Our experience with St George's has been excellent. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Our daughter has settled in very well since joining the preschool five months ago. Our daughter always comes home telling us how much fun she's had during her day and explaining all the activities she's taken part in. St George's has helped her grow in confidence in a short space of time. Many thanks and would highly recommend it.
Our daughter started at another local nursery, but we didn't get the right feeling. We researched St George's Nursery and explored whether it would be perfect. The nursery manager was welcoming, gave us a tour, and covered our questions before we had the chance to ask. She made our daughter feel welcomed and gave us assurance in how they would care for her. Whilst at the nursery, the other children were joyful, content and the staff were doing a fab job in looking after them. The manager covered their parental engagement app to ensure we have peace of mind in communication. Our daughter has now been at the nursery 6 months and has settled in amazingly. It is wonderful to see her reach out to staff members upon arrival and the bond that has been formed between them. The parental engagement app keeps us updated daily on our daughter’s activities, diet, events and more. Registering our daughter at St George's Nursery was the best decision and it's amazing to see her flourish.
Always greeted with a friendly smile at the door. Love that the app is updated throughout the day. Highly recommend.
The progress my daughter has made, now confidently counting and recognising her name, is a testament to their dedication and guidance. My daughter adores it and gets very excited when they unexpectedly meet at the door; their bond is truly heartwarming. We're constantly reassured knowing they are in capable hands, receiving the best care and having a day packed with fun and learning.
The joy and anticipation our children have for nursery is a reflection of the caring and attentive staff, making each day a delightful adventure for them. We couldn't think of a better place for our little ones to be and we credit the nursery and its staff for going above and beyond in shaping their early years in such a positive and enriching way.
My daughter joined this nursery about six months ago, she loves it and she’s learnt many things in these last months! She was coming from a childminder so it took about a month for her to settle in, but the staff has been brilliant to help her with that. They organise few events throughout the year where someone of the family can join them for a playdate and I love to see how she plays and she relates with other kids. Best decision ever.
I have nothing but good things to say about St George's Nursery. The staff are lovely, they have lots of activities to keep the children engaged and events which include all the family! My son is very happy there and has developed steadily. Many thanks.
Our son has settled in so well to this nursery and has made strong bonds with his carers which is so lovely to see. We are also big fans of the app that is used where they upload pictures of him so we can see what activities he is doing, as well as keeping logs of his meals and naps.
Thank you St George's for the amazing care you provide. They absolutely love coming to nursery - they always tell us how yummy the food is, how much they love doing their activities and how much they love their teachers! Could not recommend St George's highly enough! Amazing nursery.
I am writing this review as my son leaves St George's Nursery to head off to school. We will be so sad to say goodbye to all the lovely girls there who have taken such good care of my boy. He absolutely loved going to nursery at St George's. The range of activities available is great and the family feel of the place makes me fully confident in leaving him there. They really take an interest in each child, getting to know them and encourage their individual interests. St George's you will be missed enormously.
This nursery has been great with services. My child loves going to the nursery. The staff are really nice and friendly. They have supported my in every way where he needed support. I would recommend the nursery to my families and friends. My child has learned so much from nursery.
Very welcoming nursery. It's a home-from-home. My little boy is settling so well. The staff are very caring and loving. They are very patient and supportive, and I was very nervous about leaving my little one. He is creating great bonds with the carers in his room. I 100% would recommend this nursery to others.
I can’t thank St George’s enough. I was so anxious about going back to work and sending my 10-month-old to nursery. They were so supportive during his settling-in sessions, and on his first week, they updated his progress via the app regularly with photos and informed us what he was up to. He is settling in really well. Thanks to all the staff.
Could not recommend St George's Nursery highly enough! A fantastic nursery with a great garden space, and it's lovely inside too. They always hold events for parents and families to get involved. Our niece absolutely loves attending!
My daughter loves attending nursery. She has a very close bond with the team and always leaves with a big smile on her face at the end of the day whilst telling me about all the wonderful activities they’ve done. I love the fact they have free play, and children can have fun with the messy play whenever they like! The team are very supportive, and happy to help whenever I have needed further guidance and support. An all-around wonderful experience with them so far. Management and the whole team are great, and my daughter has a lovely relationship with them all.
My daughter loves attending nursery; she has a close bond with all staff. Management is fantastic, easy to communicate with, and they have been really supportive. The app is great and easy to use, so I can see what my daughter has been doing. Great nursery; my daughter will stay here until school.
A great team. My daughter is really enjoying going to nursery. She loves going to the nursery and talks about the staff. Myself and my husband are very happy with St George's Nursery, and we wish we came here from the beginning.
Staff take a real care and interest in the children.
Continually updating on my child's progress.
The facilities are great, with lots of things to keep the children happy.
Food balanced and plenty of options.
Lovely to see our child excited when she goes to nursery too, makes it easier doing drop-offs in the morning.
Management doesn't shy away from issues and will listen to concerns when raised.
My daughter has been attending St George's Nursery (Enderby) for two years and four months and has flourished. I am constantly impressed with what she has learnt during her day at nursery, and the staff genuinely care for her. The nursery manager is one of the best managers I have had the luxury of knowing. My second child will also be joining next year. The nursery has offered them such a safe and nurturing environment to learn and grow. A home-from-home. The best decision I could have made for them.
From the first day we visited with our first son, we were very impressed, having already visited another four and not impressed. My son loved every minute, and we were confident he was receiving a nurturing and caring environment with wonderful, friendly and supportive staff and facilities. We still feel that same now with our second son, age three, attending there also. I would totally recommend this nursery.

Meet the Team (2)

I have worked in childcare for 13 years. I started working with children in an out of school club then moved to the nursery setting, where I took the position as an Assistant Manager. I completed my BA Honours Early Years in 2017. I feel passionately about personal development.
I love supporting the team here at Enderby, to develop and take pride in the opportunities we provide for our children. I believe that children develop holistically and feel passionate about creating an environment that enables this.

I have been in childcare for nearly 10 years. I have worked at St George’s Nursery School since July 2012. I originally started off as an apprentice, doing my level 2 then my level 3. Once qualified, I then applied for Senior Nursery Nurse, which I did for 2 years before becoming Deputy Manager. I have been Deputy Manager since January 2019. I love working for St Georges Nursery School because its a home from home environment. Its a family run company, who make you feel part of the family.
