Set in a fully upgraded and refurbished Victorian School building, Cherubs Kimberley has been providing high quality early years care and education for children since June 2003. Spread across 4 age-appropriate rooms, a self-contained Baby Unit and with 4 different outdoor spaces (including Baby Garden, Toddler Garden and Pre-School Garden) for children to enjoy (curated bespoke by Timotay Playscapes) - this nursery really does have it all.

The nursery has its own tranquil and sensory rooms, too. Here, Educators plan targeted STEM activities or provide additional support for those children with special editions needs (SEN).

My child was there just over a year. He had three key workers (2 of which were OK) within the first 6 months. My usually outgoing child had become an elective mute. Management did not listen to me and referred my child to speech therapy. This was a waste of an overstretched service's time. My son is
now at a new nursery and chattering away.

Cherubs is an excellent nursery. I would highly recommend it to family and friends. My daughter is always excited about going to nursery every morning, which shows how warm and welcoming the staff are there. I always get excellent feedback when I come to pick her up and get to see what she has been
up to on their facebook page which is a great idea. I've been using this nursery for the past 7 years as my son also went here and think the staff are fantastic!

This nursery is just so full of life the staff are extremely friendly and supportive and the children just look so happy.


Satisfied with the hygiene standards food standards (5 star rating) and excellent play areas.


No strange feeling when visiting cherubs Kimberley.

I am really pleased with the nursery. I feel my child is well looked after and cared for by all the staff. She is taught new things and things I may not think to teach her or in a different way to how we would at home. The facilities are amazing, my child loves being outdoors which is one reason why
I chose this nursery, plus all the animals. The staff are all very friendly and happy to talk about the days activities and answer any concerns. They are also available to email and always reply really quickly. My little one settled in really well and has done as she has moved up to different rooms, this is done gradually which helps. The menu is vast and my child always eats it all!

My daughter has attended Cherubs Day Nursery 3-4 days a week since she was approximately 7 months old. She is now 2 and has thrived during her time here so far. She is a happy, funny, confident and outgoing child and I feel this is largely due to the input and guidance from the staff at Cherubs. Every
effort is always made to accommodate any wishes or preferences you have for your child and the environment is home from home. The outdoor facilities are fantastic and the animals are wonderful and loved by all the children. I am due to have twins in April and will be sending them both to Cherubs safe in the knowledge that they will be happy and develop wonderfully within this environment, I have highly recommended Cherubs to other parents and will continue to do so in the future.

My son has come on well in preschool, developing his communication skills. He takes part in the extra sessions (dance and multi-skills) put on by nursery. He's never not wanted to go to nursery in the mornings and has made lots of friends who he socialises with outside of nursery. We usually get weekly
targets to fill in with our own comments from home which we like to do because it keeps us involved in his development. The manager is wonderful with the children and shows that she knows every single of of them, providing opportunities for the setting to move forwards. We would be happy to pay for extra visits out if there were more on offer.

Cherubs Kimberley is a great nursery. My son has attended for 2 years and really enjoys it and he has really come out of himself since he has been going to cherubs. The activities are good, nursery and playground set out well and all the staff are lovely and great with the children. Wouldn't have taken
my son anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Job Title: Area Manager Joined: 2007

Hello, I'm Laura - Area Manager for Cherubs Kimberley. I have been part of Cherubs Nurseries since 2007 and incredibly fortunate to work across multiple Cherubs Nurseries during my career so far. Doing this has allowed me to really understand the expectations and the need to ensure we provide high-quality childcare every day. We take our role in the early years seriously and are always keen to go above and beyond where we can.


I am incredibly passionate about giving all children the very best start. In addition to my Area Manager role, I am the Group Safeguarding and SEND Lead. This means I work with all the nurseries to ensure we provide tailored care to those with additional needs.
