Busy Bees Southwell

Management is consistent, clear and professional as well as organised. When I am at work I am confident my daughter is cared for well and properly. This is my daughter's second nursery thus I am able to compare. I wish my daughter attended this nursery from the beginning. The nursery is calm, tidy and organised which provides an ideal learning and nurturing environment for babies and toddlers

Both our daughters attend Busy Bees in Southwell. The entire team there seem to genuinely care about them as individuals and most importantly, our girls are happy there.

Even though there are 2 nurseries in the village where I live, we come here which is 10 mins away (detour for me but on my husband's way to work) as we really liked it after our first visit.

Currently, my daughter is the youngest in her room but is flourishing with the attention she receives and by watching the "older children".

They do activities that never crossed my mind, she's eaten food I didn't consider and she's learning new skills like using a spoon and standing up at a rate of knots.

I have a very open relationship with the staff there and I can see when my daughter interacts with them, that she loves going to nursery.

His baby brother will go there this year too.

My son attends the Pre-school room within this setting. The ladies in the room are so welcoming and full of smiles, I feel so happy leaving him in their care.

He is always exhausted by the end of the day, always telling me about the activities he has been engaged within whilst spending his time at Busy Bees.

The staff are full of information, informing me of the educational aspects of his learning, but I can see this using my Parent Zone application, as all information gets sent directly to myself and my wife as it happens within the day, even a few photographs to let us know how he is getting on within the day.

I would recommend this setting to anyone, it has the space in the garden to enable the children to explore and run around, and use both the indoor and outdoor environment when they see fit!

I feel very happy leaving my children in the care of the staff who work at Busy Bees Southwell, they are all friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about their role. The staff are great at getting to know the children as individuals, even ones who they don’t directly work with, I have 2 children in different rooms but they know all of the staff and all of the staff know them and what they are like, they have a genuine interest in the children they care for. Both of my children love going to Busy Bees, they enjoy their time there and love the staff, often mentioning them when at home and talking about different things they have done. I would recommend this nursery to my family, friends or anyone looking for great childcare!

Getting regular updates via the app is brilliant as it lets me know exactly what she's been up to including pictures and videos, what she's eaten and when her nappy has been checked/changed. She also has a really good selection of meals and there is so much for her to do and explore. This nursery really understands the importance of parent reassurance and I would recommend without hesitation.

My daughter has settled really well into Busy Bees Nursery and has already learnt so much. She has made friends and has formed lovely relationships with her key person and the girls in the baby room. I have no worries when dropping her off as I know she is well cared for.

An excellent childcare provider with outstanding facilities and extremely experienced and caring staff. As a parent of children with SEN, I couldn't have asked for any more support from all of the team. My children have made significant developmental progress and their social interaction and communication skills have improved profoundly.

The staff are very approachable, friendly and welcoming. I would HIGHLY recommend this setting to anyone who is looking for childcare in this area, the nursery is a part of my family and is valued highly in our household.

Busy Bees at Southwell is superb. There is a lot to recommend, but of particular importance to me is the friendliness of the staff and the love and care they show to the children. Each of the staff is friendly and engaging and shows a genuine warmth and interest in the development of the children.

Another particular advantage for my daughter is the free access to secure outdoor space, with lots of space and activities for exploration. Inside, the open plan layout allows for free play and the children can choose and follow the activities that interest them. It also means the room doesn't have the claustrophobic feel of other nurseries of a similar size.

The key worker system means that I feel that my daughter is being cared for with almost as much close attention as she would be in my own home and she has built strong bonds which make her happy to go to nursery in the morning.

Anyone considering should take a tour and get a feel for the warmth and fun of the nursery.

Busy Bees is a wonderful nursery for many different reasons - First of all, and most importantly, my daughter loves it and has a great time whilst she is there (which speaks for itself), and I know without a doubt that she is safe and well cared for. It has an open door policy; the manager and staff are always so welcoming, friendly and informative no matter what. The addition of the ParentZone app also adds to the great communication between parents and staff; it's lovely to see photo's and read about what your child has been doing. There is a wide range of activities both inside and out, with access to a lovely big garden, regardless of weather; and the activities themselves are essentially centred around play so it's great to know that they are learning whilst also having fun! The meals and snacks provided are brilliant and it's reassuring to know that my daughter is enjoying delicious, healthy food when she is there. Without any hesitation, I cannot recommend Busy Bees enough.

Busy Bees at Southwell is a great nursery with fantastic staff. There is an open door policy and you always feel very welcomed whenever you go in. My son loves going to nursery and I am always comfortable that he is very well taken care of. The staff always come up with the new fun activities for them to do and they play a lot outside when the weather permits. The food and menu is also very good, nutritional and that my son enjoys eating. The nursery has a very homely feel and staff constantly provide feedback. They also go out of their way to organise additional activities e.g. summer fair, parents evenings, grandparents tea etc.. Management is also very friendly and great with communication. I feel that most importantly it is a very safe environment for my son.
