About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 52 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 52 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 21.9 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

My daughter has been at the nursery since May 2014. The settling in period was managed very well by her key worker and she quickly adapted to being away from home and attending the nursery. The staff and management are approachable and have dealt with issues in a satisfactory manner.

Our son is very happy here and his confidence has grown. He enjoys the range of activities and loves being able to go outside. It's clear the staff genuinely care about each child and know their individual needs.

This is the best nursery and I would definitely recommend it. The staff are always polite and caring. My child is always happy here as with my previous children. Especially my previous daughters teacher. She's a wonderful teacher and is always smiling.

Staff in the nursery are very friendly and caring. My daughter was initially shy and uncomfortable in going to nursery but within few days they made her comfortable and now she is really enjoying going to nursery.

Lovely nursery, with lovely, understanding and welcoming staff. Leaving our daughter at nursery for the first time we were quite apprehensive, but we were offered excellent settling in sessions and our daughters key person even came to visit us at home to see our home environment and get an idea of...
The team at the nursery put us completely at ease and have supported us settling our daughter in. Great communication and our daughter now enjoys her nursery sessions and really loves the nursery workers who care for her. Also a perfect purpose built environment with lots of space and a brilliant outdoor area.
My child looks forward to go to nursery. I would encourage them to keep up the good work.

I went to college in 2000 to study health and social care and English language at a level. During my time at college I went on a number of placements in primary schools, pre schools and nurseries. I then left college and started working at St. George’s Nursery in September 2002. I have worked with all age groups and completed my NVQ level 3 in Childcare in August 2005. I then worked my way up to the managers position in August 2009 and completed my Management NVQ level 3 in August 2014.
I enjoy managing the staff team to help them achieve their best potential in caring and nurturing the children to achieve the best start in life.
