Since starting in the baby room a few weeks ago, My child seems to have come on so much in a very short period of time. We've noticed she has been babbling more than ever before, trying to repeat words like Hiya/Bye Bye when seeing other people and waving to them in the same time! She's started using
baby sign language, trying to sign more and all done when having food at home. If we repeat the gesture and ask her if she would like more / if she's all done she smiles and claps and you can tell how pleased she is we're understanding what she's trying to tell us which is really nice to see. We've been really happy with how quickly she's settled in and seeing the bond she's already developed with the staff definitely puts our mind at ease.

Since starting nursery at the beginning of April my child has reached a few milestones, including crawling, pulling to stand and feeding herself with a spoon, with a little support. My child was shy at the first few drop offs, but now puts her arms out to the staff and is happy as we leave. My child
is always happy playing when we arrive to collect her, alongside the other children. I think it's lovely also that my child's sister has been able to visit during the time she has been settling in too. Thank you to everyone involved in helping my child settle into nursery.

My child has really been enjoying nursery and has settled in a lot better than expected. He is a big mummys boy so I was cautious how he would act when I left him but when I drop him off to see him smile and hold his arms out to the ladies in the rooms really makes me feel so much better and a lot more
comfortable leaving him, it shows to me as his mum he is more than happy being there and has grown what I would say are great relationships within the baby room!


At home me and my partner have seen that he is picking up new skills fast, clapping & waving he is starting to associate clapping if we say well done good boy & waves when we say hiya or bye bye. I think it has really helped him progress and gain more confidence being without me which is a great thing for his development.


For both me and my partner we are more than with the nursery it has really exceeded my expectations, to see him so happy when I drop him off and pick him up is great! I trust wholeheartedly that you take the up

Firstly can we Thank all for the tremendous job all the staff have done with our son.
We really do feel you have helped his development so much. From the combination of understanding his personality upon discovering his milk intolerance and helping him to blossom into the cheeky chap that he is.
His
favourite part of the day is breakfast time. He is a full weetabix machine.
You have really taken the time to get him on his feet and off his knees. He is now a marathon runner!


He has then settled into his newer room so much better than expected. We believe this is to the work you all put in helping with this transition period.

I just want to say how grateful I really am to all the staff for helping my daughter grow. I feel she has progressed massively with all your help and unfortunately I didn't have the same feeling from another nursery that my eldest daughter attended.
My daughter adores you all so much and I'm so happy
to drop her off at nursery knowing she's so happy to be there. When we pull up in the morning she claps because she simply can't wait to come.

Our little girls development and behavior has really come on over the last few months being in the babies room. She will now happily go to one of the staff members in the morning when she is dropped off which is a big improvement to before when she used to cry and get very upset when being dropped off.
She no longer uses her muslin blanket during the day which has helped with her confidence and speech. We have been working on her gross motor skills and have seen such great progress with this, she bum shuffles about now which is nice as she can interact more with the other babies and staff. We have also been practicing helping her to stand and put her weight under her and this is slowly coming along too with help from the nursery staff. She loves her meals at nursery, we have started to get her to hold and use her own fork and spoon now at meal times at home, which she enjoys. Overall, our little girl (17 months) is having a really positive experience in the babies room.

My daughter has developed immensely over the last 6/7 months! She has become an incredibly confident girl, compared to when she first started attending. Her speech has improved, and I feel that nursery has definitely helped with this. Although she sometimes still struggles with social interactions with
other babies, I do feel that being around other children has and still is helping her to become more confident and interactive with others. I really appreciate the staff being incredibly accommodating when my daughter first started as it was a struggle at the time. Everyone is always so welcoming and I'm glad that my daughter feels comfortable with the people taking care of her!

