This is such a lovely nursery! My daughter has attended for over a year now and will continue until she goes to school. She has learnt and continues to learn so much. I would highly recommend the Queen of Hearts.

My daughter started at the nursery last September, she is very settled and has made lots of friends. She has thrived with the help of the wonderful staff members, developing her knowledge. She has developed her confidence and independence, hopefully preparing her for big school in September.

My 2 year old loves nursery although we sometimes have a few tears on drop off. I always love spying on him on pick up, watching him playing and having so much fun. I didn't intend on sending him anywhere else other than Queen of Hearts Nursery. The layout is great and every time he has moved to the
next level I have noticed him enjoying his time there even more. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and my son loves them. What more could you want?

Queen of Hearts Nursery has really helped my son to come out of his shell. Since he has started, we have noticed a huge improvement in his language and also his social skills in regards to his peers. The nursery offers lots of different activities so I know he is learning through play. The garden is
fantastic.
The staff make me feel that my son is cared for to the highest standards and he tells me how much he likes them. I would strongly recommend this brilliant nursery!!

My daughter has been attending the nursery for just over a year now and she has come on leaps and bounds with her confidence and knowledge. The nursery is such a warm setting and all the staff are friendly. My daughter loves it and talks about all the fun activities she does, especially the dance singing,
French and Spanish lessons. The outside play area is great. The cook is brilliant and my daughter gets at least one hot meal a day with fruit snacks which are healthy and balanced. The nursery have been great with her dietary requirements.

My daughter started at Queen of Hearts Nursery in June 2016 and due to this being my first child I felt very guilty leaving her to go to work. However, the staff made this so much easier with how caring and helpful they were. Nothing is too much trouble and they are so pleasant when you call to check
on your child or email across. She loves going to nursery and has special bonds with her key carers and children in her section. The staff are brilliant and the surroundings, gardens and activities they do with the children is lovely. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since joining and this is down to such amazing staff, who I know genuinely care about her well-being and development.

Brilliant nursery!! Can't fault it.

Lovely friendly staff and the garden sold it to us over a year ago. Lots to do with messy play. Chefs food is great and they log how much they eat and nappy changes. My daughter is very happy there and I recommended it to my friend and they have joined also. Only down fall is the carpark, it's hard
getting in and out, best to get there early for a space.

I can't think of anywhere else I would want to send my children. The staff are friendly, caring, yet professional. The nursery itself is light, airy and immaculately kept. Activities are varied and enjoyable. Nothing is too much trouble. My only issue is that my children have to leave when they are

I knew Queen of Hearts Nursery and Pre-School was right for my daughter the minute I walked through the doors. The staff were so welcoming and it was beautifully presented. My daughter has settled extremely well and is always so excited to go into the nursery. I am really pleased with the progress she
has made because the staff go above and beyond to make learning fun as well educational. I am so excited her future at Queen of Hearts.

This nursery has been amazing! My daughter has never been away from me and they have put their hearts and kindness into helping her settle and feel as though she is in a safe place when I am not around. They have gone above and beyond my expectations of helping both my daughter and I settle to this
big change of going to nursery! They always have smiles on their faces and and reassure you everything will be fine. Truely amazing group of people so happy I found this nursery!!

Since attending the nursery in July my daughter has gone from strength to strength. After a week she wanted to feed herself constantly, she is far more vocal than other children we know at her age, her understanding of language is above her age group and in general, she seems to grasp things a lot better.
All of which I put down to the staff and the level of attention and support they are given.

My daughter started in September 2016 and has already learnt so much. Queen of Hearts is helping to nurture my daughter into the little grown up she is becoming. She loves going and shows me what they have been up to. Highly recommended adapt learning to her needs and desires.

My son attends this nursery and loves it here, he has come on in leaps and bounds with his learning in language, numbers and dancing. They teach as well as having so much fun, my son frequently speaks fondly of all the staff (and children), he always eats better here than he does at home (by some miracle!)
They put on shows and include parents in the child's learning as well as inviting grandparents in for special days too. If I ever have any concerns with my child the staff have always been exceptionally helpful for example my son's speech was slower than most but these guys worked with him and myself to make improvements and it showed. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. Lovely setting and garden to play in too.

Current Review Score: 9.2 (9.164)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.2 (9.164) out of 10 for Busy Bees Kettering Central is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.4 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.764 for Busy Bees Kettering Central is calculated as follows: ( (82 Excellents x 5) + (23 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 106 Ratings = 4.764
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.4 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Kettering Central is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 90 number of registered child places is 18. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 18 = 0.5
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
