Busy Bees Southwell, offers specifically designed playrooms and a cheerful environment in which for specialised pre-school development to take place. Lovely nursery with friendly staff who care about the children. My daughter (20 months) loves to visit and is making good progress - singing new songs at home and saying new words.
We are kept up to date with her day through regular updates on the app which is reassuring as a parent. Management is
really helpful and accommodating with last-minute changes to days or unexpected extra days!
Would highly recommend.

Lovely setting with amazing staff that care for children like they are their own. They have a sound knowledge of the eyfs and put it into practice. They are lovely and welcoming and my son has been coming since he was 7 months old.

The staff at the nursery are what make it, they are always happy, smiley and show genuine affection towards the kids. Both our kids have attended Busy Bees at Southwell and with our oldest having just left for school, the fact he still talks about the staff and how much he misses them is testament to
the great job they do.

My son went to the nursery last year and my daughter is currently there.... if only we knew how good this nursery was before we would have moved my son 4 years ago.
We have known the manager from a previous nursery. All the staff are brilliant and my daughter has so much confidence and never cries.
The nursery has an app whereby you can see what they have had to eat, how much sleep they have had and when they have had their nappy changed. It also gives you information on their progress. Amazing 5-star nursery and although it is more money than the previous nursery it is worth every single penny. Thank you to all at Busy Beest at Southwell.

Busy Bees at Southwell nursery is fabulous, my two girls attend 3 days a week and they absolutely love it! Communication between the nursery staff and parents is excellent and the team at Southwell make me feel reassured that the girls are ok and having lots of fun. Having them at the nursery has also
helped implement good structure in to their daily routines! I’ve seen the girls progress and develop well since starting in the summer and I’m so pleased I picked this nursery! I know they’re happy and safe and they have so much fun! Thanks to everyone at Busy Bees at Southwell!

I would definitely recommend Southwell Busy Bees. My daughter started attending this nursery after we moved house and it was her second nursery. I couldn't be happier that we moved her and feel she has been very well cared for and has developed so much since attending Busy Bees. The staff at Busy Bees
show genuine care for my daughter and show real interest in getting to know her and to develop strong relationships. The care she has been shown is brilliant and I could not ask for more. I have no concerns leaving her there when I go to work and will be sad when she leaves to go to school.

My two children really enjoy this safe, caring and stimulating setting. The team are experienced, professional and friendly and always have smiles on their faces. The food is varied, tasty and cooked on site. Daily communication is good with updates from the team on pick up and mobile app to record
nappies, meals and development. Very accommodating and flexible with bookings which really helps. Thanks.

Management is consistent, clear and professional as well as organised. When I am at work I am confident my daughter is cared for well and properly. So happy with my toddler attending Busy Bees.
Even though there are 2 nurseries in the village where I live, we come here which is 10 mins away (detour for me but on my husband's way to work) as we really liked it after our first visit.


Currently, my daughter is the youngest in her room but is flourishing

with the attention she receives and by watching the "older children".


They do activities that never crossed my mind, she's eaten food I didn't consider and she's learning new skills like using a spoon and standing up at a rate of knots.


I have a very open relationship with the staff there and I can see when my daughter interacts with them, that she loves going to nursery.

I’m guilt-free leaving my son with this crowd whilst I go to work.
I actually feel I’m accomplishing a lot as a mum, each time I drop him off. As parent support, they help him develop in new and additional ways to what we do. They offer plenty of advice too and tailor their approach to him according
to what’s going on at home.
My son loves it, it’s a ‘treat’ for him.
His baby brother will go there this year too.

My son attends the Pre-school room within this setting. The ladies in the room are so welcoming and full of smiles, I feel so happy leaving him in their care.


He is always exhausted by the end of the day, always telling me about the activities he has been engaged within whilst spending his time at

Busy Bees.


The staff are full of information, informing me of the educational aspects of his learning, but I can see this using my Parent Zone application, as all information gets sent directly to myself and my wife as it happens within the day, even a few photographs to let us know how he is getting on within the day.


I would recommend this setting to anyone, it has the space in the garden to enable the children to explore and run around, and use both the indoor and outdoor environment when they see fit!

I feel very happy leaving my children in the care of the staff who work at Busy Bees Southwell, they are all friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about their role. The staff are great at getting to know the children as individuals, even ones who they don’t directly work with, I have 2 children in
different rooms but they know all of the staff and all of the staff know them and what they are like, they have a genuine interest in the children they care for. Both of my children love going to Busy Bees, they enjoy their time there and love the staff, often mentioning them when at home and talking about different things they have done. I would recommend this nursery to my family, friends or anyone looking for great childcare!

My daughter has been attending this nursery since November and I cannot say enough good things about it. The staff in particular made my initial back-to-work worries much easier as their caring and friendly nature is so reassuring. My daughter didn't take long to settle in at all and now loves going.
Getting regular updates via the app is brilliant as it lets me know exactly what she's been up to including pictures and videos, what she's eaten and when her nappy has been checked/changed. She also has a really good selection of meals and there is so much for her to do and explore. This nursery really understands the importance of parent reassurance and I would recommend without hesitation.

My daughter has settled really well into Busy Bees Nursery and has already learnt so much. She has made friends and has formed lovely relationships with her key person and the girls in the baby room. I have no worries when dropping her off as I know she is well cared for.

An excellent childcare provider with outstanding facilities and extremely experienced and caring staff. As a parent of children with SEN, I couldn't have asked for any more support from all of the team. I have 2 children that attend the setting, my son in the Toddler room and my daughter attends the holiday club that is provided in the school holidays.
Due to my work commitments, I work full time, the girls make my son feel so welcomed and loved and make me feel less guilty about having to leave
him. He comes home having completed many different activities, which I get verbal feedback, also having information sent directly to me via the parent zone app I have on my phone so can be informed of his meals, sleeps, nappies and observations. The outdoor space is VERY big, I love that they can access this at anytime they want to.
When my daughter attends the holiday club she is always asked what she would like to do and the girls accommodate her the best they can.
The staff are very approachable, friendly and welcoming. I would HIGHLY recommend this setting to anyone who is looking for childcare in this area, the nursery is a part of my family and is valued highly in our household.

Busy Bees at Southwell is superb. There is a lot to recommend, but of particular importance to me is the friendliness of the staff and the love and care they show to the children. Each of the staff is friendly and engaging and shows a genuine warmth and interest in the development of the children.


Another particular advantage for my daughter is the free access to secure outdoor space, with lots of space and activities for exploration. Inside, the open plan layout allows for free play and the children can choose and follow the activities that interest them. It also means the room doesn't have the claustrophobic feel of other nurseries of a similar size.


The key worker system means that I feel that my daughter is being cared for with almost as much close attention as she would be in my own home and she has built strong bonds which make her happy to go to nursery in the morning.


Anyone considering should take a tour and get a feel for the warmth and fun of the nursery.