What a wonderful environment for growing children!! My boy has been there since 11 months old (now 4). He had moderate hearing loss (which the nursery actually pointed out to me - a first time mother just thinking my baby boy was being ignorant and selective ) up until last December when he had corrective
surgery. Both before and after, they have given him so much care and consideration. 1-1s to help him develop his hearing skills and his speech. They have worked so closely with other clinical professionals to get him ready for school this September. And even without the hearing troubles, he has learned so much and had fun doing it. Every week is filled with themed activities! He has made loads of friends to share in these activities with. The nutrition is amazing! So healthy and tasty. He eats so much now thanks the whitick day nursery.They have been incredible every single step of the way!

I just want to say first how amazing the nursery is! Absolutely amazing! You and all of the girls are absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier with the staff! I've been incredibly impressed with the baby room since my daughter started. The staff are always so friendly and take the time to chat during drop-off and pick-up, which I really appreciate. I was anxious when my daughter first started as she was still so little however I was sent regular updates and
messages to let me know how she was getting on. I especially value the consistency of the staff, as it's helped my daughter to settle in so well-she happily goes to a familiar face without any tears.
I'm impressed with how organised the nursery is as everything is documented through the app, this is particularly helpful when medication needs to be administered as its all logged on there. I also love that you make the effort to do crafts and baking with the babies, even at such a young age.
Since starting at the nursery, my daughter has developed so much, her confidence and speech have both come a long way. A big thank you from me for providing such a wonderful setting.

My experience with the nursery has been great. The first thing that impressed me with the nursery was that I could pay for the hours my child attended, unlike other nurseries where you had to pay for half a day or a full day (I believe this might be changing for new attendees). Another thing I liked
was the outdoor area, although there is no grass, it is large, and my child really enjoys being outdoors, and the staff take them outside a lot. All the staff have been very accommodating, and my child loves interacting with everyone. One thing I think that could be improved is more information on the app about their daily activities, as before they moved to the app, there used to be a section for this on the paper daily information sheet you used to get. My son has attended Whitwick Day Nursery for over a year now.
He absolutely adores the practitioners and talks about them regularly at home. Unlike my other children, he really struggled to get into books and listen to stories as often as I’d like at home, but he now loves books! Quoting stories he’s
heard at nursery and wanting to read them at home. The nursery also has a library children can choose from to take a book home. The outside area is a brilliant size with plenty of resources.
My son has a food intolerance, and the nursery caters to his needs brilliantly. Always providing delicious meals.
The nursery is currently being newly decorated throughout giving the setting a new fresh look. It looks great!

Lovely nursery! Very accommodating, staff are always friendly, and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. My son formed a bond with the staff very quickly, and this has had a positive effect on my son's social skills and making new friends.
I find the accident reporting could be improved - I would
prefer to be notified straight away if my son has had an accident, but most of the time, I don't find out until pick up (and sometimes not at all, my son tells me later on in the evening).
I feel the meal portions/snacks could maybe be reviewed, as my son is always raiding the cupboards as soon as he gets home (although this could just be a toddler thing!). Other than that, I can't praise the nursery enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

I can't fault Whitwick Day Nursery! My son has come on leaps and bounds with his language, social skills and general love for playing, singing and eating! He loves the food and the range they serve is great. They are always prompt to answer any questions and respond quickly if I message them for updates.

Lovely nursery, my daughter gets on well with the staff and enjoys going every week. However, myself and dad have noticed things slipping recently eg when picked up recently by Dad, my daughter had been left in a pooey nappy that had already dried by the time they got home for him to change it. Her
nappies also get put on super tight which surely must be uncomfortable for her. We also don’t really get much of an informative handover from staff anymore when she’s picked up.

The nursery is great with my son, the staff all treat him really well and he’s thriving there. He loves the creative activities and he loves playing outside. He first started young when he was small and had specific feeding needs which were all met by the nursery. They also supported him through weaning
and now he enjoys a wide variety of food. He was included in all nursery activities even when he was very small. His language and mobility are really coming along compared to his peers. He has fantastic social skills. He likes all the activities like meeting Santa and having photographs taken.
