We have two children at Cherubs and they both absolutely love it there. Been there for years. It's the place where you know your kids will have an amazing day and are being looked after. Each member of staff shows a huge amount of interest and care towards each child.
The nursery has been very supportive
with one of my child's need for speech and language support. It's been very helpfull.

Cherubs has been so welcoming to our Family. Having a very large age gap meant we were a little out of touch with Nurseries however all the staff have made everything easy and clear. The settling in process is amazing and I have found it makes the child much more settled with the free sensory class
per week as they get used to the room, staff and other children. This is such a fabulous idea! We were given a tour of the whole nursery when we first enquired and this was very in depth and informative but also very welcoming and friendly even in the rooms where our daughter wouldn't be for a number of years. Absolutely recommended for all ages of children!!

Highly knowledgeable and caring staff that have helped bring the best out of my son, effective communication and clean
throughout I don't have a single complaint about the service they have provided
Thank you to all that have worked with my son I really appreciate it.

Both of my children have attended Cherubs Kimberley over the last 5 years, the care from every member of staff has always been of the highest standard.
My children have always been happy at cherubs and enjoyed their time at nursery.
The care taken to cater for all children is incredible, both children
have allergies and I have always felt confident leaving them in the care of cherubs staff knowing they will be looked after extremely well.
Would definitely recommend this nursery!

My son has been at cherubs Kimberly for exactly a year now and a couldn't recommend this nursery enough.
He was 10 months old when he started and has loved it there from day 1. I love being able to see what he's up to everyday and seeing all the activities he gets involved in a lot that I would have
never thought of trying yet at home like baking. They have helped him come on so much even when he's maybe been slower than his peers and they always reassure me when I've had concerns about his development. His current teachers, Ruby, Sarah and Tia are so wonderful always so friendly and they look after him so well.

My eldest has been attending Cherubs in Kimberley since he was 1 years old, and my eldest joined at around 6 months old both starting in the baby room and working there way up as they grow. Every staff member we have met on the way have been so incredible with both my children and always cared for them,
their interests and always encouraging them to be the best they can be. They have helped build not only their confidence but also their learning ability's and skills. It's very clear they all feel so passionately about their jobs! Both my children love the activities they do each day, which are always so imaginative! And the food they eat always sounds amazing and again throughly enjoyed! My eldest always comes home with the most wonderful stories of his friends at nursery, and always talks so positively about all the staff from his room leaders, to the office staff, to the chef himself. Everyone always makes such an effort with the children! Would recommend this nursery to anyone!

My son has been going to cherubs since September 2025 and we cannot recommend the nursery enough.

So much so my friend moved her son from a nursery he had been going to for 2 years after me telling her how good Cherubs is and in comparison to the other nursery, the care they have for each individual

child is remarkable.

They treat them like they are their own. Interact with them as a group and individuals. The update in the app throughout the day of what they have been up to is a massive reassurance and lovely to see.

They do so many different things from cooking, insect searching in the garden, playing, group and individual activities, trips to the shops and library which is amazing for there learning, social and development skills. Staff call you to update you of anything that is needed throughout the day.

They keep you updated with emails for relevant information.

My son loves his time at nursery and I can drop him off knowing he is very good, safe hands.

The enthusiasm the staff have for my daughter is superb.I thank them every time pick them up.
I wonder sometimes if it's my little one or them who have enjoyed the day more, and who actually scrubs paint of their hands and and face more.
My child's progress is noticeable on every occasion they visit, and
I enjoy revisiting the songs they've done during the day,as we journey home in the car.
Thank you to wonderful staff.

Been bringing my son to Cherubs Kimberley since he was a year old. He is now in preschool getting ready to start Primary school this September.
The team have been amazing at bringing him out of his shell, making him feel comfortable and confident.
I have now enrolled my second son for the new term,
I couldn't see myself sending my children anywhere else.
I've built great relationships with a number of the staff and feel fully confident in those caring for my children, would always recommend Cherubs Kimberly.

We absolutely love this nursery. The team take such great care of our son and it's clear how much they genuinely care about the children. The nursery staff seem to genuinely care about the children and do their best to ensure that the children get the most out of their time there.
My daughter has developed so much since going to nursery. She is a confident little girl and has come out of her shell so much since going to the setting.
We
encourage her to be independent at home and this is reinforced at nursery.
The staff support the developmental milestones we put into place at home and regularly update us on her progress. It's clear they want to do the right thing and see her grow.
My daughter always has smiles and something to show me when she leaves nursery for the day and is excited to go there in the morning.

Our little boy has been at the nursery for one year now and we couldn't be happier. He started in the babies room where he quickly settled and bonded with the staff. He is now in Buttercups and absolutely thriving. The staff in that room including Sarah, Jamie, Ruby and Tia care so much and it is so
lovely to see the thought that goes in to setting up activities for the children everyday. They do baking, lots of messy play and are outside a lot of the time which is great. The staff seem to love their job and have an excellent working relationship with one another. We couldn't have chosen a better setting for our little boy. The staff take time to get to know parents and I love chatting to each of them at drop off and pick up. They are attentive to the children and always put their safety and needs first. They are an asset to the nursery And we are so grateful to have them as important role models and care givers of our little boy.

This review is based on the two stay and play sessions the pre-school team have recently put on for us families. We have attended both and would really like to say a big thank you to the team. We really enjoyed it, our little girl enjoyed showing us what she does while she is at pre-school, it was also
a great opportunity to meet some of her friends and their parents and have a little chat with the staff members. Sessions like this have made us feel a little more involved with the nursery and helping us to understand the type of environment our little girl spends time in. We really appreciate the time and effort that staff put in to making the sessions fun. We look forward to attending more. Thanks again pre-school team.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.725)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.725) out of 10 for Cherubs Kimberley is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 23 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 23 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.873 for Cherubs Kimberley is calculated as follows: ( (241 Excellents x 5) + (33 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 275 Ratings = 4.873
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.852 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Cherubs Kimberley is based on 23 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 135 number of registered child places is 27. 23 Positive Reviews ÷ 27 = 0.852
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Hello, I'm Laura - Area Manager for Cherubs Kimberley. I have been part of Cherubs Nurseries since 2007 and incredibly fortunate to work across multiple Cherubs Nurseries during my career so far. Doing this has allowed me to really understand the expectations and the need to ensure we provide high-quality childcare every day. We take our role in the early years seriously and are always keen to go above and beyond where we can.

I am incredibly passionate about giving all children the very best start. In addition to my Area Manager role, I am the Group Safeguarding and SEND Lead. This means I work with all the nurseries to ensure we provide tailored care to those with additional needs.
