Our son has been attending Mary Poppins for 18 months, since he was 1, and he absolutely loves going! He is always happy when he walks in the door and has a big smile on his face when we pick him up! The staff are so supportive, friendly and we feel very comfortable that our son is being very well looked after during his days there especially following some recent health issues - staff were mindful of his new diet needs and stayed in touch whilst he was off nursery briefly which was really kind. His development has come on in leaps and bounds over the time he's been attending Mary Poppins and I would recommend them to any parents looking to send their child to a family focused, caring and friendly nursery!

My daughter has settled well at Mary Poppins, the staff in the baby room are attentive and kind and rarely switched to other rooms, so she feels well attached and happy in their care. The activities in the room are always changed round and are creative, nurturing and fun for her. I picked this nursery because it had a warm, family feel to it, rather than a large corporate setting. The nursery staff are knowledgable on her development and what she has done that day, and she has a wide variety to eat whilst at nursery. We are happy with their care for our daughter and look forward to finding out what she has been up to each day. The office staff always keep us informed and are a friendly face in the morning and at pick up, and I love that they know my daughter by name, after just a few months in their care.

We have been using Mary Poppins for almost 3 years now and don't have a bad word to say. Both our children enjoy attending, the staff are caring and kind to all the children and also to the parents! I would definitely recommend this nursery to a friend.

Managers WelcomeMy name is Denise Harris, and I have worked at Mary Poppins Nursery since February 1995. During my time at the nursery, I have worked in every room with children of all ages. I began as a Nursery Nurse, progressing over time to Early Years coordinator, senior Nursery Nurse, Deputy Officer in charge and finally to Nursery manager in 2007.
I hold the NNEB qualification, BA (HONS) and the Early Years Professional status Qualification.
As the years have passed, I have gained a real understanding of what a difference excellent child care can make. This is not only to each child who often join us as a baby and flourishes into a confident, active learning, school ready child with skills for life achieved at a pace which is individual to them, not only to each parent who is able to leave their child with the confidence they are being cared for and supported as they would wish, enabling them to return to work with piece of mind but also to the staff team who thoroughly enjoy being with the children in their care and develop into experienced and knowledgeable practitioners.
