ABC123 - Home from Home Parkside

My son has been attending the nursery for more than one year. We are very happy and he is enjoying it.

Staff are amazing and helpful. My child is happy to go.

My child is happy here and is developing well. Any concerns we've had have been dealt with swiftly. Excellent daily communication from staff.

I had my own personal issues going on at the time and the nursery, the owner especially, was completely and utterly unsupportive, and gave dangerous/unsafe entry into the building. Mealtimes didn’t appear to be sufficiently monitored as on numerous occasions they came home with a full lunchbox or someone else’s things in the bag which isn’t good practice with food allergies. My child also came home with stickers on their back with their name, even after attending for 18 months, the staff responsible for each group was constantly changing. I fully understand the reasons behind the latest Ofsted report and would agree with the points they have raised, you especially can’t let small people climb an outside fire escape as an entry point.

I think in this nursery my children have had excellent care. The staff are the best and so are the managers. My oldest child finished this year and he learned a lot and is ready for school. He likes to come back when we pick up his sister. Very good nursery, I can happily recommend this nursery to my friends.

The nursery has been amazing with supporting my child and her development. She has come on amazingly with everything. They work closely with parents to make sure they are meeting the needs of children and parents getting the support they need.

Our daughter loves attending nursery, the staff are friendly and always happy to answer any questions. Activities are great and there's lots for children to do. There is a daily walk to the park across the road as well as lots of outside space at the nursery itself. Staff have been incredibly supportive during the tricky toilet training phase! I would highly recommend Parkside to any parents looking for childcare.
