About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 52 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 52 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 21.9 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

The issues I've got is the fact the room gets very crowded on certain days and the rooms are pretty small (for the pre-school), it gets overwhelming for the child and parents. It raises concerns on safety and keeping an eye on the group, I don't feel there are the right amount of carers sometimes.

Staff are friendly and trustworthy. Wonderful atmosphere. My child has built a great relationship with the staff. St Georges is extremely flexible and will book my child into the facility on ad-hoc days that I require as well as his standard day. Nursery is clean and tidy. The nursery is secure with specific instructions and security checks for people other than named parents/carers coming to collect their child. Really like the fact that St Georges has an interest in my child's family life and take a keen interest in his overall social, creative and emotional development. Would be better if there was a 'snack' provided at 3pm then a teatime at 4-4.30pm rather than 'high tea' at 3.30pm to promote normal eating times.

Both of my children have attended the above nursery and loved it. The staff are very helpful and informative about how they are developing and stages they need to meet. They have both been really happy and we have felt very comfortable leaving them in the nursery's care.

He absolutely loves the Nursery and as a parent this fills me with confidence that he is well looked after. He has made lots of friends and talks about his time at the Nursery. My son tells me what activities he has done etc. Staff are very friendly and approachable. He loves the outdoor space especially the mud kitchen. Another favourite activity is Kimble's, Thursday mornings are always excitable in our house.

The staff are fantastic, I honestly feel they go out of there way to make sure both parents and children are happy.
Also the activities are great as well as the lunch and tea menus.
