Safari Kindergarten

Jade is our Co-Owner. Jade has worked in early years settings for over 15 years and has worked with children from birth to 11 years. Jade started her childcare career after leaving school as an apprentice. Jade has a BA Honours degree in Early Years. Jade is also first aid trained.

Jade has completed many additional training courses, including safer recruitment, developing outstanding practice, pediatric first aid, safeguarding, and ELKLAN.

Sherise is our Nursery manager; Sherise has many years’ experience working with early years. Sherise has worked at Safari Kindergarten for over 6 years and has a BA Honours degree in early years. Sherise is also first aid trained and is our safeguarding lead.

Sherise is also the Nursery Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Sam is our deputy manager and Nursery SENCO (Special educational needs co-ordinator) Sam is currently supernumerary and supports all the nursery rooms. Sam has many years’ experiences working with children particularly in early years and really enjoys her role as SENCO. Sam has worked at the nursery for 5 years and has a BA Honours degree in early years. Sam is also first aid trained.

Angela is our baby room leader and third in charge and has worked in childcare for many years, previously running a childminding service from her own home. Angela has worked at the nursery for over 6 years and has a level 3 Early Years Qualification and specific experience and training working with babies. Angela is also first aid trained.

Angela is also our third in charge.

Natasha has worked at the nursery for over 10 years, she has worked with all age groups in the nursery. Natasha has a level 3 qualification in early years. Natasha currently works in our toddler room and is first aid trained.

Holly has lots of experience and has worked in early years settings for over 5 years, before taking a break to have her little boy. Holly has her level 3 qualification in early years and is currently studying for her level 5 qualification. Hollie job shares the toddler room, room leader role alongside Megan. Hollie is first aid trained and is one of our Welcomm coordinators at nursery and our deputy SENCO.

Megan has her level 3 qualification as an early years educator and has previously been a student at the nursery. Megan works for us full time and works as a room leader alongside Hollie in our toddler room. Megan has had experience working with all ages within nursery. Megan is first aid trained and is currently working towards her level 5 qualification.

Kirstie has lots of experience working with children as a nursery practitioner and in leadership roles. Kirstie has a level 4 qualification as an Early Year’s educator. Kirstie works in our pre-school room as the pre-school room leader. Kirstie is first aid trained and is working towards an early years degree.

Tracy is our nursery cook. She has lots of experience working in Kitchens as a chef. She has completed her food hygiene and allergen training. Tracy is first aid trained.

Jade has joined our team in January 2023. She has a level 3 qualification as an early-year educator and works alongside Angela in our baby room. Jade has lots of experience working in nurseries and is first-aid trained.

Pollyanna has experience working with children of all ages. Pollyanna has a level 2 qualification as an early years practitioner. Polly works in our pre-school room full time alongside Kirstie.

Ellie is a newly qualified early years educator. She has been a student with us for the last 2 years and has just started her new role as an early years educator. Ellie will primarily be based in our baby room. She has recently completed her paediatric first aid, safeguarding level 2 and baby room training.

Elle has previously been an SEN one to one support assistant at nursery and has taken a break in her career to have her little girl. Elle has now returned to us as a nursery assistant and will help out across all of the nursery
