We have been with Busy Bees for two and a half years and are impressed with this nursery. When we first looked around Busy Bees we loved the big gardens and that each age group has its own outdoor space and the children spend a lot of time outside. The rooms are also spacious and well laid out with
a lot of toys and activities.
We have met a lot of the staff and everyone has always been professional and friendly. The food is good and both our sons eat well at nursery. They are always smiling and happy when we collect them.
Busy Bees have coped with Covid very well and we admire the team for what they have had to do during such a difficult time. We haven’t been able to go inside the nursery recently but they regularly add photos to their app which we really appreciate. An assessment of the children is written every few months and they have been helpful in developing new skills. It’s always possible to phone for a catch up in between reviews. We would recommend Busy Bees!

My daughter has settled so well into the baby room and has a brilliant bond with the ladies who care for her. The nursery have catered for her allergies. Love the communication we get from the nursery. Really reassured by the Covid-19 measures that have been implemented.

I would highly recommend Busy Bees Wollaton. My son started there in 2018 at 7 months old. As a first-time mum I was very nervous. But the whole nursery team put me at ease. All the rooms have supported my son's development and he has flourished into a wonderful boy who surprises me every day with new
words and actions. My daughter recently started at the same nursery at 4 months due to work commitments and the nursery have been absolutely fantastic in catering for her needs and providing her with constant stimulation. I will be forever grateful to the nursery for providing family-like support to both my children.

Both my children have attended Busy Bees Wollaton. My daughter is now in school but joined Busy Bees in the baby room when she was one and progressed through to the toddler room and then preschool. My son is now in the baby room. They both love(d) the staff, the activities and the meals! The staff members
are lovely and have time to talk you through your little one's day when you collect. Their parent zone phone app is great; they upload photos of your child playing and learning, along with their assessments. You can also upload your own observations/photos for them to use to engage your child in activities they enjoy.

Very pleasant, friendly staff.
My son is still quite new and gets upset when I leave, but staff always look after him and hold him when I leave.
I have absolute confidence in the nursery.
Very thorough overview at the end of the day when I collect him and I like the online facility with info re
mealtimes, photos playing etc.
There are lots of staff who always say hi and goodbye, so many on the team that seem to really make the effort to make the children and parents feel at home and happy.
Great variety for mealtimes, I feel this adds and compliments what he eats at home.
Great selection of toys, lots of variety and fun and stimulation.
Own outdoor area for each age group, was a big sway for my husband and I going with this nursery.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 6 months old. The staff are brilliant and she has always had a great bond with her key person. The activities on offer are always exciting and challenging. The staff are always welcoming and friendly.

My son started nursery when he was two and went into the toddler room at Busy Bees, The nursery staff have been excellent and really took care of him and his needs. At first, he was really upset when I Ieft him, but the staff were always on hand to give reassuring cuddles. The food provided is excellent
and there's always a different range of thing on offer. The toddler room staff helped me potty train him and again they have been invaluable with this. The encouragement was fantastic and made the process a lot easier. The outdoor facilities for toddlers are just the right amount of space for small people. My son has recently moved into the three to five room and the staff are lovely and professional, again the outdoor area is brilliant with a slide and lots of space to run around. Overall Busybees have been an excellent childcare provider and I'm glad I chose them. It is just sad we are moving out of the area and cannot continue with Busy Bees

We are really happy with Busy Bees Wollaton, our little boy has attended from a baby and he has grown and developed well within the baby unit, he has recently moved to the toddler room. He is really happy going to nursery. All the staff are really friendly and helpful and my son has formed good bonds

It is a wonderful nursery. Staff are great and my son's key person is fantastic Everyone from reception to the managers are always happy to help! I would recommend it to any other parents with little ones. Our Little one is always happy to go to the nursery and can't wait to tell us what he has done

My son has been attending the nursery for nearly a year now and he really enjoys it.
The staff are lovely and very caring and every morning I am confident I leave him in safe hands.
The communication is also really good - At the end of each day the staff always provide me with feedback about my son
and I can also log into a Busy Bees online portal to track his sleep, eating and activities. If I am concerned about anything or want to check how he is doing, I can call any time through the day and the staff would happily give me an update.
I am very happy with the activities provided like weekly Jo Jingles classes, painting, even creating Christmas decorations which my son is really enjoying!
There is also a good range of toys babies can play with, all carefully selected for the correct age group.
The meals are prepared on site and my child always enjoys them. He is a food allergy sufferer and the nursery had no problem accommodating his needs.

My little boy is 3 years old and has attended nursery since the summer of 2014 and has really thrived and developed in so many ways. The rooms are exciting and stimulating allowing children to develop their social, creative, communication and listening skills as well as their physical and emotional
development. The staff are really warm, friendly and welcoming and my son has formed lovely bonds with his key workers. Nothing is too much trouble and you are always greeted with a smiley face when entering the nursery. The office has an open door policy and you never feel like you are intruding. We are always kept up to date with his progress both through when being dropped off or collected and regular parents evenings. I can honestly say I will be sad when he leaves next year and I'm sure he will feel the same. I strongly recommend any parent/carer who are thinking of sending their little one to nursery to have a visit.

My little boy has attended Busy Bees Wollaton since he was 1 year old. He is now 3 and a half and we couldn't be happier with how well he is cared for. The nursery provides a safe, caring and fun environment for my little boy to enjoy visiting.
The staff are so kind and caring and look after the children
so well. I feel like my little boy is very safe in their care.
The educational activities provided to the children are well thought out and make for an enjoyable learning experience. Each child has a key worker who really makes an effort to plan the care and educational activities for their children.
The nursery is very well managed, both in an individual room and overall level. All of the staff are approachable and give good feedback at the end of each day.
I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough.

Hello, my name is Michelle and I am the Manager here at Busy Bees in Wollaton.


I have worked for Busy Bees since 1999 and I have had managerial experience in several nurseries in the Midland's area. I completed my BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies at college when I left school and I have since attended University part time and completed the Foundation Degree in Children and Young people’s Services and also my BA (HONS) in Early Childhood studies. I have also attended various other training courses such as Safeguarding, customer service and EYFS. My training has enabled me to gain a wealth of knowledge and experience which I have been able to share with my staff team. I am very committed in ensuring that myself and the team deliver high standards of care and education to the children who attend our nursery. We work hard as a team to ensure that the children have a variety of learning opportunities that are planned to individual children’s needs and interests. I have two children myself, both of them have previously attended the nursery.
