Ryan House Day Nursery

Ryan House is a phenomenal nursery. Every day, activities are laid out for the children and they get such a variety. Our daughter loves it there and the key people always tell us what she's been up to and where we can support her or just celebrate in her learning. They subtly help the children to learn how to look after themselves and prepare for school/life, all in a really fun way and a relaxed environment. We came from a much more expensive nursery but our experience of Ryan House is exceptional in comparison - the processes and management all just work and it's a really happy, supportive atmosphere. The staff turnover is low which says it all really - they treat the staff well and help them progress in their careers - these happy staff go the extra mile for the children. I absolutely love it and I'm only sorry we didn't find it earlier for my other children!

My first child attended Ryan House from age 10 months to 4 years (she's now in school), and now my second child attends the nursery. We only have positive things to say about Ryan House. The staff are brilliant and so attentive. Both children have always had the best time every day with so many activities to keep them busy. Their confidence has grown too, especially with my first child. The staff at Ryan House really helped her confidence grow ready for starting primary school.

I would however like to say that the lady in preschool is always so welcoming, smiles and always provides great feedback on collections she truly is an asset to the nursery and the kids love her.

We have been so impressed with all aspects of the nursery. The staff are wonderful and have helped my son to settle in well. I feel confident that I’m leaving him in an environment where he can learn and explore. We love receiving updates throughout the day and seeing what the children are up to. We would definitely recommend the nursery.

We’ve been really happy with Ryan House since our daughter started there in January. We had been nervous about it but all the lovely team have been so kind and supportive to our daughter (and us!) throughout. From the settling-in process, right through to today we’ve felt really happy and supported. They provide regular updates throughout the day. We love how they start the day by sharing what they have planned for the kids and how this helps development. The activities always look so engaging, imaginative, fun and we love that they also tie in themed play too - it’s been especially sweet seeing activities for World Book Day, World Down Syndrome Day and Easter recently. They also share photos which is reassuring to see our daughter having fun and settling in. They are great at updating us on her interests and development too and make suggestions of what we can do at home. The food made by the lovely chef always sounds healthy and delicious too. Thank you Ryan House!

I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough, the staff are really great and knowledgeable. The facilities are brilliant and everything is geared towards the children’s best interests. My daughter is always excited to come here.

Our daughter has been going to Ryan House for more than a year and she is really enjoying it. We’re also extremely happy with the professionalism of the staff and the conditions in which the kids learn, play, eat and sleep. A definite five-star review from us.

Ryan House has been fantastic with offering us space, helping my daughter settle in quickly and really good with communication with us as parents and my daughter as well. She has been in preschool since May 2023 and absolutely loves it. This is her 3rd nursery setting and the only one she enjoyed from the word go. The nursery set up is vibrant and engaging, the staff members are friendly, honest and conscientious. They make an effort to have different activities, and to know each child and their interests and weaknesses. I can see them having encouraged a lot of learning, confidence and social interaction in my daughter. We would choose Ryan House again for sure if we needed to and highly recommend it.

I cannot recommend Ryan House Day Nursery enough. I am an incredibly anxious, first-time mum and the thought of putting my daughter into the care of strangers was so overwhelming, especially because my daughter has a litany of allergies. But Ryan House was simply incredible from day one. The amazing chef was the best teammate I could have in ensuring my daughter did not incur any allergic reactions whilst eating there. And the care she received from all of the staff was just incredible. She came out every day with a beaming smile, I received daily updates and photos on the app. I wish we didn’t have to leave! If you’re considering Ryan House, I urge you to take a tour and meet the staff and see how happy the children are. You won’t regret it.

My child has attended this facility for a fair few years and in those years has drastically grown in confidence. We picked this nursery for the behaviour of the children, 'forest school' and quirky extras it offers. The staff are exceptional, in particular her three favourites who my child adores and talks about. She has made friends for life here. Well done Ryan House.

Whilst her key person has changed a few times, the same staff are there which is usually a good sign. Our daughter has developed into a social and confident child with the help of the staff in the Tigers room.

Overall, an exceptional nursery that I would recommend highly.

My child attends nursery just two afternoons a week and despite him not being there that often, the staff are invested in getting to know him and his interests in order to get the most out of his sessions. The pictures and videos we receive of him really look like he’s enjoying the surroundings, staff and other children which is so important. They always ensure the children are outside as much as possible as well as empowering them to go off on the climbing facilities, doing crafts, stories, songs etc. My child always comes home singing a new song he’s picked up at nursery! We’re so glad he attends Ryan House and would definitely recommend.

My children are currently at Ryan House Day nursery. It is a fantastic nursery, great staff and management and brilliant facilities (climbing room, big field to play on, 'forest School' and trips out). Since attending Ryan House my children have developed so much. There are lots of activities and learning to get the children ready for school. My older, disabled child attended Ryan House and he came along so much due to the dedication and care of the staff. All of the staff are great with the children. The managers are also informative and do a great job. The feedback provided at pickup is detailed as well as in the app. This is the second nursery I have sent my children to and it is definitely the better one.

Great nursery with a lovely team and large spaces for the children. My daughter has enjoyed her time there and she seems happy and secure. She has attended since she was a baby. I would totally recommend!

Very caring staff with low turnover. Good photo updates to keep you updated on what your child is doing when at nursery. Really wide range of activities indoors and outdoors. Children are encouraged to learn adult skills safely and with good supervision. Good sickness policies.

Our daughter has been attending Ryan House Day Nursery for 8 months now and absolutely loves it. We get regular updates via the app as well as a monthly phone call from our key worker. All of the staff that we have met have always been very welcoming and friendly and are very passionate about their jobs and encourage development.

We highly recommend Ryan House Day Nursery, our daughter has come on so much since starting and absolutely loves attending. The staff are fantastic and communication is great through the ‘Famly’ app.

Our child simply loves the nursery. He has a great relationship with the staff, they are extremely professional, super thoughtful, and as a parent we are so thankful for their hard work. We appreciate what they do on a daily basis. The kids get tons of sensory play, time outside, they create art and we especially like all the fun activities around public holidays and other festivities. We do get a monthly feedback call on how our child develops and to ask questions which is another great service. Can’t stress enough how much peace of mind it brings to parents knowing our child is in good hands and is actually having the best time, learning new things. The only negative point I want to mention is the outside area which could be a little bit less messy and look more inviting, but I truly believe the kids don’t care about this at all. We’d highly recommend Ryan House Day Nursery.
