In the last 6 months since my child has started here, he has come on leaps and bounds. He also shares a really nice bond with his key worker and talks about her at home.

Generally good experiences of the nursery for my son. Seems to be always happy when collected and always looking forward to attending. Great food, good facilities and use of digital method seems to have died off, of late. Would like more info on activities completed during the day, rather than what
has been taken.

We feel that Busy Bees at Derby Heatherton offers a safe, warm and friendly environment for our child. It is very reassuring to know that when we are away from him he is in a loving and caring company of the staff who we believe to be very dedicated and committed to the children's needs. There is a
nice calm feel among the nursery despite the screaming children! We are comforted by the feeling that the children are protected and safe amongst staff who treat their children as their own.

My review was informative and a good insight into how my daughter behaves and acts once left at the nursery. She usually cries when I leave but I feel reassured that she is fine within a short time after. My daughter has said we can start potty training at nursery which is helpful to alongside home
training. Overall very happy with her progress.

My daughter started nursery from when she was 8 months old.
I feel very comfortable and at ease dropping my daughter off as I know she is going to be well looked after.
The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to and have helped my daughter settle in very well.

My little girl talks non-stop about nursery and the friends she has made. She also talks about the ladies in her room. My daughter has come on leaps and she is always singing and telling us numbers and letters she recognises confidently.
The nursery itself always looks amazing and the staff genuinely
care about both my daughter and our family.

Very pleased with the service provided by Busy Bees nursery in Heatherton. Both my son (1 year) and daughter (3 years) attend this nursery currently and I believe they are getting the best care. The food and drink are good quality and the resources are also adequate for the activities on offer.

My son has been at Busy Bees since he was nine months old. He has gone from the baby room right through to preschool. Staff are very welcoming and friendly.
My son has developed well through his time at nursery and is achieving all his major milestones. Busy Bees have a good range of age-appropriate
resources and have recently had a complete re-vamp so it all looks very clean fresh and child-friendly.
Parent partnership has developed massively in the years my child has been at nursery, but I believe this area could be improved further.
The manager is very approachable and does a fantastic job of maintaining the nurseries high standard.

We have started nursery since my baby girl was 7 months. Through the past 3 months my child does not only seem very happy and developing well, but I also feel that she is very well cared about and observed. I really appreciate the staff's dedication and time to comment on Parent's Zone about my baby's
day, and advice on what to do next to help her with development. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

I'm writing to express my gratitude for all the support, flexibility, creativity, working in partnership, open and regular communication from the manager at Heatherton.
My son has been at the nursery since January 2016 and although he has been a child who gets upset when coming into nursery, he has
been particularly upset/emotional since being in the toddler room.


However, after expressing my concern to the manager she has been amazing. She has listened and we worked in partnership to address the challenges.
She has been open to suggestions I have made and gone the extra mile to help settle my son.


The staff in the toddler room have worked with the manager and I too also think of ways to combat my son's anxiety related to nursery.
These methods have involved a lot of home/nursery working, photos, visits amongst using the strengths of staff.
My son is still not settled, but I wanted to take this opportunity to express how grateful I am for the input to date.

We are very pleased with the care and teaching our child receives whilst at nursery. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming and will always try to help if there is a need to. They offer a range of activities that keep our daughter engaged and she always seems happy to have been there.

Currently, my experience with this nursery has only been for a couple of weeks, in which my 9 month old daughter has been settling in. Obviously being new has been stressful to her and the nursery, but the carers, as well as management, have been very supportive in helping her settle in. The environment
is good and clean with excellent communication and co-operation amongst staff.
