Little Explorers Day Nursery

I was so anxious about sending my child to nursery but my little one has absolutely flourished. All the staff are so hardworking and I'm so glad I chose this nursery to send my child to Little Explorers the girls all work so hard and care for each child they look after and it shows. Would recommend to anyone.

My daughter started this nursery in October 2025, I was so nervous about her starting and how she would integrate. But the ladies at Little Explorers have been amazing with my little one! They constantly provide updates via the app throughout the day and at every pick up they will then give a thorough breakdown of the day. It can be so nerve wracking to have your little one join nursery, but me and my husband couldn't be happier with the choice we made. All the staff are brilliant and my little one has so much fun and looks forward to going in!

As a father of three, leaving my children in anyone else's care was one of the hardest things I've ever done. But this nursery quickly became a second home for our family. Every one of my children was loved deeply, seen as an individual, and cared for as if they were their own. On the days I walked away with a lump in my throat, I knew they were safe, comforted, and surrounded by people who truly cared. I watched my babies grow, find their confidence, and feel secure in a place full of warmth and kindness. Trusting this nursery with my children was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and it's something I'll always be thankful for

My 10 month old son started on January 25 and struggled to settle at first. He had difficulty with napping and settling to an activity. Being tired made him upset and unable to join in with the activities. However the staff, in particular his key worker, were all so positive, enthusiastic and determined to make it a good experience for him. My son's key worker is so great at keeping us up to date and was very reassuring when I expressed concerned about him settling. All the staff have shown care and positivity and they were right - my son is really starting to enjoy his time at Little Explorers.

We've had a fantastic experience at this nursery. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, making my child feel safe and valued. The manager is very understanding and always willing to listen and help with any concerns. It's clear that they genuinely care about the children, and it shows in how happy and engaged my child is every day. Highly recommend this warm, welcoming nursery to any parent looking for a supportive and nurturing environment.

This is the second son my nursery has attended and I can't believe how different the experience has been, the settling in period has gone amazingly as the staff have worked alongside both me and my son. As it is a smaller a nursery we've been able to interact and get to know a lot of the staff and they have communicated with us regularly at handover and using the app, which has made us feel really at ease.

My son loves attending Little Explorers since he joined 3 years ago, and we're really glad to have found it! We always feel welcomed and engaged with. The staff are warm, friendly and professional, and we always feel at ease talking to them. The nursery has a homely feeling and the team always provides engaging educational play activities. Our son has thrived in the environment and the carers have been supporting us through key steps in his development. We get regular updates and the staff arrange welcoming afternoons and days for family to come into the nursery to share in their activities. Would definitely recommend the nursery.

We can highly recommend Little Explorers Day Nursery. They took care of our eldest from 9 months until school age and she came away with many happy memories, some life long friends and close relationships with carers. Our youngest now attends and there was no question of considering another nursery for her. The team at Little Explorers are like family and we have complete trust in them to provide the best possible care for our children whilst we're at work. The team are professional, friendly, supportive, kind and most importantly, the children love them.

The use of the App means we are well informed, it is easy to pass messages and offers excellent safeguarding.

Little Explorers is a lovely home from home. My son really enjoyed his time there. Spending lots of time exploring in the garden and doing some lovely engaging activities. He had good bonds with the staff and really enjoyed the delicious meals on offer.

A lovely warm home-from-home nursery. Kind and friendly staff. Lots of interesting activities and plenty of new things to do each day. I liked the way parents were invited to events for special occasions, it was great to see all the children so happy, we were always made to feel very welcome.

We’ve had some challenges lately, and the staff at Little Explorers have gone above and beyond to support us and our child through this time. We are so grateful to them and cannot recommend this nursery enough to any parents looking for somewhere to entrust their child.

Just exceptional in every way. When I drop my daughter off it feels like I'm leaving her with family. Feedback is excellent and I know I can have time to chat if needed. My daughter loves it here and has grown in confidence since joining the nursery, staff have really taken their time to nurture friendships with her peers. Utterly brilliant.

We could not be happier with the provision provided by this nursery. The staff are lovely and genuinely care about the well-being and happiness of our son. His day is full of educational and stimulating activities which we can see benefit him at home as well (baby sign language and playing skills, to name a few). We are impressed with the food offer as well.

Little Explorers is a lovely, small nursery with very good, kind, loving and friendly staff. I have never had one issue or worry in the five years across both of my children attending. They always have both loved going.

Both my children love nursery and have a great time there. I have been really impressed with my daughter's progress as she moves towards school, and how Little Explorers Day Nursery have helped her social skills especially. Her ability to play with and build friendships with other children has come on leaps and bounds in her time here. My son, too, has made so much progress and looks forward to nursery days.

I have always been very impressed with the care my daughter got from Little Explorers. The facilities and activities on offer were always impressive, the staff caring and knowledgeable, and the nursery was always clean and everything was in good condition. My daughter always enjoyed her time there without reservation and made good friends. She was very sorry to leave and we are both grateful for what a great experience the staff gave her there. I didn't always feel like the food was great value for money, as this had a supplementary cost, but this may have been down to my child having food allergies and requiring a special diet, and I am aware that the supplement also covers the cost of external education providers and resources. Overall I was extremely happy with Little Explorers and so was my daughter - she has so many good memories and made friends she will remain in touch with long afterwards. Thank you for taking such good care of her.

A lovely and special place, my little boy loves it. I feel very confident that he is well cared for and he is always happy to go. The staff are lovely and friendly, and they are always doing interesting and fun things with the activities.
