My daughter loves Serendipity's. The staff are always so welcoming and she loves the wide range of activities. They've made great use to the garden and she always talks about the flowers and mint. Overall, 100% happy that my daughter attends here and she is always happy when I pick her up.

My daughter has started with the nursery and she has settled straight away, they have all gone above and beyond to ensure her safety and I couldn’t feel any happier leaving her with the loving staff! She was struggling with trying new foods before starting and is now trying everything thanks to the
encouragement of the girls who look after her! Can’t thank you all enough!

My daughter started at Serendipitys back in October 2023 when she was just 9 months old, since then her confidence has come on in leaps and bounds, she is more than happy to go staff in the morning and is confident in exploring the baby room, she has learnt so many Makaton signs which is absolutely
amazing to see. Serendipitys has a lovely home-from-home feeling, I love the fact the baby room has a separate sleep room and it's amazing to see the little snippets of what they get up to through the day. Management are a great help and always available whenever I have had any queries. I will always recommend this nursery to anyone who asks. Forever grateful for the care and support that the staff provide for my daughter.

Serendipity's (Grantham) staff are the nicest and most caring ones that one could ask for to look after your child. Ever so grateful to them - they did a wonderful job of caring for and looking after my 2-year-old.

My daughter attends Serendipitys Day Nursery every day of the week and always looks forward to going there. The staff are always pleasant, and the nursery is always keen to monitor the child's progress and guide parents if they feel they need assistance. The staff are genuine and have a good connection
with the children. The learning resources are always improving, and Serendipitys is a great place to prepare your child for 'Bbigg' school. All my children have attended Serendipitys, and it was a good foundation for them.

I took my one-year-old son to Serendipity for the first time this week. The first time he has been to a nursery. I was scared, and I can say I was actually terrified. It has now been a week since he is going there, and I can say that I am really happy with the way he is treated and cared for. Not only
that they have been amazing with my son, but they reassured me, listened to my concerns and accommodated all my requests. The ladies over there have been amazing. He settled in very well, much better than I expected. The food is amazing as well. I would like to say a big thank you to all.

Both of my boys have been to Serendipitys; it's like a home from home. Staff are so caring and are so genuine. Activities are excellent and well throughout. My youngest still goes and loves going. I recommend it to everyone as it is really the best preschool in the area. Big shout out to all the staff.

Home from home. My son loves coming here; it’s an intimate setting with nice, personal touches like well-done cards when he has sat on the toilet.
The women go the extra mile when my son has a habit of handing them his bogies, they take everything in their stride.

My child started Serendipitys in December 21. He is undergoing additional needs assessments, and the nursery has helped us in every way they can. My son has come on leaps and bounds being in this setting. I wish I had moved him sooner. He gets greeted daily with cuddles, no matter who opens the door!
It’s one big family. They go above and beyond for my child, and I am so grateful he has the nursery as part of his routine. He has made some great friends and has fun no matter what, he is fed nutritional meals and given additional food if he doesn’t like what they have provided. It is clear children are at the centre of their hearts. A range of activities and games are played daily, and the children even venture out into town itself. It’s also reassuring to know I can go to the staff myself for advice and on how to manage certain situations; my messages are always replied to, and I am helped out as much as I can be. I am so happy with them.

My daughter is thriving under their care. She loves coming to school and learning, especially French lessons. Everyone is soo tentative and great at managing her food intolerances too. We will be very sad when it's her last day.

Serendipitys is a lovely nursery. Exceptional staff, who are happy to go above and beyond for all the children. My child has been attending since he was 12-months-old and was diagnosed with a serious medical condition subsequently. The staff at the nursery fully embraced all the training so that he
could return safely and have to adapt every day to his challenging needs.
The nursery has a lovely setting with stimulating activities and excellent food that is cooked on the premises.

Current Review Score: 10.0 (10.000)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (10.000) out of 10 for Serendipitys Day Nursery Grantham is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 25 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 25 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Serendipitys Day Nursery Grantham is calculated as follows: ( (300 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 300 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Serendipitys Day Nursery Grantham is based on 25 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 40 number of registered child places is 8, which has been reached with 25 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
