Little Explorers Day Nursery

Wonderful nursery with such loving, kind, and patient staff. We feel truly grateful to be able to leave our child somewhere where we know he is completely safe, happy, and cared for. He always comes home worn out and happy having had a lovely day. All the staff are fantastic and make so much effort for the children. The nursery puts in a lot of work to make sure the kids are learning daily as well as socialising and playing, and this really shows. My son has noticeably grown in confidence and loves going to the nursery; he even picks up his own backpack ready and runs to the door to leave on nursery mornings.

Just fantastic! I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough as a place for your little one! They made myself and my son so comfy from the start. They are just amazing with him and so accepting and inclusive. I have seen my little one grow and evolve so much. Not to mention the amazing natural learning experience he gets daily. Honestly, I am so happy!

Little Explorers Day Nursery has very caring staff here. I wish I could give more than five stars to them. My daughter has allergy problems but the nursery looks after her very carefully. She also learnt English whilst here, her mother tongue is not English. They offer many opportunities for her to build many life skills. Highly recommended.

We couldn’t have chosen a better nursery for our two boys. We looked around a few and instantly loved the home from home feel we got from Little Explorers compared to some of the bigger ones nearby. The boys are so excited in the mornings and love all the different activities that are always so well thought out by the staff.

My little one is having the time of his life at nursery with Little Explorers. The staff really care and collaborate with parents to provide the best experience possible. Getting online updates each day is invaluable. They’ve handled COVID restrictions really well and made us feel safe. I can’t recommend them enough!

I have sent both of my boys to Little Explorers and they have loved their time there. A small, family vibe, setting which staff who really get to know the children. Communication with parents is great, and the activities that they do are really varied and fun.

Such a lovely nursery with caring and friendly staff! Our son (1year old at the time) had instantly felt at ease with the staff and the environment of the nursery as soon as we came to view it, which is something he had not shown at any other nursery viewings. This put our mind at ease about leaving our baby for the first time and we have not regretted our choice since! The staff are engaging and attentive and really put effort into supporting each individual child's development. They even managed to get my son to start eating and finishing his plate at lunchtimes after being a poor eater both at nursery and at home!

Our daughter started with Little Explorers Day Nursery in March 2020. Unfortunately, we all went into lockdown the next month. The nursery team were very supportive and helpful when the children returned. Our daughter loves playing with her friends there and always comes back with lots of new ideas. She also enjoys the food. The cook makes nice and tasty food. My daughter always feels safe and well looked after. I would one hundred percent recommend this lovely nursery.

From the minute I walked into this nursery for the show around I knew this was the one for us. The warm, friendly, homely atmosphere, as well as the experienced fantastic staff, makes this the perfect nursery. My little girl has gone through so many milestones and nursery has played a massive part in supporting this development. When my little girl first started she went through a very bad stage of separation anxiety I will never be able to thank the staff enough with the way they comforted her through this they would give her hugs comfort her and give her what she needed to feel secure. Including holding her just so she rested and napped as she didn’t want to be put down. More recently the way the nursery has managed and adapted through covid has exceeded my expectations.

My daughter has been attending Little Explorers for around nine months and her development has come on leaps and bounds in this time. The staff at Little Explorers, particularly in the Sweet Pea room (0-2 years) are amazing. You can really tell that they have a passion for their job and care about your child's progression and development. I think it also helps that the nursery is small and they can really get to know your child. The curiosity approach which the nursery has adopted really gets the children involved and they always look to be having so much fun. The food provided is very good and cooked fresh every day. The amount of varied meals given (I've not even tried some of the dishes) is brilliant and enjoyed by the children. We receive constant observations via the online system which is reassuring and always has detailed reports. I would highly recommend Little Explorers day nursery.

This nursery is amazing they have not only been great to my son, but my family as well and are always understanding. Good outside space and host lots of activities for the kids to get involved in.

Absolutely lovely nursery, my daughter loves attending here. She has learnt a lot since starting here in September and has grown in confidence. She is always full of stories and different exciting things she has learnt. The staff in her room are amazing and cannot do enough for her. The nursery is well organised and everyone is approachable and friendly. Management is amazing, always there if we need anything and always happy to help.

My son has been attending Little Explorers for over three months now and he has settled in really well and loves going and seeing his carers and friends. He enjoys all the different activities they do every day. His speech has come on profoundly since attending the nursery. The staff and management are so lovely and professional and always have time for you.

Since our son has started here he has started talking more and seems a lot more engaged. The staff throughout the nursery are all so friendly and smiley. They are also very encouraging with child development and always do fun seasonal activities across the year. I can’t fault Little Explorers and look forward to our son spending a few more years here.

All the staff are friendly and attentive, my little boy settled in so easily and has learnt a lot since joining. The staff are incredibly enthusiastic about his development and it's nice as a first-time parent to have their support and guidance. He also loves the food too and they do a good variety. We feel really lucky to go to such a great nursery.

I can go to work safe in the knowledge that she is very well looked after and is developing day by day.
