Very good nursery, always friendly and energetic in each room my son has been in so far, the admin staff are great and the App they use is very user-friendly and great for seeing how your child is doing throughout the day. Cant recommend them enough.

Since my daughter started nursery here at just 6 months old she hasn't cried once when dropped off, she loves going and all the staff are absolutely brilliant. She is now nearly 3 and thriving in this great environment. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable, but so friendly and caring at the same time. Always communicating well with us parents, and organising great activities for the children daily. I couldn't recommend Marlborough Day Nursery enough!

Marlborough Day Nursery is a very professional setting. My son is well looked after and they provide regular updates with regards his overall well being. My child attends this nursery two days a week and all of the staff across the nursery are so friendly. My child is in the baby room and two of their staff members are just the best. So kind caring and helpful. I feel so happy dropping her off, she's always smiling and already learning so much from her teachers and peers. My son has been with Marlborough Day Nursery for only three months, however, I feel that with that time I can 100% make a solid review, from the minute I walked into look around I knew it was exactly where I wanted him to go, every staff member you meet are very friendly and always greet you. Two staff members in particular in the baby room are amazing girls, so kind and supportive. My son enjoys his day at nursery and always comes home clean, fed and very well looked after!

Our son attends the nursery 2 days a week and from the 1st visit, we knew it was the best place for him. The staff can't do enough for us and for him, they always answer any questions and provide us with current feedback throughout the day. Would 100% recommend it.

We couldn't be happier with the care and learning provided and the amazing facilities this nursery has given our daughter. She started in October at 18 months old and she loves it. We are regularly updated with her progress and photos throughout the day. The food provided is top quality with so much variety. They keep active with their own sports hall and soft play and outside areas and often go on trips into town and to the park. We viewed several in the area before choosing Marlborough and it stood out head and shoulders above the rest. Highly recommend. Staff are attentive and kind and she loves every one of them.

My son has been attending the nursery for seven months now and we are more than pleased with his development. He has learnt so many new things. staff has always supported him reaching milestones and communicated well with both me and my husband about any matters. The nursery offers a variety of activities, is well-resourced offering both indoor and outdoor spaces to all children irrespective of age. Food is excellent and cooked at the nursery. Overall we are happy with everything so far.

We are very pleased with our decision to enrol our beloved son into Marlborough Day Nursery in May! We have noticed a tremendous confidence increase in things where our son was a little hesitant. For example, he started walking on his own and usually, it takes a while for them to walk with confidence on their own but we do believe with the nursery's help and us working with him at home showed that we are a team and have our boy's best interest at heart. We are very pleased that he makes friends and is growing his social environment and learning how to share with his friends. My son has been going here for three months now and I feel really happy with the care he is given whilst at nursery. They keep me informed on what he’s been doing that day along with eating, sleeping and changes. The staff are always lovely and feedback in person on collection. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery. Having multiple rooms/areas of play is a big bonus.

Teachers are supporting our little ones. The nursery is clean, food is good. They have few activities on special days, outside playground, very easy to communicate with staff. It's a place where our kids are learning new things in a kind and safe manner. I'm happy to choose this nursery for both of my kids.

The staff are always keen to help and are always going above and beyond. Throughout the day they are always putting on lovely bits and bobs to the app so we are able to see what he is getting up to. I know my baby is well looked after and I have great trust in what they do with him!
My child has some food allergies which the nursery quickly accommodated too and made sure he was getting all the right foods.
There are so many parts of the nursery he gets to explore which enable him to develop physically and mentally.

Meet the Team (7)
I have over 20 years’ experience in early years; a career that I am very passionate about. Marlborough is where I trained and qualified and it just feels like home! After a 2-year break, I rejoined the team in 2012 to take on the role of Officer in Charge alongside Lisa. Together, we lead a professional team of dedicated practitioners, who share our passion in providing the very best outcomes for the children in our care.
I began my early years career in 1999, starting with the company as a trainee straight out of school! In addition to my early years qualifications, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience which enabled me to progress to Officer in Charge in 2010. Children thrive from strong relationships and knowledgeable adults who can really tune into their individual needs; I believe our small group approach really does facilitate this!
I began working at Marlborough in 2009 as a trainee. Since then I have not only progressed in my roles up to Deputy Officer in Charge, but have also gained a number of early years qualifications from NVQ level 2 and 3 right up to Level 7. A particular highlight is achieving my Early Years Teacher (EYT) status. My passion is working with 3 years plus, preparing them for their next journey in education, through challenging activities and opportunities whilst using my knowledge and experience to nurture each child based on their individual needs and development.
I first started my early years career back in 2001, after leaving school and achieving my level 3 diploma. I have worked in many different early years settings, but my passion has always been with pre-school. I bought this knowledge and skill set with me when I joined Marlborough in 2021, as the leader of the newly created pre-school provision, Foundation Upper. I work closely with Kayleigh to lead our dedicated team to help every individual child flourish and become ready for their next chapter in learning.
I started working at Marlborough Day Nursery in 2016 as a student. Within my 7 years here, I have gained my early years level 3 qualification, taken on room leader roles and progressed into a senior management role. I have experience within all ages of the nursery, and a great passion to support the children with their holistic needs and development. I believe that every child is unique and the reason I love my job is that I get to help each one discover their own strengths and talents and nurture those traits through my educational approach.
I began my journey at Marlborough Day Nursery in 2021 as a nursery apprentice; I was instantly invested and wanted to learn every aspect of the role. I studied hard and very quickly gained my level 3 diploma. Keen to progress, I’ve worked my way through the room leader role to my current position of Senior Nursery Officer. My expertise is in the care and development of babies; they learn so much in their first 1001 days, and I’m so privileged to be involved at this crucial time.
| have over 33 years’ experience in childcare and started at Marlborough Day Nursery on its first day of opening in 1990. I have worked as the nursery manager for many years until deciding to reduce my hours due to family commitments, and at this point I took on the role as administrator. My strengths lie with helping parents with funding. Marlborough Day Nursery is very much a family business and I am proud to be part of its journey.
