Busy Bees Derby Heatherton

A friendly, well caring nursery. My daughter has gradually stopped crying when we drop her off and now talks with enthusiasm about her day.

In the last 6 months since my child has started here, he has come on leaps and bounds. He also shares a really nice bond with his key worker and talks about her at home.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Always encouraging my child and bringing out the best in her. Never had any issues with any member of staff, always providing the best service.

Generally good experiences of the nursery for my son. Seems to be always happy when collected and always looking forward to attending. Great food, good facilities and use of digital method seems to have died off, of late. Would like more info on activities completed during the day, rather than what has been taken.

We feel that Busy Bees at Derby Heatherton offers a safe, warm and friendly environment for our child. It is very reassuring to know that when we are away from him he is in a loving and caring company of the staff who we believe to be very dedicated and committed to the children's needs. There is a nice calm feel among the nursery despite the screaming children! We are comforted by the feeling that the children are protected and safe amongst staff who treat their children as their own.

Very happy with the level of care our daughter receives. Her development, confidence and character has shone since starting 6 months ago.

My review was informative and a good insight into how my daughter behaves and acts once left at the nursery. She usually cries when I leave but I feel reassured that she is fine within a short time after. My daughter has said we can start potty training at nursery which is helpful to alongside home training. Overall very happy with her progress.

Very pleased with the service provided by Busy Bees nursery in Heatherton. Both my son (1 year) and daughter (3 years) attend this nursery currently and I believe they are getting the best care. The food and drink are good quality and the resources are also adequate for the activities on offer.

My daughter has settled in really well here and the team are always so friendly even faces I personally did not know say hello and are more than happy to help.

The manager is very approachable and does a fantastic job of maintaining the nurseries high standard.

The staff have been brilliant since day 1 when my daughter would cry and not eat anything. They have supported her well and we can see a massive difference in her confidence.

We have started nursery since my baby girl was 7 months. Through the past 3 months my child does not only seem very happy and developing well, but I also feel that she is very well cared about and observed. I really appreciate the staff's dedication and time to comment on Parent's Zone about my baby's day, and advice on what to do next to help her with development. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

I sometimes feel there is a shortage of staff in the morning.

My son has been at the nursery since January 2016 and although he has been a child who gets upset when coming into nursery, he has been particularly upset/emotional since being in the toddler room.

She has been open to suggestions I have made and gone the extra mile to help settle my son.

My son is still not settled, but I wanted to take this opportunity to express how grateful I am for the input to date.

We are very pleased with the care and teaching our child receives whilst at nursery. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming and will always try to help if there is a need to. They offer a range of activities that keep our daughter engaged and she always seems happy to have been there.

Currently, my experience with this nursery has only been for a couple of weeks, in which my 9 month old daughter has been settling in. Obviously being new has been stressful to her and the nursery, but the carers, as well as management, have been very supportive in helping her settle in. The environment is good and clean with excellent communication and co-operation amongst staff.
