Set in a fully upgraded and refurbished Victorian School building, Cherubs Kimberley has been providing high quality early years care and education for children since June 2003. Spread across 4 age-appropriate rooms, a self-contained Baby Unit and with 4 different outdoor spaces (including Baby Garden, Toddler Garden and Pre-School Garden) for children to enjoy (curated bespoke by Timotay Playscapes) - this nursery really does have it all.

The nursery has its own tranquil and sensory rooms, too. Here, Educators plan targeted STEM activities or provide additional support for those children with special editions needs (SEN).

An excellent nursery great staff, friendly and helpful. All work very hard, caring and supportive. The rooms are clean, well equipped, lots of good activities planned for the children. Dinners/food no issues good variety. Outside space is great well planned 'zones' for play. We've used the nursery for
4 years and never had any issues with the care our children have received.

Friendly, consistent staff who know the children well. Lots of opportunities for the children to play outside and I really like that the children get taken on walks to the park, woods and library. The food is very good too.

Since my son started nursery he has only excelled and been given the appropriate support and one to one to help him develop. He has learnt so much from the staff who have taken the time to help him with his additional needs and due to this, he is now progressing at an incredible rate! I definitely recommend
this nursery and all the staff including the management team! They work so well as a team and communication with us as parents is also fantastic.

What a fantastic, nurturing environment. The staff are very caring and clearly love being with the children and helping them to grow and develop. We've always felt our child is safe and happy. We highly recommend Cherubs Kimberley. What a wonderful place for children to learn.

My son has, for the past three weeks, done some extra days at nursery due to his grandparents being on holiday (who usually look after him two days a week). I was very nervous about how he would cope as he struggles to have decent naps etc., but he has thrived and it is a credit to all the staff in
Daisy room. Please, could you pass on my thanks to all the ladies in Daisy room and specifically his key worker. My son has taken a while to settle into nursery (due to him only attending a minimal amount of days each week) but the staff his key worker have gone above and beyond to support and help him to settle in. You can tell how much they all care and it is so reassuring to see the support and attention they give to each child. The joy his keyworker had when he finally crawled for the first time was lovely. My son now gets excited to come to the nursery and has a beaming smile when he enters Daisy room and sees the staff.

All staff in the daisy room are amazing. I can't say one fault.
They have made me fell 110% comfortable. From when she started, they are all best friends and no more tears.
Fantastic staff. All excellent. Can't thank enough.

Since our child has attended Cherubs, just before he turned 1, we have been very satisfied with the level of care and education he has received. The staff who have worked with him have had a huge part to play in this. Our son feels safe and happy in their care and because of this, we have seen him thrive
in learning new things and forming new friendships.
All staff are always welcoming and friendly, including those who do not work with our son, such as the cleaner and kitchen staff. We are also impressed with recent improvements in communication such as the blossom app for parents. We would highly recommend Cherubs Nursery to others.

Children have developed a good bond/relationship with the adults in the setting. The children enjoy their time at nursery and I am 100% confident that the care the children receive is excellent.
Children's social skills are developing well thanks to activities ran at the nursery.

Our little girl joined Cherubs when she was 16 months old as we moved house and were nervous about moving her nursery. All of the staff in the baby room were absolutely lovely, helpful, kind and supportive and she settled so well. Now she’s moved up to the next room they are all equally as fantastic
- she loves going to nursery and seeing her run up to the ladies with wide arms means I can go to work happy. We’re really grateful to everybody at Cherubs and would highly recommend them.

Our daughter loves going to nursery, especially making use of the different outside areas. Her key worker and other team members make her feel valued and loved and we know she's being cared for whilst we are at work (helps negate the mummy guilt!). She's been going since she was nine months old and
will move on to school in September. We know she will be well prepared for school, such as giving the children an opportunity to perform a concert, learn through play and communicate with her next setting. The team is cohesive and great at communication with parents. There is a real drive to provide a range of indoor and outdoor opportunities. Without hesitation I would recommend Cherubs Kimberley to anyone who will listen!

Cherubs Kimberley have a fantastic team of staff that really go over and above for the children. Feeling secure your child is being looked after is essential especially if you work a distance away from them, you will be guaranteed to feel this way with this nursery.
The food is all made on site and
is varied and nutritious, any dietary requirements are catered for with no issues.
Our child has thrived in this nursery. Me and my husband honestly cannot recommend them enough.

Cherubs staff go out of their way to make my child feel happy at nursery and I couldn’t be more grateful. My daughter loves the nursery and is making good progress in her development too due to the range of activities and opportunities staff plan for the children. The outdoor facilities are also excellent,
especially when compared to some smaller nurseries and the beach is a particular highlight for my daughter. Having external clubs which come into the nursery is something my daughter also loves and she always has a lot to say about what she has been doing each day. We are so happy that our child attends this nursery and can’t comment highly enough on the staff.

The nursery has a very good system for feeding the children what they need to know.
My only concern is that my son should have moved up to pre-school by now (he was 3 in March and won't go until the end of July).

Laura Bowler

Hello, I'm Laura - Area Manager for Cherubs Kimberley. I have been part of Cherubs Nurseries since 2007 and incredibly fortunate to work across multiple Cherubs Nurseries during my career so far. Doing this has allowed me to really understand the expectations and the need to ensure we provide high-quality childcare every day. We take our role in the early years seriously and are always keen to go above and beyond where we can.


I am incredibly passionate about giving all children the very best start. In addition to my Area Manager role, I am the Group Safeguarding and SEND Lead. This means I work with all the nurseries to ensure we provide tailored care to those with additional needs.
