Sandhills Boston is a purpose-built, modern nursery conveniently located in the busy market town of Boston. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The nursery rooms are carefully designed to encourage learning and development depending on the children's age. Each room provides a safe and nurturing surrounding for all children, and staffed by a team of long-serving nursery practitioners who make the setting such a special place.

Outdoor play holds great importance at Sandhills Boston, with all rooms having their own garden to allow free-flow time all year round where children can choose whether they access the indoor or outdoor space. The large adventure garden boasts a mud kitchen, playdales trim-trail equipment, a large sandpit, tunnels, bikes, trikes and plenty of ‘loose parts’ – so there is always lots for the children to explore!

I'm kept up to date with his progress, and when he needs extra support, the staff are really friendly and helpful towards parents and family members to help him keep a good routine and guide him through his early years and development.

I can't speak highly enough of Sandhills Day Nursery (Boston). I have two children there currently, three and just turned one, and an older child who attended for 2-years. My children all settled in so well and so quickly. They enjoy school, and I have never had a problem or a single tear with them
going. And that's all down to the amazing care they receive; they feel safe and loved. And I wouldn't want anyone else looking after my children. A massive thank you to all of the staff!

My son loves attending the nursery and asks most days if he is going. His speech has come on so much, and I think this is down to the nursery staff helping him. He brings a picture home most days which he is always proud of, and is always singing songs that he has learnt at nursery. I couldn’t be happier
with the service.

The nursery has been welcoming from day one. Any questions are answered promptly. The staff were very reassuring during the first few weeks about how our child was settling, and we have seen a huge improvement in confidence, social skills and development in the time at nursery. The team have been excellent,
and our child often tries to get back into the nursery after we have completed pick up! The range of activities is engaging and changed weekly, and messy play features regularly, so I can avoid this at home! Thank you for looking after our little one so well.

Wonderful staff. My son gets so excited to go to nursery now. Very informative and always helpful. The staff are extremely welcoming as I come to drop and pick up my son, and the app that they provide so I can see my sons progress is good as well.

I moved my little boy here from a previous nursery due to having some issues, and since he has been moved, he has got his happy-little-chappy self back, and I couldn't thank the staff enough for making him happy again. Since my girls have been at Sandhills, they have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have made huge progress. They look forward to nursery every day. They have learnt a lot in a short period. The fact that the children get to attend “forest school” is such a bonus too.

My son attended another preschool before Sandhills Day Nursery (Boston). He hated it, would refuse to get ready in the morning, would cry going. When I asked what he had learnt, I never got much of an answer. Changing to Sandhills Day Nursery (Boston) has been the best decision ever; he can't wait to
get to school, he's happy, he's getting involved and learning so much, he brings me things, he comes out now reciting his ABC's, he sings songs and his confidence has rocketed. The staff are so lovely, helpful and friendly. I wish we had only come here from the start!

This nursery is beyond anything I ever expected. They are so helpful and understanding no matter the situation, and they nurture my little boy. He has come on leaps and bounds since he started here and wouldn't dream of changing his childcare provider.

My little one has only been going for a couple of weeks but has settled in amazingly. Having been born at the start of the 1st lockdown meant they hadn't been able to mix with other children of the same age. The staff are amazing and friendly.

Our son moved to Sandhills from another nursery last year, and he is the happiest and most confident he has ever been. He now looks forward to going in each day and has made lots of friends. The nursery is excellent, and all the staff are very caring, approachable and wonderful with the children. Communication
from the nursery is the best I have experienced, and parents are always kept up to date. The activities and the Forest School element is something my son really enjoys and has been a great experience for him.

My two little boys attended this nursery, and the joy and happiness it brings them are amazing. My youngest, who is 2, has come on leaps and bounds, and my eldest who’s in preschool, has only spent a short time with the ladies in there due to Covid, but every single day he’s full of smiles, happiness

Staff extremely helpful and informative.

My daughter started the nursery in September 2019 when we moved to the area, she had been in a nursery setting elsewhere previously. The significant improvement in all her abilities was almost instantaneous, no doubt thanks to the wonderful setting and the wonderful staff there who cannot do enough
to help and support the development of children.


My daughter loved the nursery and is now in the pre-school setting, which she also loves. She has loved every day at Sandhills and is always excited to go and see ‘her ladies’ (the staff) and all her friends. She’s such a happy and content little girl there.


The garden, complete with a Forest School area, is a great advantage for the setting.


Covid related action has been handled expertly by the team, and they have communicated fantastically throughout.


I would not hesitate to use this nursery again. I’m going to miss it when she starts school.

I put my children into Sandhills back in May 2019. My son only had 7-weeks left before his school journey but had really lost all his confidence in his old nursery setting. Within days we had our little confident, happy boy back and that's thanks to the staff here. My daughter has just moved into preschool
and absolutely loves all the staff, friends and the surroundings. She's always happy to be dropped off and always enjoys her days at nursery. Everyone is so caring and always helpful. I wish I had found these guys sooner!
