Safari Kindergarten

We are so happy we chose Safari for our child, he is so well looked after, and we feel secure knowing that he is in a loving and nurturing environment. All the staff at Safari are welcoming and helpful and are committed to enabling children to reach their goals. My child loves it at Safari and has built lovely relationships with staff and other children. I’m so pleased with the progress he has made so far, and I know that all he has learned will really help him when transitioning to school.

Safari is a fantastic nursery. All the staff are very dedicated, caring and loving towards the children. The programme they offer is perfect, from stretch and grow - learning about healthy bodies to talking about emotions. They keep the parents updated about their child’s progress daily and always try and tailor activities to what the child likes and enjoys. They have been amazing with my daughter with her food allergies, and they have fully embraced it, and this means my daughter doesn’t miss out or feel different from the other children. We will be forever grateful for that support and for everything they help us with.

The best nursery I have ever come across, from the staff to the love they show the children is impeccable. I know of many nurseries that charge more than Safari Kindergarten, and they are no way up to the standards of these guys. I know if my child is upset, the staff here make it all better with a hug or two, and that’s what matters to me. They have helped my child in so many ways, from her eating to her talking, and I can not thank them enough for everything they do. I wish she could stay forever.

Safari Kindergarten provides home-from-home care with staff who are caring and in tune with their little nursery children on every level. My grandson has a food allergy and hypermobility and was a late walker, all of which the nursery staff took in their stride. Even allowing an outside scuttle bug into the nursery room when he was still not self-mobile. On leaving and collecting the child, the staff always have time to listen to your concerns and adapt the day to suit the child. Every day he is learning, developing skills and socialising with his peers and adults in a sharing learning environment.

I have two children who attend here, and they are so happy and content in their environment and with all the staff. They adhere to every child’s individual needs, and do their very best to be informative and supportive through an app that allows communication between caregiver and parent. Always striving to do their best in any way they can. Lovely nursery.

Very professional and friendly staff. Very clean! Good fresh food! My child is very happy, and we can see lots of progress in our child's development. Lots of activities, trips and competitions. Very good communication emails, telephone, face-to-face and Nursery website. Many thanks!

A wonderful nursery. My son has attended since he was a year old, and has been and still is thriving. All staff are lovely, caring and attentive to health and/or dietary needs. They use an app which informs me of daily foods and photos of what he has been doing and how the activities reach his developmental goals. Staff and parents can also communicate via the app, which is very useful. The nursey is flexible, which is one of the first things that attracted me to them. I feel content and at ease that my son is safe, loved, happy, learning, experiencing and thriving whilst I am at work. The only slight downfall for me is the food. Most are homemade, which is great, but there could be a little more variety and greater nutritional value in the meals.

I highly recommend Safari Kindergarten. The staff are kind and caring and will go out of their way to support the needs of every child, while still being professional and following operating procedures and developmental goal plans. The management is flexible, and I'm able to arrange extra hours as and when I need them. Through the app, I have so many pictures of what my son gets up to a nursery, and I can see the vast range of activities that he does and how happy and engaged he is. He loves the home-cooked meals - Safari has been brilliant at catering for his dietary needs. It's so reassuring to know that while I'm working, he is receiving so much love and attention and access to new experiences and that he's happy. If my son were to write this review, he would tell you that listening to the speaker while playing outside and the dancing lady that comes once a week are his favourite things.

Such a wonderful nursery. All the staff were fantastic with my twins. They came such a long way during the 2.5 years they spent here. The staff treated my daughters like their own - couldn't ask for more from them. I'll always recommend this nursery to anyone.

My son went to Safari Kindergarten a couple of years ago, and now my twins go. All of them have loved their time there. The staff are friendly and excellent with the children. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone!

An absolute hidden gem! My son attended Safari from six months until three years old, when he left to attend the nursery at the school I work at. Only for pure convenience; otherwise, he would've been there until school age. The staff at Safari truly go above and beyond to meet the needs of the children in their care. As it's a small nursery, they really get to know each individual child and work exceptionally hard to meet their needs. They are well-resourced and ensure that all children's interests are met with whatever they bring in. Good, home-cooked nutritious food is made every day. A stand-out point for me is that they are never complacent. The staff constantly think of new ways to engage the children and frequently celebrate a diverse range of celebratory days. They really were a home-from-home for my son, and we cannot thank them enough for everything they did for him.

As a nursery, on the whole, Safari Kindergarten is very supportive towards children and families.

The care, attention and learning she receives are second to none. I can't thank them enough for all they did for my daughter. They helped turn her into a confident little girl with lots of friends.

My daughter has been attending for one year now and has come along massively in that time. We receive daily updates and photographs and know what she's up to or has been learning and eating each day via the app or daily catch-up with the girls when collecting our child. The girls here are fabulous with the children and really do care about their needs; they form such lovely bonds with them too. Really glad we chose this nursery, and my little girl is thriving.

Safari Kindergarten has been an amazing nursery, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff are lovely and keep parents up to date on the app or by phone call. They are flexible around the times and will do different days each week with plenty of notice. I found it hard to find a nursery that would be able to do different days each week, and Safari really does try and do everything to work around you. My child made some amazing friends, learnt so much, loved the activities and really enjoyed exploring at the park. Can not fault them at all!

Safari Kindergarten is an absolutely incredible nursery! My eldest child attended here until 2021 and my youngest still attends. It is a lovely family run nursery with the most warm and caring staff you could meet! The children are loved and cared for by all staff and both my children adored each and every one of the team. They're always so happy to tell me about their day at nursery! I'll be so sad when my son leaves Safari Kindergarten next year! I'd recommend this nursery to anyone! They really are amazing!

My daughter loves this nursery and enjoys going every day. The staff are friendly and attentive, and I am always kept up to day with feedback on my daughters day. The nursery always provides exciting activities, and my daughter loves to tell me what she has been doing each day. I am very happy with Safari Kindergarten, and I would recommend this nursery to any friends or family.

My son has enjoyed coming to this nursery since he was 14 months. Now 2.5 he is developing into such a polite, confident little boy and I put much of this down to the amazing care and attention from the staff. With a real home from home feel about it and always plenty of different things going on for him, it is reassuring when he runs straight in, on a morning. I would recommend this nursery 100%

I've had at least one of my children in full-time nursery for the past 6 years. Very low turn over of staff. Always kept updated, every day is different for the children. Trips out on the bus to the local park, they bring in external teachers such as Spanish lessons and football. The open and honest staff that listen to concerns and act upon them if required or reassure. Would recommend 100% to anyone.

Care is bespoke for each child and meals are well thought out to ensure they're familiar to the children i.e. as they would eat at home.
