Partou Progress House Day Nursery & Pre-school

Our little boy joined in February 2023 - he settled in well and is now thriving at Progress House. He was a clingy baby, with allergies. The staff have been so supportive- he is now confident and loves going in. The staff in each room have taken the time to get to know him and what he likes. This has been consistent in each room and the transition has always been smooth. He is learning so much and is exposed to a great variety of activities and, most importantly, he has a lot of fun. He has made friends and enjoys spending time with them - it's great to see. We get updated with what he has been up to each day and monthly tracking reports. We have parents evenings to check in, but most importantly, the staff are always there if we want to speak to them about something.The nursery is extremely well run- the team are fantastic. They go the extra mile to support parents too. It feels like a big family there, and that's why we picked it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

As parents we are kept fully informed in a variety of ways, with advice when asked for, and support always. We trust these ladies with the most precious things in our lives and they do not let us down.

Progress House is a great little nursery. It's the staff which make it so. Three of my children have attended the nursery over the years and all have thrived within it. One of my children has serious food allergies and the staff have been great, learning about the allergies (one of which is new to them) and ensuring that they are careful with the foods provided. They've taken time to chat with us about the allergy and my child's specific needs. I do miss that it's no longer privately owned, but the manager and her team have been fabulous and I can't fault them.

We are so happy we chose Progress House nursery for our children. Our children are so happy and feel loved and well cared for there. The staff know all the children's names even if they aren't in their room and we always get a warm welcome from the staff. It feels like a big family and that was a really important factor for us. When we had challenges with our little boy's behaviour the nursery supported us so well, not only being realistic about normal child development but with tips and advice as to how to manage it. And most importantly reassurance that it was normal and would pass. I genuinely feel like the staff care so much about the happiness and well being of the children and that's why it is such a happy place. The manager is brilliant and she supports the parents so well - always accommodating extra sessions if she can and being as flexible as possible. We are so happy that we picked the nursery and really feel the love and effort the staff put into it every day.

Progress House couldn't do anymore for our two girls. Both are always so happy to be at nursery. We always know they are in the best care and well looked after.

All the staff at Progress House provide excellent care. Our daughter loves going and often doesn't want to leave at the end of the day! The staff have gone above and beyond in terms of encouraging our daughter with her eating, something she struggles with and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. We couldn't have asked for anyone better to take care of our daughter.

I highly recommend this nursery to anyone seeking a nurturing environment for their children.

Both of my children have attended Progress House and we have been more than happy with the nursery. They have been cared for superbly as individuals and not for a second have we been concerned about entrusting our children to the staff here - all of whom are lovely. You could not ask for a better start for your children.

Both of my girls have come to the nursery at Partou Progress House and I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are incredible and have made my girls feel at home, happy and loved throughout their time here. This has helped to give my eldest such a positive start to school and my youngest is absolutely thriving, An amazing nursery!

My husband and I have recently moved our daughter to Partou Progress House from another local nursery. She was at her previous setting for 6 months and we decided to move her here as all of the nursery's values align with ours. As a teacher, it is of vital importance to us that when she is in nursery, she is learning and developing. In the short time we've been here, it is evident this nursery does this in abundance. They provide monthly interest and activity sheets which enable dialogue between the parents and the key worker and allow for monitoring of the child's progress for the given month. The wide variety of healthy food on the menu is nothing short of exceptional and it is wonderful to see a nursery that puts healthy eating and living at the heart of their ethos. All the staff are extremely friendly and appear to know our daughter well and genuinely care for her in the short time she's been there. As parents, this nursery really is the full package and we're delighted we moved!

The team work so hard to provide the best care. I know my little girl is safe and cared for when she is here.
