Mary Poppins has been excellent in looking after our daughter. When we first moved to Derby, it was stressful finding a nursery and sending our daughter for the first time. However, we had a very good experience and always feel reassured when we drop her off before work. The staff are very caring,
polite, and keep us updated about everything.Thank you to the Mary Poppins team for all your care and support.

After having my son, the thought of returning to work and leaving him in other peoples care really worried me. As soon as we were welcomed in to Mary Poppins we knew that it was the right place for him. Denise showed us round 4 years ago and we have never regretting putting him in to this nursery.
He absolutely loves coming to nursery, he is thriving and we will be so sad for him to leave but having now had our daughter we are exciting for her to begin her Mary Poppins journey. Returning to work this time around does not feel anywhere near as daunting knowing that she will be well looked after and entertained all day. Having personally attended this nursery 30 years ago it still has that family feel which is comforting and yet still professional. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much for them and you can really see that they care for the children. I recommend Mary Poppins to all of my friends and family who are considering nurseries. We couldn't wish for a nursery!

Our daughter has been attending Mary Poppins for almost a year now and we couldn't be happier with the nursery. She loves going every morning and is always excited to see her friends and key workers, which tells us everything we need to know about how happy she is there.
There are always plenty of
activities taking place, along with extra-curricular options such as dance classes, which our daughter absolutely loves. Her confidence, social skills and language have developed so well during her time there, and we feel that the staff at Mary Poppins have played a huge part in this.
We are always kept well informed about what's happening at the nursery, and we really appreciate the feedback and updates about what she's been getting up to during the day.

They do such an incredible job and the nursery has such a lovely, homely, friendly and welcoming feel.

We couldn't be happier with Mary Poppins Nursery. From the very beginning, the team made our son feel welcome, safe, and cared for. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which really shows in the warm and nurturing environment they create for the
children.
Our son absolutely loves going to nursery each day and is always excited to see the staff and his friends. It's been wonderful to see how much his confidence, social skills, and development have grown since he started. The team always keeps us informed and reassured, and it's clear they truly care about every child in their care.
As parents, it gives us great peace of mind knowing our son is in such capable and caring hands. We're very grateful to the whole team at Mary Poppins Nursery for the positivity, support, and dedication they show every day. We would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, happy, and nurturing place for their child.

Both of my children have attended Mary Poppins nursery and it's been a happy second home to them. My daughter's confidence grew from day one due to the warm, homely environment and the care from all the staff. It felt like I was dropping my child off with a family member. Her interests were taken on
board and she really flourished there and loved it until she left for school, so I was happy to send my son there too. He is still enjoying himself and loves all the activities they put on for the children. He is more than happy to go in the morning and I can see him playing with a smile when I pick him up. We've been so impressed with the gentle, knowledgeable and professional care for both of our children and can tell they treat each child and their needs individually whilst communicating to us in detail about their day.

Both my children have been to Mary Poppins and I really can't fault them. My son left a couple of years ago and my daughter this year. They are both very different children and the ladies who work there have been amazing with both. I was always so surprised at the things they were learning and
picking up at a young age and Mary Poppins has certainly helped both of them develop. The kids have both enjoyed going and are usually very excited to tell us what they have been doing with their day.

My child has been attending Mary Poppins for the past 3 years. Our experience of the nursery has been amazing, mostly due to the wonderful staff there. The environment is warm and friendly and I feel that my child is thriving in his development. Most importantly, my child is happy to go into nursery

The team at Mary Poppins are fantastic. Always great you with a smile at the door & look genuinely happy to see our little boy each morning. They are brilliant at giving us a run down at the end of the day & flexible with anything we need. Our boy absolutely loves it there & always comes out/home
with a smile on his face, fully tummy & exhausted from all the fun he's had!

Absolutely brilliant, I trust you so much to take care of Finley. You have always have been brilliant he loves it. He especially loves music Mondays with the parachute and always talks about 'Becky', I do hope this is his name otherwise apologies. You all do brilliantly with him, thank you so much.
Will really miss you all looking after him when he goes to school. Keep going the Mary Poppins angels x

I'm glad to write this review as I found a good nursery near me which is perfect for my daughter.
I like it most as it's not crowded and fully staffed.
I've introduced my daughter to nursery at the age of around 21 months initial she was not settling at all there crying everyday but staff from
front door to back everyone was very supportive and caring for her and she is enjoying there a lot and staying full 3 days a week.
Learning new things everyday and doing things at home too.

Our son has been attending Mary Poppins for 18 months, since he was 1, and he absolutely loves going! He is always happy when he walks in the door and has a big smile on his face when we pick him up! The staff are so supportive, friendly and we feel very comfortable that our son is being very well
looked after during his days there especially following some recent health issues - staff were mindful of his new diet needs and stayed in touch whilst he was off nursery briefly which was really kind. His development has come on in leaps and bounds over the time he's been attending Mary Poppins and I would recommend them to any parents looking to send their child to a family focused, caring and friendly nursery!

We chose this nursery in 2022 after it came highly recommended by several colleagues whose children had attended over the years, as well as by a former member of staff.
Our children are/were happy to go to nursery and speak fondly of the staff. The team create a warm, nurturing environment where
they feel safe, supported and excited to learn. My eldest is now in primary school, and Mary Poppins prepared him exceptionally well for that transition.
The staff and management are approachable, helpful, honest and transparent, which gives us real peace of mind as parents. It's also incredibly reassuring to see that several team members have been there for many years, reflecting the stability and good environment within the nursery.
As our third child is about to start, we feel confident in our choice, despite some sadness that our older children's favourite member of staff is leaving.
We're grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to other families.

Mary Poppins is a wonderful nursery with a great team! I have always had nothing but the up most confidence in the team for caring for both of my children.
My eldest recently started school following on from Mary Poppins and he was in such a brilliant place to start both socially and academically.
My youngest has recently started back in October and has settled in so well with the team in the baby unit which really put my mind at ease.
I would always recommend Mary Poppins to any of my friends and family looking for a nursery.

Amazing nursery team and staff. Really a home from home for my little boy which was so important to me. A huge range of skills and knowledge from staff which supports children's learning, development and most importantly ensures children are happy. Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

My daughter has settled well at Mary Poppins, the staff in the baby room are attentive and kind and rarely switched to other rooms, so she feels well attached and happy in their care. The activities in the room are always changed round and are creative, nurturing and fun for her. I picked this
nursery because it had a warm, family feel to it, rather than a large corporate setting. The nursery staff are knowledgable on her development and what she has done that day, and she has a wide variety to eat whilst at nursery. We are happy with their care for our daughter and look forward to finding out what she has been up to each day. The office staff always keep us informed and are a friendly face in the morning and at pick up, and I love that they know my daughter by name, after just a few months in their care.

We have been using Mary Poppins for almost 3 years now and don't have a bad word to say. Both our children enjoy attending, the staff are caring and kind to all the children and also to the parents! I would definitely recommend this nursery to a friend.

I'd score 6 stars if I could. Everyone at Mary Poppins has always been brilliant for both our children. I always feel welcome during drop off and pickup, and both girls have been very happy during their time at nursery. Made some great friends and have developed really well.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for 7 months now. Initially, we were very anxious but we have been very happy with our experience. Staff have been very welcoming, caring and flexible.
Ridu has learned a lot since she started going there. She is speaking words, trying to learn new
activities, has become more social and always happy to go to the nursery in the morning. I would definitely recommend this nursery.
