Sandhills Boston is a purpose-built, modern nursery conveniently located in the busy market town of Boston. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The nursery rooms are carefully designed to encourage learning and development depending on the children's age. Each room provides a safe and nurturing surrounding for all children, and staffed by a team of long-serving nursery practitioners who make the setting such a special place.

Outdoor play holds great importance at Sandhills Boston, with all rooms having their own garden to allow free-flow time all year round where children can choose whether they access the indoor or outdoor space. The large adventure garden boasts a mud kitchen, playdales trim-trail equipment, a large sandpit, tunnels, bikes, trikes and plenty of ‘loose parts’ – so there is always lots for the children to explore!

My daughter is really happy in the nursery. She was crying from the beginning but the ladies in her group were really helpful and they set her down quickly. She enjoyed herself there and she learned how to do everything alone.

I am really pleased I chose to send my son to this nursery. He absolutely loves going in every morning and has built a great relationship with all of the staff. I’m comfortable leaving him for the day knowing he will be well taken care of and have lots of fun. His development has come on a lot since
he first started nursery and it’s been such a good environment for him.

My little one has only been attending nursery for a month and has come on a lot ever since. I cannot praise the staff enough for how they take care of my child, I feel he is in a safe and caring environment. He positively responds when I talk to him about nursery which, to me, speaks volumes. Hats off
to you all for doing what you do, it must be such a challenging job and you absolutely smash it!

Very happy with the nursery, my daughter has been there for almost a year and I'm glad I've chosen this nursery out of all of these in Boston. The staff are very nice and helpful, I get explained what they do during the day and you get photos from the app with what your child has been doing. If you
have any issues, you can speak to them and they help. I obviously will recommend this nursery and I will definitely send my other child there if I have another one in future.

The women working in the room my child was in were emotionally dead. Didn't interact with my child. She would scream about nursery and refuse to go.
I never got a proper handover. Hardly ever knew if my child had eaten or how much. Didn't know what my child did during the day. Didn't know if my child
napped. My child came home sunburnt even though I provided suncream. Honestly, the absolute worse nursery setting I have ever experienced.

My child always received the care and attention he required. I felt safe leaving my child in their hand, and indeed he was always.
The only flaw is this nursery looks getting old. Needs urgent redecorating.

My daughter started nursery when she was three. At first, it was very difficult for us to get used to the separation. Help, support and commitment from the girls working there is invaluable. Now my daughter is four and enjoys going to class. Personally, I find lunches expensive. Unfortunately, a very
big minus is the playground for children. Especially on hot days, it looks like a desert. Let's hope that changes. Once again, I emphasize that the employees give their best, and it really shows. They make up for all shortcomings.

The Additional Service Charge covers items which are not covered by the Government funding scheme, such as the cost of meals, nappies (where applicable), extra activities and suncream etc, as well as continuous staff training so that we are able to continue to provide high-quality childcare to you and your family. My daughter started this nursery when she was two. I was very nervous at first because she didn't really like it, and had bad separation anxiety, and didn't think she would stay. The first few weeks were really tricky, but the staff were excellent with her and reassured her and me every day. She will
be going into her last year of preschool in September. She absolutely loves nursery now, and her now key worker is absolutely excellent with her, and I can't thank her enough. Not only is the nursery really good with my daughter, but are also really understanding of my circumstances and will go the extra mile to help us out. I have no complaints at all, and I'm very grateful for all they have done.

My son has loved his time at Sandhills. He has been there for nearly two years and has looked forward to going every day. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming. He is so much more confident and is doing brilliantly well at writing his name and numbers. I would recommend it to everyone.

Such a wonderful place. The staff here are absolutely amazing, so easy to speak to, everyone is so helpful. My little boy always goes to school with a smile on his face and leaves with a bigger one. When my little boy started, his speech was not the best, but every day, he speaks more and more like
a grown-up; he makes me smile, and it’s all down to the nursery. I cannot thank them enough for absolutely everything they do.

I am very happy with Sandhills Day Nursery. I have four children, and three out of the four have attended Sandhills, but I wouldn't send them anywhere else. The staff are lovely, and the children really enjoy their time there.

I could not be more pleased with the SEN provision for my daughter with additional needs and also the care and compassion shown by all of the staff for both of my children. The staff go above and beyond for my children, and I feel relaxed and safe in the knowledge that the staff have a lovely bond with
my children and all their needs are met.

We can't speak highly enough of the preschool at Sandhills Boston. The staff are extremely caring, friendly and nurturing. My son has a speech delay, and they have been a wonderful help and support. They tailor activities to suit his needs and learning style. They always go over and above, and nothing
is too much trouble. My son loves going and has a great relationship with the ladies in his room. I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery setting for your child. He will be sad to leave in September as much as they have done a fantastic job in preparing him for primary school.

My little boy started here in the baby room when he was nine months old; he is now four years old and in his last year in pre-school with Sandhills. I would just like to thank each and every one of the staff who has made my little boy the intelligent, happy little character he is today. I’m amazed by
the progress and confidence he’s achieved whilst being in their care. The staff do amazing activities with all the children indoors and out; my little boy loves coming home to tell me about his day.
I would also like to say Sandhills is the most friendliest and supportive nursery and will be missed very much by my son and me when he goes off to *big school* in September.

Our little girl has been at Sandhills since she was ten months old. She is now four, and it’s only two months until she starts her new exciting adventure at Primary School. We owe all the ladies at Sandhills so much for all the time and support they have given our daughter. They have played such a big
part in moulding her into the wonderful, bright little girl that she is! She loves going to nursery, and it’s always a struggle to get her to leave at the end of the day! We will all be sad to say our goodbyes very soon!

My little one absolutely loves coming to preschool, he used to be tearful at leaving me which was difficult for both of us but I feel we have a fantastic relationship with the staff they really go above and beyond to make both parents and children feel safe, happy and comfortable. I feel the communication
is fantastic on drop off I am always asked how my little one is and on pick up we are always given a little run down of the day and what they have been up to which is lovely. The activities are fantastic and my little ones key worker will always do some activities based on what my little one is specifically interested in which I really love, lots of outdoor play and great values to help ready for big school. Cannot speak highly enough of Sandhills Day Nursery - really wonderful nursery!

My grandson started at Sandhill in the baby class, he is now 4 years old and has gone into his final big class before his big school. It's sad to say that my grandson has not progressed in anything. I know he is not an angel, but I feel the school has let him down in a big way. Many a time he's come
home absolutely filthy dirty, his clothes are ruined, his feet are black, and more. My grandson hasn't learnt anything new at all since being in school. There was talk of ADHD, but no actual help or support! We took the case further but the school did a good cover-up and decided that he could come back to school two days a week for 2 hours, so what is he going to learn then? have a snack, storytime, tidy up time, that's really good teaching. I think the school needs more training with children that may have problems, not send them home. There are not enough nursery assistants to run a class.
