Hi,
I have been at The Ark for almost a year now. I have managed in nursery settings previously and have lots of childcare experience.
I have a daughter who has joined the Ark, and she's settling well and enjoys her nursery days.
Looking forward to continuing my Ark adventure.

I started off as an apprentice and gradually worked my way up to Deputy Manager.
I have worked with all ages and used to run the younger pre school room many years ago!

Hi, my name is Lauren, and I am a toddler room leader. I am really excited about this role and look forward to working with a new team. I have over 12 years of experience working with children, gaining my level 2 and 3 in a couple of different nurseries.
I live in Bourne and on my day off I look after my god-daughters, filling our days with messy play, trips out to the park or soft play, and doing fun activities like painting and dancing. I completed an apprenticeship after finishing school and achieved my level 2 and then my level 3 in Children’s and Young People’s Workforce as an Early Years Educator.
I have worked in all age groups from babies to preschool. I worked in the baby room until I had my own baby. I have a little boy called Oakley.
I enjoy spending time with my little boy, playing in the garden, walking in Burghley Park and swinging on the swings at the park.
I am qualified in Level 3 Childcare at the beginning of 2023, although I have worked with children and families of varying ages since leaving school.
My home currently consists of my husband, son, who is 17, and 2 dogs. My two daughters are both at University.

Hello! I started my apprenticeship here in The Ark at the end of October 2024, and I'm completing my level 3 childcare qualification. I currently live in Colsterworth with my mum, stepdad, step sisters, and our 2 dogs, Nellie and Blaze. It has always been a dream of mine to work in childcare. In my free time I like spending time with my family and friends.
I am a preschool 1 room leader. I have been at the Ark for just over 2 years now. I’ve been in childcare since the age of 18! And have always been with the 2-3 year olds. Working with children runs in my family as my mum (Heidi) also works here.
I am a vert bubbly character, which you can probably tell by my bright outfits. I love Disney, animals, pink and all things sparkly. I am also slightly obsessed with dalmatians!
I am currently an apprentice for the nursery. I started in November 2024, and once I have completed this I will be qualified in Level 3 Childcare. I have lot of experience with children of various ages as I helped at a youth club once a week and a holiday club each year.
I live in Bourne with my family, and we have 2 rabbits called Cookie and Bella. In my free time, I enjoy playing piano and enjoy going on walks with friends especially in the summer!

I have recently rejoined The Ark again after a 6 month health break to get my diabetes more under control after starting here in November 2022.

I live in Tallington with my husband and 2 sons. We love to be having fun either on or by the water. I have 30 years’ experience in childcare. My roles have included sole charge nanny, night nanny, Montessori Nursery Practitioner, Teaching assistant, and special needs learning support assistant.
I hold a maternity practitioner award and level 3 in teaching and learning. I also completed a course on supporting children with autism in mainstream education.
I have been at The Ark for a few months now as the office manager. I have previous experience in a GP surgery and have a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology, and am carrying out further education at Leicester University this year to get a Master's in Neuroscience!
I currently live in Stamford and am relatively new to the area. I live with my partner (Sam) and our kitten (Poku).
In my spare time, I love painting, going on walks, playing sports, and playing piano.

Ebony has been with The Ark for almost 5 years, and has consistently shown her passion and dedication to her role. She takes amazing care of the children, and is always there to support them and parents.

I have recently relocated from Sussex to Holbeach to be closer to my parents, who moved from Sussex themselves last year and are enjoying retirement life.
I started my career as a level 3 apprentice and have worked my way up over the years. I have 12+ years of experience creating such fun and new learning experiences, enabling children to get the most out of their nursery journey.
I love spending time with family, listening to music and going to the odd concert. I also have a passion for dance.
I'm looking forward to creating bonds with my key children and having lots of fun!
Suzanna is our wonderful Nursery Chef who joined us this year. She offers the children wonderful homemade meals and desserts every day. She is dedicated to making sure the children get the best nutrition and tasting food possible.
Fiona is our amazing Assistant cook who is crucial in making sure everything in the kitchen runs smoothly, and makes delicious homemade meals for the children. Fiona has been with us at The Ark for over 10 years.

Hello, I am Sadie and I have 2 years of childcare experience from 2 nurseries. I have worked with all age groups. I have done 1 to 1 SEND in previous nurseries. I am first aid trained and completed my Level 3 EYE qualification.
I am a dedicated Early Years Educator and have worked in early years for around 10 years, and I absolutely love my role. I have just recently moved to Uppingham. And have recently completed an Early Years professional development course.
