Upon returning to work I was very nervous at the prospect of leaving my little boy. However, this soon changed when I visited and decided to send him to Vicar Water. All the team are excellent and more than exceeded my expectations as did the office manager. A fantastic nursery and team, would highly
recommend.

The nursery is absolutely fab! Staff are so involved with the children and keep up to date with events children have done outside of nursery. They have both learnt so much and confidence wise, they've come on in leaps and bounds. The garden is everything a child could want. My son loves the allotment.
I think it's great how what's grown is cooked and eaten for the children's dinners. 10/10. I could not fault the nursery and I will be sad when my children become too old to come.

My daughter has been at Treetops Vicar Water (Mansfield) for just over a year and is 2 and a half. She has come on so much over this time and the nursery does all they can to nurture and develop her. She comes home desperate to share with us all she has done and is always eager to return. The staff
are exceptional and really do care for her as an individual rather than just a number as some other nurseries do. I have already and will continue to recommend Treetops Vicar Water (Mansfield) 100%.

My son has been coming to this nursery for nearly 2 years now and he absolutely loves it.
He cannot wait to ger his shoes and coat on in the morning. I usually find myself running out of the door trying to put my coat on all so he can see his friends at nursery. Not only are the staff so good with
my son, they bend over backwards and give their best efforts to support and work with parents. For example following through with toilet training at nursery as well as at home. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They are so kind hearted, friendly and welcoming everyone we visit. Keep up the good work Vicar Water Day Nursery staff.

My little boy has been attending this nursery for 20 months now. He is absolutely flourishing there. His confidence is clear to see and he has built many friendships both with other children and staff. The staff have designed learning and play activities around his interests and have supported him to
develop his love of numbers and letters.

Staff are really open and approachable, they are always on hand to offer advice and reassurance. I feel that they know my sons needs and support him to help him learn and grow. Since being at nursery my sons confidence and social skills have improved a lot. He now talks non-stop and is confident to
join in with other children and do new things on his own. The facilities are excellent, especially the outdoors space which my son loves. My son loves nursery and looks forward to going and doesn't want to leave when I pick him up. That can only be a good thing as when he first started he'd cry whenever I left him. I always ring to check on him and staff always are polite and reassuring. He is definitely enjoying learning and has improved in all aspects of education; numbers, colours etc.

Generally very pleased with my sons achievements at this nursery, cannot fault them. He has come on with his development so much since starting and couldn't think of a better place for him to spend his time and grow as a little boy. Truly thankful.

The nursery has brought my daughter along very well, the staff are very knowledgeable and always want to give my daughter the best development that they can. The facilities are excellent and in the short time my daughter has been at the nursery her improvement in speech and interaction with others has
come on leaps and bounds away from the nursery as well. We are very happy parents.

I would definitely recommend Vicar Water Treetops, we've only been coming for a few months and my little girl has settled in really well. All the staff are friendly and very patient. The outside area is fantastic with plenty of space for everyone to play and runaround.

Some mornings she struggles

to let me go and the staff are brilliant, they encourage her to go off and play or read or they just talk to her which makes it so much easier for me to leave whilst knowing she's in safe hands.

It's great to hear about what she been doing during the day and how she's been, we even get a daily log.

The kids even get a healthy snack when leaving which goes down very well!

Current Review Score: 9.1 (9.053)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.1 (9.053) out of 10 for Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.1 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.917 for Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water is calculated as follows: ( (66 Excellents x 5) + (6 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 4.917
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.136 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Mansfield Vicar Water is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 56 number of registered child places is 11.2. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 11.2 = 0.536
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
