Ryan House Day Nursery

The baby room staff were truly exceptional going above and beyond every day to create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment. It's clear how much they genuinely care about each child, and that gave us so much reassurance as parents.

The transition from the baby room to the toddler room was handled brilliantly. It was smooth, thoughtful, and really tailored to our child's needs, which made a potentially big change feel completely natural and stress-free.

The toddler room continues that same high standard of care, with staff who are attentive, supportive, and encouraging of development and independence. The staff are also very mindful towards cultural and religious beliefs. We really appreciate the healthy and well-balanced menu, which shows a real commitment to the our child's wellbeing.

Overall, we feel incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful nursery and would highly recommend it to any parent.

Our daughter attends Ryan House and absolutely loves it. She's happy to be dropped off every day and all of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The app is updated throughout the day so we know her schedule and what she's eating, and we get photos of what they're up to regularly. We have never doubted that she is safe and well looked after when at nursery, and seeing her grow such strong relationships with the staff has been lovely.

The Preschool teachers are outstanding and ensured our eldest child was more than ready for school. They provided fun and educational sessions rooted in play. The teaching of phonics is so engaging, well taught and fun! Our child was always coming home singing songs and telling us what she had learnt that day. Learning phonics in an engaging and fun way like this really aligns with reception year and made her transition so much easier and ensured she has thrived at school. They developed and instilled a love of learning and curiosity in our children which we cannot thank them for enough.

She's made great progress in all aspects since she's been here and we receive good communication from the staff.

The nursery provides variety of different healthy foods.

The nursery also arrange stay and play sessions time to time which is great to see your little one's in their day to day environment.

Choosing a nursery is never easy, and like many parents, we first considered distance. After visiting more than eight nurseries, Ryan quickly stood out and remained our first choice. From the very beginning, the team made an outstanding impression-warm, genuine, and truly passionate about what they do.

What we loved most was the environment: spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed so children can eat, play, and rest in separate areassomething we felt was very important. The meal options also impressed us, with a varied and healthy menu that aligned with our Mediterranean background.

Most importantly, the staff are exceptional. They manage a very demanding job with kindness, patience, and positivity, creating an atmosphere where our daughter feels happy and cared for every day.

My 4 year old son has been attending this nursery from 6 months. It's a great nursery led very well by the management. You can see from the children's faces that they are all happy there. The level of education & play is just right and I feel that my boy is very well equipped to start school in the coming weeks. I appreciated that safety aspect and strict guidelines on entering the nursery for collection. All of the staff are warm and friendly and took great care of my son.

Our child has been attending the nursery since February 2025, and we are extremely pleased with the experience. The staff communication has been excellent, with regular updates promptly shared via the app. The team is fantastic - our child always recognises them, smiles, and seems very happy in their care. The staff make a great effort to create a stimulating play environment, offering a wide variety of activities each day and thoughtfully reorganising the room to provide better use of space. Additionally, the nursery is currently undergoing lovely decorative improvements, which reflect their dedication to creating an even better environment for the children. Exceedingly happy with the Ryan House team, who are always so friendly and caring. Our children are given such a great environment with varied activities. I'm impressed how each staff member shows genuine passion and gets to know each child as an individual. Hi I'm very happy with the nursery building, the stuff especially whit the management of it is all good and helpful! My son is happy,learning and everything comes from it.Well happy with everything thank you Ryan house and stuff

There also seems to be a very good variety of food. My daughter can be quite selective but is definitely trying more foods now.

Our daughter has been going to Ryan's House for the last two years. She is just about to move up into preschool and is very excited. All the staff are professional and friendly. Some making such an impression that she speaks of them outside of nursery.

My 3-year-old (pre-school) and 1-year-old (tigers room) both enjoy going to Ryan House. In pre-school there have been lots of 'school leavers' activities including phonics, writing their name and trying on the school uniform. They run a forest school although my 3-year-old wasn't very keen on going. In the tigers room we get a few photos on the app every day and see what activities are planned for that day. The climbing room is great and the outdoor space has recently been improved. They also have access to the cricket field. In the last few years there have been a lot of changes with the nursery being taken over by Grandir but everything has settled down now. Sometimes the menu seems a bit too adventurous for 1-year-olds!

Amazing nursery, my son has been coming since he was 9 months old and I have always felt at such ease with leaving him due to the staff doing such an amazing job. My son absolutely loves going. Thank you Ryan House staff!

My daughter has been at Ryan House for the last year and I've been so impressed with the love, care and attention they've shown her. We receive an update each day with the activities the children will be doing and the staff take the time to put out activities they know the children have a particular interest in; it's great seeing how child-centred they are. The majority of days we will also receive photos of what our daughter has been up to which is lovely. They frequently update the app throughout the day so it's great to have the ongoing reassurance around food, naps and nappies. Ryan House have actively taken on board feedback from parents and regularly communicate the changes they're making and what events are planned in the future. I couldn't recommend this wonderful nursery more. Thank you Ryan House team!

We moved our son to Ryan House after a bad experience with a local nursery. We were immediately greeted with warmth from the staff and an impressive playroom with lots of different imaginative props and costumes as well as a fantastic climbing room. Alongside this, our son has issues with his speech and the staff went above and beyond to help him with this alongside allowing his speech therapist to visit and show staff what to do with him. In addition, the frequent trips to a local care home to engage with the residents and trips to town on the bus to a Chinese restaurant we are so happy we made the change to this nursery.

Ryan House is a phenomenal nursery. Every day, activities are laid out for the children and they get such a variety. Our daughter loves it there and the key people always tell us what she's been up to and where we can support her or just celebrate in her learning. They subtly help the children to learn how to look after themselves and prepare for school/life, all in a really fun way and a relaxed environment. We came from a much more expensive nursery but our experience of Ryan House is exceptional in comparison - the processes and management all just work and it's a really happy, supportive atmosphere. The staff turnover is low which says it all really - they treat the staff well and help them progress in their careers - these happy staff go the extra mile for the children. I absolutely love it and I'm only sorry we didn't find it earlier for my other children!

My first child attended Ryan House from age 10 months to 4 years (she's now in school), and now my second child attends the nursery. We only have positive things to say about Ryan House. The staff are brilliant and so attentive. Both children have always had the best time every day with so many activities to keep them busy. Their confidence has grown too, especially with my first child. The staff at Ryan House really helped her confidence grow ready for starting primary school.

I would however like to say that the lady in preschool is always so welcoming, smiles and always provides great feedback on collections she truly is an asset to the nursery and the kids love her.

We have been so impressed with all aspects of the nursery. The staff are wonderful and have helped my son to settle in well. I feel confident that I’m leaving him in an environment where he can learn and explore. We love receiving updates throughout the day and seeing what the children are up to. We would definitely recommend the nursery.
