Busy Bees Southwell

If you are a parent of a child with or without additional needs and are hesitant about a larger setting, please take this as reassurance. The team at Busy Bees proved my worries wrong in the best way possible. We feel incredibly lucky to have them. Thank you!!

Everything about the nursery is amazing - the staff, facilities, activities, learning and food in particular. It's often hard to get her to leave at pick up time because she's having too much fun! Highly recommended!

Overall, we've had a very positive experience and are grateful for the support and encouragement our son receives at nursery.

Our child loves attending BBs Southwell and literally runs in the door in a morning. The staff are fantastic and the food served is wonderful. We find the educational part top level and the skills being developed are fantastic. We wouldn't have them anywhere else!

Really pleased with our experience at Busy Bees. My son can sometimes be emotional when dropping off at nursery and the staff are always extremely warm, friendly and welcoming with him which over time has made him much more confident about going. The staff are great at keeping me updated on his day and are always quick to get back to me if I have any questions. My son always comes home happy and tells me about the different activities they have done in the day. Couldn't recommend it enough and will be sending my second child there at the end of the year.

Busy Bees has been such a great nursery for our son. He started in the baby room in September 2025 and the transition and support with this new chapter was excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly and approachable and they take the time to really get to know your child. The level of care is extremely high and you can tell that the staff enjoy what they do and want to help your child develop new skills. A range of activities are played each day and staff encourage the children to play outside whenever the weather allows, which is great. The food menu is brilliant and has so many different meals on it which are great for babies and toddlers to explore more foods. I am very pleased with our choice of nursery and would recommend it to anyone.

The staff are excellent, and create great activities to keep them all entertained. Both our children love it there. My youngest has been going since she was 6 months. The facilities are clean, and great for the youngsters. The food is also really varied and tasty. We couldn't be happier!

We love Busy Bees Southwell!

Our second child will be starting in baby room soon and I have no doubt will be just as happy here.

I felt so uncomfortable that this is the experience my daughter would have while I was there, what would happen when I wasn't. I spoke to the manager and explained my experience who said this wasn't the normal case. Even though the service was not as described on the website/by the staff I did not receive my deposit back. Advice - avoid if you can!

We’re very happy that our daughter goes to Busy Bees Southwell. The team are exceptional, not just in our daughter's room but across the centre, taking into account personality, developmental skills and interests. The food variety and quality is also fantastic - it’s great to know that when she’s in their care she is being looked after in every respect.

We are more than happy with our choice of nursery for our daughter. In our opinion, the staff go above and beyond for the babies and ensure they have days filled with activities and exploring new things, which is so important for their development! My daughter loves it too! My personal favourite feature is the app updates.

A fantastic nursery. My daughter has thrived in this environment with kind and patient staff who are very welcoming and easy to talk to. All of the staff get to know the children well. There are always lots of activities for the children to take part in and the outside area is absolutely brilliant.

Amazing nursery with kind, personable and welcoming staff. The facilities are modern and the outdoor space is brilliant. There’s always lots of new daily activities and resources out for the children to play and learn. The communication is always prompt and informative. The staff always greet you with a smile and form great relationships with the children. They always go above and beyond to help. Highly Recommend.

We have been really happy with Busy Bees right from when our daughter first started. She is always happy to go, the staff are lovely, kind and caring and send regular updates of what the children have been up to. She enjoys the activities and food, has developed socially and made some great friendships and feels like she is well prepared for starting school. Will be sad to leave!

Such a great nursery. From the day we went to look around to now, we can’t fault Busy Bees. The staff are all so lovely, helpful, kind and my little boy adores them all. Since him starting there, you can see how much he has grown. It’s the nicest feeling taking him in the morning with a big grin on his face to picking him up with a smile too and knowing he’s in safe hands. The activities they do sound so much fun, they are outside as much as possible. The food always sounds great, thank you staff. You’re updated throughout the day with what your child gets up to. They always have events going on and they make sure the families are included as much as possible. I can’t fault Busy Bees. Thank you so much for all you do.
