Sandhills Boston is a purpose-built, modern nursery conveniently located in the busy market town of Boston. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The nursery rooms are carefully designed to encourage learning and development depending on the children's age. Each room provides a safe and nurturing surrounding for all children, and staffed by a team of long-serving nursery practitioners who make the setting such a special place.

Outdoor play holds great importance at Sandhills Boston, with all rooms having their own garden to allow free-flow time all year round where children can choose whether they access the indoor or outdoor space. The large adventure garden boasts a mud kitchen, playdales trim-trail equipment, a large sandpit, tunnels, bikes, trikes and plenty of ‘loose parts’ – so there is always lots for the children to explore!

I’ve had my little boy in Sandhills Nursery for a few years now and honestly cannot fault the staff, they have always been good with him and he has blossomed into a lovely little boy and has learnt so much. I’m sad that this will be his last year before big school and I’m sure he will miss the staff
so much.

My daughter started preschool in Sept 17 and after having a bad experience with a previous nursery it took a while for her to settle in but the ladies were fab with her making her feel safe and building her confidence day by day. now she is a confident little lady who has made lots of new friends, loves
learning and doing all the activities they do. She loves attending preschool and doesn't want to come home when its time. All the staff are lovely and I shall definitely be sending her brother here next year and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery/preschool :)

I looked at quite a few different nurseries before choosing this one and I'm so glad I did, my daughter loves it here and I'm so happy going back to work knowing she is happy and safe. The staff are professional and friendly. The facilities look great and clean. She is always fed well and the EYlog
is great for seeing what she gets up to during the day.

My two youngest children have attended this nursery for almost two years. They've both come on leaps and bounds with confidence. The staff are hugely welcoming and it's like walking into a friends house with how comfortable they make you feel.


Both girls have learnt so much from the staff who are

always more than happy to encourage and support them with anything from the normal skills right up to zipping their coats. We are updated almost every session they attend through Eylog.


This nursery provides an array of areas for the children to play and spark activity. They have a sensory room, a number of gardens with sandpits and play equipment and different rooms for different age groups. The nursery teaches the girls structure and routine but also provides them with extra skills. Last year at Forrest school my child learnt about camp fires and how to light them safely. She also had the opportunity to learn coordination and sportsmanship through Bears Coaching attending the school.

Our granddaughter lives with us and because of our work commitments, has to attend a nursery. Sandhills was my first choice back in August 2016 and is still my first choice to this day.
My granddaughter has gained so much from attending Sandhills, in confidence, communication and learning. She loves
her group of friends and has such a soft spot for one of the ladies that works there.
I would seriously recommend Sandhills to anyone that is looking for a nursery.

We really can't recommend this nursery enough! Our daughter previously attended a different nursery and wasn't very happy. We decided to move her to Sandhills and it really was the best decision we made! They worked closely with us as a family from day 1 to ensure the transition was made smoothly and
we felt so happy to leave her in the hands of the lovely nurturing staff! The environment is always well enriched with lots of fun activities for the children to get involved in and our daughter is always bringing home lovely artwork from all the messy activities she has been doing! They plan lovely little trips and it's so nice to see pictures of our daughter out and about exploring with her friends! She has come on so much since starting and has an amazing bond with her keyworker! We really could continue to say so many more fantastic things about this nursery but this box isn't big enough! We are just truly grateful to all the staff for everything they do! Keep up the good work!

My daughter attended this nursery from the age of one until starting primary. All the staff were very friendly and taught my daughter a lot. I never had any complaints to make as they were fantastic. My daughter cried many mornings when dropping her off but the staff here were very understanding and
kind. The journals were amazing too and have given a lovely keepsake for us.

All 3 of my grandchildren have and still are attending this nursery. The staff are professional enthusiastic and are always very friendly. My Grandson loves being there. He has changed so much in the time that he has attended he loves going loves playing with his friends and absolutely loves lunch time
his favourite chicken curry ( When they come and stay at my house I ask him what he would like for lunch the answer is always chicken curry). He also loves the outside area and often shares with me what he has been doing during the week. My youngest daughter is having a baby and she has already decided that this is going to be the nursery her baby will attend. I couldn't recommend enough. Thank you to all management and staff you're doing a fab job keep up the good work!

Amazing nursery!

My son has ASD and needs extra support and can be very challenging. Sandhills Day Nursery has provided him with all the help he needs to develop social skills his ability to communicate, his behaviour and understanding of his emotions. Really excellent nursery, with very professional staff. I was apprehensive as I have had a bad experience sending my 2 year old to a different nursery before, but I really shouldn't have been. Staff are all very warm and friendly, and excellent with the children.


My son comes home with things he

has made whilst hes been there, which is great because they do a lot of messy, crafty things (saves my house getting so messy) :-) Also there is a fabulous garden area with sandpit and lots of other things for the children to do and explore.


They keep you updated on what your child has been up to and if they have any concerns etc.


All in all excellent staff and venue, resulting in an excellent nursery.

Sandhills is great with my daughter. They settled her in beautifully and always keep her occupied. And she loves the dinners they make, she never comes home hungry and she's made plenty of friends. Her speech is developing really well since she has been there.

My daughter has been attending Sandhills day nursery since April 2015 she is going to be 3 this month I would fully recommend Sandhills. It took around 6 months for her to fully settle and get used to it all but now really enjoys going and coming home to tell us about what she's been doing. They have
a great, thought out menu which all meals are provided. Lovely ladies that are very helpful and supportive with parents and Child's needs. Overall great nursery!

My little girl started Sandhills last year there were a few weeks of her crying and being unsettled which made me sad, but the ladies there are all amazing and soon settled her they are all so kind and my child absolutely loves them all, they also help with the potty training etc can't praise them enough
Would definitely recommend Sandhills to other parents wanting somewhere safe and caring to send there children.

Sandhills nursery is a fantastic nursery and my daughter has grown so much confidence since she's been going since sept 2015. My daughter has grown the confidence to talk a lot more, she interacts with kids a lot more and is learning more and more each time she's there. Wouldn't of chose any other nursery.
Definitely recommend this nursery.
