Stepping Stones Day Nursery - Urmston

She has made lots of new friends and enjoys learning and going to nursery.

The staff are great and I especially liked the fact that they are responsive to my questions and concerns. My son has been flying since joining the nursery. I also appreciate their support for multicultural families and babies.

Our daughter has loved every day there and is very sad to be finishing soon. Great, friendly staff who always take the time to understand your child. We get a breakdown each day of what they’ve eaten, what her behaviour has been like and what she has done.

Stepping Stones is a warm, friendly and caring environment. All the staff take time to get to know each child individually and encourage their passions and interests. The children are given lots of different experiences to support their development in all areas. My son has attended Stepping Stones since February and myself and my husband are incredibly impressed with the progress he has made. My son is always happy to go to nursery and we find it hard to get him to leave at the end of the day. We particularly like the home-school book that we use to tell the staff about the activities our child has done when not at nursery. A great nursery and a great start to your little one's learning, I couldn't recommend it enough.

My daughter loves going to nursery at Stepping Stones and comes home telling me all about the fun things she has been doing and learning about. She has great relationships with the staff and has been supported in building relationships with other children too! I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for childcare in the local area.

We have been very impressed with the care at Stepping Stones Day Nursery. Our son currently travels with us for stretches of period at a time due to work commitments, and the staff have been so understanding and attentive to helping him resettle when he gets back. Whenever we have needed to communicate any needs or concerns, the nursery staff have given us their time and consideration with the utmost respect and positive attitude.

Thanks to the nursery team, one in particular, whom my daughter thinks walks on water!

This nursery is fantastic. Firstly the staff are so caring and are so attentive with our little one. Since coming to the nursery our daughter has developed so much. Everything from her speaking and listening to her numeracy and literacy skills and also her social skills have gone up dramatically. We can not thank you all enough for what you do for her.

Stepping Stones is such a caring and helpful nursery. My child has been there for nearly 4 years and has loved every minute. The staff care about all the children and love them like they are their own. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stepping Stones to anybody.

Stepping Stones Nursery has been integral to their development, growth and preparation for school. They are consistently engaged in fun and exciting learning activities and love their time in nursery. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and provide lots of support and next steps for learning with guidance for activities at home. The nursery manager is very approachable and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I would fully recommend Stepping Stones Nursery to any parents.

Our child has loved this nursery as they are so family-orientated and make him feel so special. He loves going to nursery as he always has a fun time. The staff are professional and always have time to tell us about his day.

I got a great feel for Stepping Stones as soon as I visited. Since my son started he has been loved and cared for to the highest level, and the most important thing is that he is happy. He looks forward to nursery and he loves the people he spends time with there. He eats a variety of delicious and nutritious foods every day and has endless new and fun learning experiences.

The manager is incredibly helpful in all aspects and will go above and beyond to meet any requests as well as ensuring the service more than meets the needs of my daughter. I can’t fault any of the staff, my daughter loves going to nursery and always has happy stories to tell me at the end of the day about what she has been up to.

My little girl absolutely loves going to nursery. She has gone from this shy, quiet one year old, to this independent little girl. She loves going out on adventures to the park and library, always doing activities and helping her learn new skills and new words. The staff are so caring towards her, always there when she needs them.

Our 3 year and 2 year old have been attending Stepping Stones since they were both 11 months. They both love going to nursery, love the staff and all the friends they’ve made there. Nursery were incredibly supportive settling both children in. The room teams are warm, caring, kind and fun. We really like that there’s an age range within the team. They always make time for parents and are happy to catch up on what’s happened in the day. The kids do a wide variety of activities, spend lots of time playing in the garden and riding scooters/bikes/making bug houses and going on trips out. We’ve had lots of support with potty training, and the team have been brilliant at providing appropriate learning. With their support, my oldest is really confident with letters and numbers. The nursery manager is professional and still takes an interest in the kids as individuals. Even through COVID, the management team fostered a community around nursery. We’ve had a great experience with Stepping Stones.

The team at Stepping Stones do a fabulous job. My little one started with them nearly a year ago and she has come on leaps and bounds since starting. Even on mornings when she doesn’t want to come into nursery, they calm her down and do things at my little ones' pace! All the staff are so friendly and I couldn’t imagine anywhere better for my little one.

Stepping Stones has been great for my little boy. His confidence has grown so much since starting there. He loves his time there so much that he asks to go on weekends! This is down to the brilliant staff. They are all so caring of the children, drive healthy meals and educate the children not only on the basic curriculum that you’d expect but also about the world around them. He’s made some great friends in this setting and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking.

It’s always hard to let a piece of your heart go, AKA sending your kids to nursery, but honestly not a worry here because they are well looked after, and always have fun and engaging activities to do!

The staff and manager have been absolutely amazing with my little boy, he's come out of his shell a lot since being at the nursery. He's learnt so much. They are very polite, the cleanliness of the nursery is 10/10.

My review relates to since my son started, such an amazing nursery all the staff are so kind and caring. The support that I’ve had from the staff has been brilliant they really have gone above and beyond for me and my son. We don’t actually live in Urmston anymore however because we both love the nursery I’d rather do a longer drive so he can stay there.
