning. The staff are amazing. They truly love working there and in return this meant my daughter just settled straight
in.
I have nothing bad I could say. I have never had one issue. If you want the best for your child, send them here for childcare.
My daughter is 3 and can speak French and sing nursery rhymes. They also have multiple skills sessions.

This is my second child to attend this nursery, the first having been 12 years ago and although there has been many changes and improvements to the nursery itself the ethos and the atmosphere remain the same.
All of the staff seem to know every child and there is a happy atmosphere that is very focused
on making sure all of the children are thriving in learning and also making friends.
The staff are really good at dealing with any difficulties that may arise and the manager is very approachable and a lovely person.
My child is well cared for, well fed and is certainly thriving in his development, I couldn't recommend Cherubs Private Day Nursery highly enough.

My daughter started Cherubs when she was 2 years old. From the moment we looked around (and we looked around so many others!) we knew Cherubs was right for us as a family and most of all our daughter. The love, attention and care shown by all the staff is out of this world. She is so happy there and
I am confident that when I leave her in the morning she will have an amazing time. She is always telling me about the wonderful activities she does. The garden is fabulous! There is plenty of space for the children to run around and they even offer a weekly session of Multi skills. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My eldest daughter attended this nursery 9 years ago and I was immensely impressed with the level of care and development she received then.

My youngest daughter has been in this nursery since 2013 and will sadly be leaving pre-school early September this year. Our decision to send our youngest

daughter to Cherubs was an easy one to make. As soon as we entered the nursery, it was like we had returned home. The level of care she has received throughout her time here has been exceptional.

From the moment you walk into the nursery, you are greeted by friendly staff who know all children's name and make them feel welcome. On the odd occasion that my daughter has been upset when dropping her off, the staff have distracted her in order for me to go to work. One of the main advantages to this nursery is the massive garden and outdoor play area - no other local nursery to my knowledge has the same level of outdoor space with covered parts for when the weather is hot.

The recent change to the menu has proved a success - my daughter loves everything!

I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

I am so impressed by Cherubs and the staff who work here. My son started here over a year ago, with many problems as he had been in and out of hospital his whole life. Cherubs were there every step of the way helping and nurturing him. Nursery was a scary step for me and they were great helping me to
adjust with him going in, they went above and beyond to get to know us and my son.
They are constantly telling me beautiful stories about him, and showing me photos. It really helps to make me feel like I'm not missing out on my son's life while I'm working. Any issues he has needed extra help with, they have been more than happy to help. Their food is cooked fresh, they have lovely meal plans set out and the kids seem very happy with their meals!
I really feel I can go to work in the mornings knowing he is well cared for and safe. He's always coming home muddy and happy!!

Thank you for being so fantastic.

My daughter has been at Cherubs for nearly 2 years and particularly over the last year I've been really pleased with how well cared for she is. The manager is ever present, available to talk through queries and always takes a keen interest in my daughters development. The staff are friendly, approachable
and to be honest I don't know how they manage to always be so upbeat! The atmosphere in the nursery is lovely and the outdoor facilities are great. I've recently been very impressed with the new menus implemented promoting healthy eating, interesting and varied dishes as well as taking on board my own requirements for my daughters meals. I would definitely recommend Cherubs to friends.

My daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old. The communication between staff and parents is great; including verbal handovers about the day, email updates about the nursery and the option to have photos updated on to a private group on Facebook which is lovely to see what they're ding
in the day. My daughter often comes home with various paintings/arts and crafts that she has made and obviously has a great time. The garden is very big and the children are outside a lot of the time especially in summer months. The menus have just been updated which are based on healthy eating guidelines.

Cherubs is a lovely welcoming nursery. The staff are friendly and great with the children. My son loves going to Cherubs and has a great rapport with the staff.
I have been impressed with the activities that they children do and there's plenty of opportunities for them to play in fantastic garden
area. I am always impressed with the way my sons key worker and the way staff encourage and progress his learning and are very good in communicating what he's been doing throughout the day.
Its a lovely spacious nursery and it's always nice to see the walls full of the children's art work.
The manager is very approachable and she also has a great rapport with the children, parents and staff.
Overall I am very impressed with the nursery and would highly recommend it to others looking for a nursery for their child.

This is a most excellent nursery. It was the first nursery we looked at and our little girl was settled in brilliantly by all the staff there. They have an awesome garden and do plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. They currently do multi skills and French during the week and recently put on a Christmas
play with all the pre-school children who were all brilliant. My little girl has come on leaps and bounds since going here and looks forward to going every day. I cannot rate the nursery high enough. The food they serve the children is all home cooked and they have a great variety of menus.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.561) out of 10 for Partou Cherubs Day Nursery & Pre-school is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 17 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.731 for Partou Cherubs Day Nursery & Pre-school is calculated as follows: ( (183 Excellents x 5) + (6 Goods x 4) + (12 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 201 Ratings = 4.731
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.83 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Partou Cherubs Day Nursery & Pre-school is based on 16 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 86 number of registered child places is 17.2. 16 Positive Reviews ÷ 17.2 = 0.93
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
